My country’s agriculture should be focused on more since this will not only reap food for the citizens of my country but this could also be a driving force for us to export products out of the country and into other countries

but instead we are the one importing foreign goods when we could easily make it in our country if we only had the right and the best resources

Those countries which in which the major use of their countries comes and fulfil through their own agricultural field. They should do it in a better way to make things before the way they was in mind that a time will come in which their will be food shortage in the country. They have to make their agricultural field system more fast as that was before and now they should produce more food to keep them for a long time and even they can supply these item to other countries.

But there will also be problem creating for those countries who have low on agricultural resources and who didn't have more in the agricultural resources. They all have to work on their Economics after that they can manage these things by getting through other countries in a way that they should get these things in order to give high money to other countries may be.

I've seen those people that have been planting their food and they're happily doing that. The joy and experience is on a different level and not just you're helping yourself to have your own crops and food but you're also showing to the community that you are part with that it's possible to do some of these gardening for their own sustenance.

They can do like giving out of planting seeds, the ones that bear fruits or vegetables. AFAIK, there have been support from most of the countries to do these in countryside but I don't know on the city but if there's none, just do your initiative to do it.

Yeah, not everyone has their own facility and free lot behind their houses. But as long as there's a space, I've seen those type of gardening that they just put it on a plot/vase where they can put the seed and make the grooming there. We can just apply the thought and saying about having the will and having the way.

What solution are you talking about? That's pretty generalized and vague that you didn't say any kind of solution so how can you say that some of them are pragmatic or not? Crypto isn't the solution to the woes of the farmers, poor farmers need to be able to make money out of their harvest while not worrying about the fertilizers and pesticides that they're using for their crops, what they need is infrastructure and roads that will make it easy to move their products to the market which is essentially cutting the middle man because that's what I've seen that's making it difficult for farmers to get profit out of their crops and livestocks, the middleman is what's making the most money.

If one has spare space in the backyard, he can do gardening there, but not everyone has this facility. There are also people who live in very small houses, and it is difficult for them to plant any plants there. Fewer people live in such large houses. Another problem may be water, most of the places do not have enough water to do gardening, even if there is space, you cannot take advantage of this facility due to lack of water.

In most of the countries, the farmers also face many problems and the governments do not fully support these farmers and solve the problems. What steps will the government take for a common man in such places? Agriculture is the backbone of any country's economy where governments support farmers and common people, such problems do not occur. A common man can also play a very important role in this problem if governments provide facilities to farmers as well as common people.

Those who have sufficient land to grow some of the pagan needs they need will certainly not have difficulty if they experience food shortages, because they can grow their own crops and this will also make them appreciate it more because they grow their own needs so this will be more natural if we Planting them does not use fertilizers that contain chemicals and we can use organic fertilizers so that the plants we plant are more natural.

Those that have backyard lots that are free, you can start gardening and you know what? It's not the food that you'll be able to harvest from those plants that you'll get. But it's about the effort that you'll appreciate yourself and nature because you're able to do such with it. And you'll see how hard it is grow a plant and for you to see its roots grow and also the fruits if you have planted a fruit bearing plant.

This applies if you are an individual and trying to bring some ingredients behind your house and this is common these days. You get chili/pepper and you just pick them up, some lime and other juices from their fruits.

It's like that and for the farmers, well, it's more of a bigger problem that we can imagine. it should just be them solving their own problem but the government that focuses on the agriculture or certain agency that tackles with it needs to help them.

In most countries, loans are given to farmers for fertilizer, irrigation etc. The problem countries face today, farmers are reducing. Could be due to diminishing return, consumers now focus on specific farm produce and neglect others. Some good foods doesn't make it to our dinning tables, because farmers stopped farming them as they don't tend to sell it after harvest. Hence, the food shortage is from the side of consumers. In my country, a lot of people feed on at least 6 different kinds of food. Neglecting hundreds other foods. Farmers can't continue planting neglected foods. It's true, land pollution has affected farmers in some regions where specific foods germinate. Yet, the agricultural sector will always do anything within their power to provide those foods if people needed them. When demand is less, production will be high and price cheap, so that consumers can buy. Unless farmers who love planting those special crops, a lot of farmers don't go for crops that won't yield them lots of profits. The market is not only influenced by the farmer, but consumers too, even the price is also controlled by consumers. Many espensive foods, are like that because consumers are much. And the more farmers focus on producing those food, they'll be a diminishing return, therefore skyrocketing the price of such food. As demand is high, which has caused caused the reduction of the production rate. Consumers can reduce the price of any food, by not purchasing the anymore.

    Food shortage is one situation in a nation that causes some consequences. Some countries are liable to food shortages and then they're left with less economic growth which they have to fix. Food and Agriculture has its own impact on the economy of a country and if left unattended to will definitely cause some negativities. There are correction processes that must be followed by countries that experience shortage and the key process should be diverting the focus of that nation to solely agriculture. It's not an intentional action that causes shortage, sometimes it's climatic, sometimes it's due to less resources, so in such situations, there has to be alternative ways to generate resources for these nations. The government in turn ensures that they infuse more on planting and harvesting, so even as the food shortage tend to occur, there'll always be residual foods in store that'll go round and be available for the people.
  We can also see that countries that focus more on agricultural production tend to have surplus of food thus creating revenue from exports of their agricultural products. China is known as one of the world agricultural country in the world. They literally can feed the entire population of their country looking at our vast they are. Yet food is surplus there. Agriculture is very important to our livelihood and economy because food is a necessity for everyone to ensure growth of the mind and body.

I don't know about you but I can't the say the same thing about myself. The war, specifically Russian-Ukraine war did effected us even after having no connection at all. The price of everything went up midnight. Specially food and oil. I know that we import these things from different countries not just Russia but despite that, the prices went up. Even at this moment. I am not taking about any luxurious things, I am taking about things that the poor and commoners use. Can you imagine the that? Wheat, rice, potato, onion, garlic, oil, meat, fish, vegetables everything.

Food shortage is one of the common problem in most countries, sometimes climate change can affect food production and crops, I don't think there's a way to fix food shortage in a country, lets observe, people in the Agriculture sector will not suffer this issue, Agriculture have a great impact in times like this. My suggestion is countries facing food shortage should focus more on agriculture, planting crops and support should be given to farmers.

What if that war-mongering country is a major exporter of a specific food? In this case Russia is one of the major exporters of worlds wheat and the war makes it difficult to keep running a safe transit. No other country will take the risk of importing goods from a country that is at war. The country that was dependent on importing wheat from russia will have to look for other alternative or they will face food shortages.


Earth's soil is naturally fertile if you are not living on a rocky mountain. We use fertilizers to increase food production, but without their use, we can still grow crops. There are other better alternatives, like compost fertilizer, which can be produced by using natural ingredients that are available in our surroundings. The only difficulties the villagers will be facing is with their communication or transportation. In a war, the most affected sector will be transportation, which is essential for importing any goods from outside the villages.

The war did not have a big effect on the food crisis that occurred in the world, the war only meant that the countries involved could no longer make maximum use of agriculture so that it affected production which made it difficult for local people to get food. However, what is currently frightening is that almost the entire world is being hit by extreme climate change, so the entire world is very worried about the food crisis.

  Yes, maybe people in rural areas can still survive and have the opportunity to work on the available land to support life. But another obstacle they face is the difficulty of obtaining fertilizer materials and the price is very high, so the current conditions are very difficult for all residents, both in villages and in cities. The government of course always thinks about this thoroughly, but the impact of climate change and conflict situations between countries makes this crisis difficult to overcome.

If we live in an agricultural area, it would be a good idea to sit down and have a discussion about business governance models, for example for a Rice Bank for example. Where the procedures are adjusted, the main aim is to increase the productivity and welfare of farmers, which ultimately supports national food security.

focusing in the core problem, would instead solve all the problems indeed, just focus on agricultural practice even go as far as utilizing the powerful AI to manage all the agricultures day and night imagine AI managing so many agricultural fields with ratio of success thats quite high thats what I call innovation and could definitely save us from food shortages even have the chance to bring down the food prices as little as possible therefore solving world hunger.
I think thats the thing, people are too fixated into fixing things thats not the core problems leaving the core problems unsolved which in turn gonna be producing more and more problems in the future.

But what and how do you want cryptocurrency to do in this case? Yes, cryptocurrency is a powerful innovation but that doesn’t mean that it was meant to (or can fix) everything and anything. Instead of looking at cryptocurrencies, let’s look at the solution to these issues you mention. How about we do better/sustainable agricultural practices? Shouldn’t we involve research teams, maybe they can research on how to develop climate-resistant crops? Etc. Nothing to do with any cryptocurrency.

If you step back a bit and look at the world through a different lense, you see that some countries just produce too many people and there are not enough resources to support them. This cycle has continued for many generations and progressively gets worse. Even with leaps forward in production ability and efficiency with things like farming, it seems that the population just leaps up to and over the new found resources that are available. In some cases the government encourages it, or at least does not do enough to discourage parenthood when it may leave certain families in even more disadvantageous situations and unable to support their children. More education and contraceptive availability would be the best route, but this is often blocked by certain religious ideas, however foolish that may be.

War has a big impact on the global economy but food shortages only happen when that region of the world is a major food producer. If you look at Russia-Ukraine war then it is obvious that it put a big impact on wheat products, as both of them are natural sources of a major portion of the wheat produced in the world. On the contrary, the Israeli and Palestinian war doesn't have any major impact on worlds food prices. This depends on the region where the war is happening.

If you are living in a urban area then it will be hard for you to survive in times of food shortages but in the countryside people can grow crops for their own needs. This won't make any difference in that country's food shortage problem, but this can help people survive. It is advisable to move towards rural areas in a time of war because urban areas become the primary target of a war.
