Hi, I just wanna ask how to overcome depression? I have a friend and she keeps telling me that she don't to live anymore and that it is better to die, she has lot of problems but she just keep it on her own, she is so depress and i can't find the right words to make her feel better. And also can't a person overcome depression on his/her own?

Depresi memang membuat fikiran menjadi tidak karuan, lupakanlah yang membuat kita depresi, berfikirlah positif apa yang sudah terjadi.
Cobalah mencari suasana baru, berinteraksi dengan lingkungan baru yang bisa membuat depresi terlupakan, karena berfikir positif dan berinteraksi dengan lingkungan baru mungkin menurut saya bisa membuat depresi hilang dan juga membuat kita merasa hidup kembali.

One of the easiest and fastest way to overcome depression is by staying with happy people, surround yourself with people who you share your issues with; stay with those that are always willing to listen and help you. Also positive thinking will be necessary. A wise man once wrote- what ever things that are good, lovely and girly think on these things, and let your heart ponder on them, because out your heart comes the issues of life. So guard your heart will all diligence.

some of the ways I get depressed I do the following

1. Meditation

Meditation is very useful for balancing the mind and also improves one's mood. Meditate at least 30 minutes on your own in a quiet and quiet place.

2. Drinking water

Inadequate water consumption can make the feeling of being bad mood and emotion quickly rise. But make sure you consume water instead of drinks containing soda or other chemicals.

3. Exercising

Light exercise and exercise can be one of the most powerful "ways to eliminate stress," because exercise allows the body to produce endorphins in the brain that make the heart feel happy. Bonus: Exercise can also prevent premature aging and stay young.

4. Consuming Fruits and Vegetables

Nutrition and minerals contained in fruits & vegetables help the brain function properly so it can help with stress.

5. Enough sleep and quality

Lack of sleep can make you experience bad mood when wake up and easy cheap when the activity in the office. This is because when you sleep, the body and brain in the resting phase and repair damaged cells. So if the process is not completed can make the activity disturbed.

6. Consumption of supplements & vitamin D

Regularly every day is always the consumption of vitamin D and also supplements such as Omega-3 which makes the brain to be comfortable so as to relieve stress and bad mood feelings.

7. Avoid anti-social attitudes

Do not confine yourself and drown in solitude or problems that ultimately lead to prolonged stress. Hang out with other people, go to the mall with friends, and chat with your co-workers (or gossip).

8. Be grateful

Accept the circumstances and be grateful for what you have now, many people often feel stressed & depressed because expecting a dream that is too high and far from reality. This does not mean you have no ambition, but in planning something is more realistic.

9. Love and affection

Spend quality time with people you care about like family members, friends and spouses. Communicate with them every day even if only in a short time because it can make feelings of being happy & peaceful.

entertain yourself with your favourite action. if doesn't help, visit the doctor, depression is a serious desease

you know, for me the solution is in forgetting those problems, trying to get as far from them as i can, doing something epe ш realy like and forgetting my mistakes or misunderstandings that caused the depression.

It is suicidal as a lot of people have committed suicide after depression and it is really sad.

Limiting addictions that give false sense of achievement (drugs, alcohol, porn, video games).  Try focusing more on things you might be lacking like getting healthy,  strong, wealthy, respectable, likable etc.

Depression happens when your body is not happy about it's current condition.

Depression likes to be bad thinking of mind. By feeling depression anyone may lead to go astray and actually feel lonely so such a person who feel depression need care and companion to take care obviously

 we all know what depression is and how it reduces one's possibility to operate. There are no "how to"s it's always hard to overcome this, yet you can get involved, force yourself to get out, start to appreciate the small thinks that really matter, it is not going to take away all your problems but it will slowly fix your brain. Lock yourself in between 4 walls, talk to no one avoid life and you will slowly fade.

Never away from anyone closest and let them know a lot about our problem. It will make your depression lighter. It's just that we have to pick the right people to share the problem. What I mean is that people will really help find solutions to our problems

To overcome depression first seek God's guidance, kneel down and pray ask God's empowerment to lift you up, do not let negative feelings to dominate you. Encourage yourself. You may feel sad, hurt, unwanted. Just cry. Let it out.
