I have a question for you. How to make governments accept bitcoin and not see it as a threat? So that one could use bitcoin in daily use, such as paying taxes or grocery shopping. What is there, other than anonymity, thats making governments fear bitcoin and cryptocurrencies?
Bitcoin is a threat and there is no way to change that, governments see bitcoin for what it is a currency for the people not owned by anyone, so the only way for bitcoin to become accepted as a currency by governments is to beat them in their own game, that bitcoin becomes so big it is simply not possible for anyone to stop it.
Even if Bitcoin becomes big there is no way to be able to ensure that governments would accept the change and modify their own economies to deal with such a dramatic shift.

There would maybe, at best, be a shift away from the USD being the world reserve and having it become much like what we see in every other country but the USA. However that's unlikely any way you look at it.
This is true, but at the same time even if bitcoin never reached the acceptance of the governments of the world, that could be irrelevant if bitcoin reached massive adoption since at that point the recognition of the governments will be irrelevant, bitcoin will be by default a currency.

Very difficult to say that government is hard to accept bitcoin, Many reasons are possible. I strongly agree with all the reasons you say. In my view because bitcoin is anonymous. And the government would probably have some problems, because bitcoin is used anonymously and no one knows for sure detail transactions, this resulted in the government can not take the income tax and other taxes that the government should have the right to be taken.
I disagree, governments don't have a right to take your money, the only reason of why we accept it is because they are like the bully in the school they take your money because they are bigger and you cannot fight them back, it is that simple.

Governments are not going to be the people that want to accept bitcoin in the least as it's in the best interest to keep their fiat currency rolling and churning. Bitcoin is a nuisance to countries as they have to go ahead and pass regulations and such relating to it.

The only way to make them accept bitcoin is to force them into that relationship.
I think it's obvious that it will be very difficult to do this. especially if the government forced to accept bitcoi of course it would be detrimental to the government itself. so this will be an issue that will be long resolved

Rather than thinking about the ways to get the governments to accept Bitcoin, we should think about the ways for different companies and brands to accept it as a payment gateway or get more people into mining Bitcoin. That way, the popularity and the usability both will be increased and it will make a good future for the Bitcoin.  Smiley
If companies and brands accept Bitcoin, it will be easily used in the physical world. The government, however, does not like Bitcoin at all since they can not collect tax from the BItcoin users. Companies and brands are more likely to use Bitcoin because they can obtain the advantages from its technologies. Therefore, persuading companies will bring us more success

According to Me it's not possible to Convience the Government Of any Country Because Bitcoin is Decentralized and anonymous So its Very Difficult for the Government to accept it.
Also there is no tax on Bitcoin that's why No Government want to accept Bitcoin in their Country.......
You seem to be quite the authority of legal issues bitcoin can encounter. Bitcoin can be tracked more effectively than cash fiat money yet it is main legal tender.
So I doubt this is a reason for not accepting bitcoin. As long Bitcoin is used as currency so there is no tax directly possible.
But IRS can tax bitcoin services and purchases from legal businesses - it is perfectly doable and easy to do.

before making government accepting bitcoin payment system, we must make our friends and colleagues to adopt bitcoins. When more number of people will be using bitcoins, there will be more merchants and hence government may start think about accepting bitcoins as one of medium of exchange with some regulations like imposing taxes.
Nope, a government does not care about how many the people are trying to adopting the bitcoin in nowadays. but they just need to prevent the risk has provided by bitcoin.
A lot of the adoption in Venezuela and it's not showing good interest by the government.
A democratic government will listen to people's choice. I'm not sure about any specific country you will be talking but when mass adoption occurs, government will be having no control over bitcoins other than legalizing it for the possibility of some income for government.

Still, the stand on bitcoin might differ from government to government so only in time we can get the exact outcome of it.

one key is to find a way how to give taxes to the bitcoin users. if the government already knows how taxing the bitcoin users. I'm sure the government of each country willing to accept bitcoin

I think the government are taking tax from a transaction of bitcoin whether you are exchanging your bitcoin with fiat I think there are an tax paying over that transaction and because fiat money is considered to be put up instead of bitcoin, and when you are buying goods that is consider to be sales taxes, if you have a business that includes bitcoin that would be an income tax but if you are mining bitcoin it is somewhat uncharted territory. Literally bitcoins, and even digital currencies are so new, that there is little to no precedent for some aspects of bitcoin mining, from a tax perspective.

it takes time and trust that bitcoin is recognized by a state. many governments still fear in legalizing bitcoin. the only way is to use bitcoin as often as possible. So the government should not have to recognize bitcoin for a functioning economic system in the country.
for now, the government is very scared with bitcoin, because they think bitcoin currency is illegal and assist the process of crime such as money laundering and so on. maybe in the future the government can accept bitcoin under certain conditions
i think the accepting of bitcoin by the government is concern with the mass adoption. if people are accepting bitcoin and their number is increasing then government will also think about accepting bitcoin, but it is also a fact the government will accept bitcoin under certain conditions.

I think the government will only adopt some of the technology, bitcoin and domestic government benchmark currency conflict, it is impossible to fully trust. Isn't that anarchy?

The only feasible and plausible way to make government accept bitcoin is to organize a group who are good in politics and who love bitcoin and then you run in the elections. If you win in the elections then you and your group can make a move to finally let the government accept bitcoin. So good luck in your candidacy.

If they would see a large incentive for them to accept such, of course. But if the reason is only for just 'cause, then the answer would be a big no. The government would do everything in its power to prohibit or to hinder any advances to battle its own currency; it would put every possible regulation and every possible tax on the said currency just so it wouldn't be successful or it wouldn't reach the masses.

Maybe because a lot to us is not that big to them, it's still very young and it does not threaten the government yet. If the government is not making any actions against bitcoin or actions to regulate it, I guess that is a silent way of saying that they allow bitcoin to circulate. The fact that we cannot spend our bitcoins in  real life to buy for what we really need, then we have to convert it to fiat, and the government can still benefit from the taxes we paid.

First of all why you want government to accept bitcoins. If government enters in the scene means regulation is going to come. To deal with government we already have fiat currency or regulated digital currency like internet banking. So why you want government to enter the scene. This bitcoin is a decentralised digital currency only for the people. We can use bitcoins for transfering money from one part of the world to another without much delay and less processing charge. In my opinion every body should use fiat currency for local purchases and bitcoin should be used for online purchases and money transfering. In that way government will also get some income through income tax.

I don't see a way for governments to really like bitcoin. I remember reading interesting dialog where someone asked:

- "How are governments accepting Bitcoin?"
- "Pretty much the same way Dracula accepted wooden stakes."

In short, Bitcoin represents everything authorities don't want us to have. Economic freedom without boundaries. Unless we will fight for it government won't accept BTC, ever.

The major concern for government is that if they allow and make bitcoin the major currency they will lose control over the currency because Bitcoin cannot be controlled by Government.  The govt cant impose taxes and other regulations which they normally do with fiat. Losing control over currency is the major factor which discourages govt. to permote bitcoins.
