Blockchain.info wallet still not implemented sign message feature to the main addresses. Only for imported addresses. But you can not back up imported addresses so if something goes wrong you are unable to recover from seed.

Quick question... is a signed message required for each tx, Or can a single signature be valid for example 2 weeks?

Your signature just proves you are the owner of your wallet.

I think this is important and I really need to do this. Thanks for let me know something like this.
I just read the first post on this thread and still learning step by step.
Anybody know, is there any case related to this prevention tips which can prove that an address belong to me. I mean is there any cases that successfully recovered from hacking since he did this sign a message? Then if any, how about the balance inside that wallet? Is it safe or this just will prove the wallet owner so far and can not prevent from its balance robbery? (sorry, this is very newbie question, I understand it)

The signature can not prevent you from hacker. If you lose your private key, you should create a new wallet.

Can you tell me how and where can i verify the bitcoin sign message any tool or website?

You can use your bitcoin wallets like electrum or bitcoin core to verify the signatures.
Although, the faster alternatives would be to use online tools like https://tools.bitcoin.com/verify-message/ or http://www.coinig.com/

is there any way we can sign in message on coins.ph?
No. You don't own any of your Coins.ph addresses. And that's why you don't use a web/hosted wallet.
oh i get it now sir, i guess we need a hard wallet to sign in/verify message is that what you mean right?
No, he meant that if you use coins.ph, it means that your keys are stored by third party so technically, you Don't own those coins.
Instead on depending and trusting a third party, you must setup your own wallet. It can be bitcoin core or electrum, which provides you with private keys.
You can you them to sign messages.
thanks for the info sir, now i understand very well!

Do we include the private key in message? If yes, is it not problem?
And where to post the signed message to proof my bitcointalk? So if get hack i can use it to proof.
NO!
Yup, i totally agree never put/give other people your private key, it is the only way to get your account back if you got hacked someday, and it's also the thing that convinces you as the real owner or not.

You should NEVER put your private key anywhere! Tongue

Did you read the very first post in this thread? There are clear instructions there on how to sign messages...

The only data that should be posted when you're signing a message is:
- The Message
- The Address you "signed" the Message with
- The encrypted "signature" that was created when you signed the message

There is also a thread for "staking" addresses... https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=996318.new#new

how to do it in new blockchain.info wallet the new version of block chain as i can see any option to do it .
Actually you need the private key from your address, then you can use blockchain to use it as your wallet and you can do sign message.
private key is the main key.

Do we include the private key in message? If yes, is it not problem?
