That will not gonna happen. Governments want to have controls on everything they manage. They want transparency. Bitcoin dont have that feature. Its not centralised like banks. They have no control to it. If theres one thing i think will catch their interest. The blockchain technology.

The blockchain offers complete transparency, so this argument should not be weighting all to much. The issue of bitcoin mixers however might affect their opinion.

this really is a difficult question
Bitcoin has great influence on the economy of a country, so if the government wants to accept Bitcoin, the Bitcoin to bring profits to the government and must be managed.
However, the government difficult, it was hard to be managed

I think also this is the case why the government could not accept bitcoin as there are some things that become obstacles of which you mentioned earlier that it was hard to be managed. furthermore there should be a fix bitcoin let me be accepted by the government.

I have a question for you. How to make governments accept bitcoin and not see it as a threat? So that one could use bitcoin in daily use, such as paying taxes or grocery shopping. What is there, other than anonymity, thats making governments fear bitcoin and cryptocurrencies?
I think all of people on the country must use bitcoin (mass adoption)
then gives good explaining government about bitcoin,
gives the governmet explaining about blockchain technology,
it will make the governmet accept bitcoin.

In my personal opinion, there no possibility bitcoin accepted by any government out of in this worlds.I have thought it just only imagination government will begin accepting the cryptocurrency Bitcoin as payment for government services. While most of countries ,third world's have banned or restricted on it.In fact, others issue have related that governments can't control bitcoin.

Who gives a f*** about what goverments think about Bitcoin?!
The people must accept and use it! Then governments can try to ban BTC as much as they want.It won't have any significant effect.
Governments need to see and accept BTC as what it is. A technological breakthrough which can't be banned or controlled by them or authorities in general. And if they try to ban it, innovation and companies of that space will move somewhere else!
Right now what the EU is trying to do will be a shot in it's own knees! Anyway this shitty artificial construction nobody in Europe wants will go down.Just a question of time.

Lol! The best way is to make your own party, contest election and implement Bitcoin when you won the election!
Now coming to serious note, it is not possible to implement Bitcoin in country's economy.
First of all, due to anonymity of Bitcoin, government cannot access anyone's Bitcoin and impose tax on it. No tax means no government income and indirectly it will lead to mass scale black money!
Secondly, it is not possible to define share of each country in Bitcoin. Bitcoin is based of utopia of Worldwide Globalisation. So Bitcoin is highly mobilizing security with no control of government!!

It is very impossible for government to accept bitcoin and I don't think that the two can get along very well because of bitcoins anonymity and there are no taxes for the transaction of it it is very unlikely for the government to accept a currency like that, but you don't need to worry about the government not accepting bitcoin because it will still continue and it will still grow without the provision of the government.

I think it will be very difficult dude because we know the government thinks bitcoin was not very profitable for them instead be new problems if bitcoin used to land the corruption of the corrupt bureaucrats. Not to mention such recent debate going on regarding bitcoin facilitate money laundering. I think it makes the government has not taken steps to adopt the bitcoin. Thank you
It is not about the profit. Bitcoin is ignored because it does not fit the centralized system and because of that fact, the government can not control it along with the citizen tax. The China have already developed the national digital currency and i think I will be very profitable. But the main reason is because they want to fully control the people

to do this, i think we can introduce bitcoin into government or ask them to read about bitcoin and if somehow they are interesting, i am sure that they will getting involve with bitcoin and not see bitcoin as a threat. it would be good that if government will be approve bitcoin as another payment in real life and help bitcoin to be used by more people in many country. but do we agree if government want to apply the tax for people that using bitcoin in daily use? i don't think so but i think if government getting involve with bitcoin, then they will make a regulation for bitcoin user like we should pay tax or another fee because we use bitcoin.

They aren't fear. It's just that it's hard to make priority of it since lots of talks must be made. Bitcoin is beneficial to all it's user and that will include those people who will do illegal. Remember that bitcoin transactions are hard to monitored even using some exchanges that requires ID and identification. Plus the fact that bitcoin mixers are around that can take care the anonymity.

Actually it's wiser way to use bitcoin in illegal activities that's why a brainstorming must be made by the government to be able to think some measures to protect users from illegal activities such as fraud, hack and stolen coins.

government don't need to accept bitcoin, people do.
and if they adopt bitcoin and start using bitcoin for their transactions instead of using other methods such as Paypal or credit cards there is not a damn thing they can do and they end up accepting the fact and regulating it.

In my point of view, bitcoin itself is already something that still keeping bitcoin from being accepted widely. Its uncontrollable and unpredictable nature will drive the governments crazy, they wouldn't want something that they can hardly keep their eyes on to take over their countries. And if the governments ever brought bitcoin into their system, there would be no freedom at all because they would impose tax on bitcoin and it would become just like normal fiat currencies.

If you want government to accept bitcoin then you need to give your identity and all of your transaction detail, and then the government will taxed you, and you lost the freedom, the government want all of our transaction under their control, and it is not suitable with the philosophy of bitcoin which is anonymity and freedom

It's impossible that government accept bitcoin and not see it as a threat. First, User of bitcoin is Anonymous and government don't know the transaction of other people, they don't know if they using it in illegal or in legal. But they know many criminals use it as the payment processor in their transaction. So Why would they accept this coin if this bitcoin is usually used in illegal transaction?
They fear about bitcoin and Crypto-currencies because they can't monitor, they can't see if the transaction is illegal, or legal.

What is there, other than anonymity, thats making governments fear bitcoin and cryptocurrencies?
Anonymity is the biggest hurdle for bitcoin to get accepted by governments/banks because they can't implement taxation as well as they can't track source of bitcoin. However anonymity is also the main feature due to which many users love to store in bitcoin and use it whenever they like.

Governments/banks may never accept direct bitcoin payments, but they may implement strict rules/regulation and high fees on local bitcoin trading platform. And as recent coinbase and PBOC investigation have shown that governments are now looking to get detail about every bitcoin traders who are actively trading bitcoin so that they can put tax on their earnings as well as limit money laundering.

Yeah, anonmity is the biggest obstacle which governments will use this as excuse to resist using bitcoin as official payment. The other factor is that governments and banks are printing new paper currency, which makes higher inflation, they hate bitcoin because it is deflation and decentralized. IMO governments hate bitcoin, we don't need to do something and let them accept BTC because they can't ban bitcoin either.

The only thing I see that can make governments take decisions in favor of Bitcoin is the transparency in using blockchain. There is also the fact that this makes people's lives better, but history has shown that, in general, governments choose ways that, even ineffective, allow them to have greater control over society. That being said, I think governments would prefer to create their own Blockchain instead of accepting Bitcoin as their local currency.

This thing would really be hard and it would take time or dont happen at all that government would able to accept bitcoin. The one thing that government dont really like about bitcoin because its decentralized and cant be controlled and government couldnt make or impose taxes on it thats why they dont like it.

Anonymity is the least of their concern, what bother's them is the possible damages it can cause to an economy
bitcoin is continuously gaining popularity if people prefer using bitcoin over their own currency it will affect their
economy badly.

I have already explained it a few times

Even if Bitcoin was not in fact conceived by some secret service or agency, it can still be used as a financial weapon by powerful governments (like the US) against unstable governments (like that of Venezuela). It is like spreading a lethal virus which only you have a vaccine against or are immune to. Bitcoin is not dangerous to stronger currencies like the US dollar but it can be deadly to weaker ones. It is like foreign currencies substituting the collapsing local one, but it is more dangerous since the failing government can still control the spread of a foreign currency inside the country through banks (by limiting or prohibiting non-cash transactions with it). This doesn't work with Bitcoin since it is not just a currency but also a payment system in its own right and which defies government control

In cyberspace no one can hear you scream
