I think the best motivation for work is salary. If you are having a big salary, it can lift your morale every month looking forward to payday! Also, don't forget to unwind every once in a while, get together with friends, hang-out with family, and don't forget to give yourself a treat.

I dont really know how to motivate a person to work.
I think the best way is :

do not give him any money
do not give him food
do not give him clothes
essentially do not spoil him !

then he will know that this life will be harder for people who do not want to work!
I think you're killing him Cheesy

Tell people exactly what you want them to do. ...
Limit the amount of time or effort that you're asking for. ...
Share in the sacrifice. ...
Appeal to their emotions. ...
Give people multiple reasons for doing what you want them to do. ...
Be the change you want to inspire. ...

What do you think?Motivate is really motives our mind.Another thing, when you’re inspiring people, you’re not telling them exactly what to do or giving them precise directions. You’re empowering them to be their best, trusting that they will then do the right thing. And the right thing they do may not be what you were expecting; it may be something beyond your wildest expectations.
The best way to motivate people to work is to give them the mindset that, if they work they will have money which in turn can help them purchase anything essential to them. Motivating people through showing them people with financial success based on the work He/She is doing or desires.

I never had to motivate to work. I love my job that brings me pleasure. But there are people whom no one can motivate. With them very difficult.

if a person does not want to work, then he will not work) many help nothing, no motivator) there are people who have nothing to eat, and they still do not go to work (they will try to find money, steal, etc.) Undecided Undecided

there are so many ways to motivate a person to work very hard. You can empower his more of a say in how he do his job. Ask for his input and get suggestions on how he can improve his performance. Most persons have an ideas about how he can be more efficient, but he may not share them with you unless you specifically ask him.  If you really want to him to be motivated, you need to take his advice and implement it. You should also give him the authority to interact, such as providing service for a client up to a certain point without needing to get prior approval.

For someone to be motivated or if you want to motivate someone, i think you better set an example to him or her. Show him how to ge productive and maybe this will further inspire him to do much better whether at work or maybe in his passion or skill.

I think you should promise to give him a money reward at the end of the work,it's an usual way but it's worked all the time.

In a work place incentives work best.

Sellers who are paid based upon commission might work harder than someone on salary since that person might feel that they're guaranteed the pay?
To motivate a person to work we must give credits and appreciate the work they've done.  A simple 'good job' is one great motivation.  Just being able to acknowledge the job well done.  Also another motivation is a raise on pay.  A healthy workplace and workmates and a good boss.

Well, i still believe that the carrot is better than the stick. If a person is motivated to do something for that person's gain. If we're talking about employer employee relations then setting rewards for certain goals really sets motivation on. Much like how we always want to achieve everything in xbox. But for personal motivation, i make smaller goals to make way for my bigger goals then i reward myself with every goals achieved. The one that actually keeps me motivated are the records i keep of my goals
