The best way to protect your altcoins is to store them in different wallets. If you do not trade them at the moment - withdraw them from the exchange, there they can be stolen.

Sometimes, in order to ensure the safety of your coins, it is enough to use methods that many people have been using for a long time, and first of all it concerns the method of storing your coins, if you use a hardware wallet, then hackers have no chance.

The essence of the protection has to deal with safeguarding your private key, and there are two basic ways of doing that;

COLD STORAGE: Which is the art of keeping your private key offline; possibly storing it in word, PDF or even in hard copies

HOT STORAGE: More like what you get with the likes of Metamask; etc.
It involves accessing your wallet address with the private keys, on an online platform.
This mode of storage is vulnerable to cyber attacks hence; i'll advice you stick with cold storage for your main account, and transfer other coins stored online to the ones offline; for your own safety.

At the moment, there are no ways to protect your tokens, in general, there is only your private key, which cannot be transferred to anyone, but there are no other methods of protection and this is very regrettable since the probability of losing your assets is very high

The best way, but it takes the most time, is to invest a cold wallet, then put your most valuable assets into it. Cold wallets now support a variety of security methods to help hackers not reach your coin

You have to secure your computer with anti virus software, be careful when clicking on links and never reveal your private key. I suggest to get a hardware wallet to secure your coins, it is better than relying on your anti virus alone.

Awareness is the main thing to avoid hackers. If you have enough money to buy a hardware wallet then always go for that. Trezon and ledger nano s is the best and secure wallet. Always use official wallets if you use it in computer. Never use a 3rd party wallets. Don't always use key or pass to check whatever you have. Use a scanning platform to  check your wallets behaviour. And don't trust anybody always check the site where you enter is safe or not. And always be careful.

According to me, the best way to protect against hackers, these activities. Always keep your privkey securely stored, best somewhere offline. Another option is to have a hardware wallet. Beware of phishing sites. Use 2FA authentication to access exchanges. These are just the basic steps for your safety.

There are rules and precautionary measures to follow in order to ensure tgat your assets are safe. Some people make the mistake of keeping their coins on exchange, which is very wrong and by virtue of that, have lost their coins. If you are not an active trader, there is no need to do that. Even if you are a trader, try to always withdraw your profit. Any wallet you do not gave private key to, do nit save there.

Use offline wallet like trezor or nano Ledger,
Hacker's couldn't open it unless they know your passphrase ,
For me it is the safest wallet to store your crypto.

Hello friends, everyone, this time I answer your question, how do you protect your altion?

namely by:

Use a strong password
You may have heard that email passwords should consist of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols. Create a strong password that consists of these elements so that hackers cannot hijack your e-mail. Especially if all this time you have received a credit card bill via email. Also change email passwords regularly.

Install features that are connected to mobile so that e-mail can detect logins from unknown devices. For an ATM PIN, do not use the date of birth.

What is the best methods to protect altcoin from hacker?
You should buy a hard wallet. Ledger Nano S is offering a 50% discount, $ 75 for an altcoin protection device. I have been using it for 2 years now and I have not yet been hacked by my hacker. It is the safest system.

take care of your private key, passwords and dont click any suspicious link that has been sent to you through pm, shared on any social media sites, etc. the only reason why hackers have the access on your account is because they successfully get your key.

secure your account especially your password, and don't enter carelessly, usually they use link links to cheat
also pay attention when you log in, it's as usual or there is suspicion

I think the best way to protect yourself from hackers is to purchase a hardware wallet. You can also create multiple wallets and store them partially your total amount.

The only protection you can give yourself is accuracy and patience, which ultimately will help you make the right informed decision, so I hope that you will still set a goal to master these skills in order to further protect yourself from everything.

Just make sure that you are using a trusted wallet ,
Don't put it in any wallet make sure that you also have some back up to that wallet.
For me I only use hard ware wallets and MyEtherWallet.
