Then it looks that there is no food shortage, but the problem is in poverty and food availability. Every time I visit market and food stores, I see no food shortages there. Shelves are always full with food. I only observe different food range and availability, but this is mainly due to increased delivery cost. I cant say there is no food shortage, there is always an alternative. Maybe we had a period when we have problem with amount of food we get in shops, but imho that was caused due to covid and restrictions on working places. Fewer workers, decreased production. Now we are facing consequences of it and will be having them for few years. Imho in few years everything gonna get normalized or balanced as it was in past.
You are right, the current food availability tends to decrease due to the influence of the climate during the dry season, the government's alternative option is to provide imported food on the market for a higher price range because local farmers have decreased food production and agricultural base areas are also experiencing a food crisis. After post-covid, the availability of food has not recovered optimally and local farmers have only experienced abundant harvests for only a year, but in the last year many farmers have suffered losses due to the influence of the dry season, we hope that the dry season will end soon and food availability will soon increase. I am worried that if food prices are not resolved immediately due to the lack of local food availability it will trigger an increase in the prices of other basic goods. I hope the government has the right solution to address the food problem.

I have only witnessed food shortages during the pandemic season because people were panic buying and hoarding goods so it was hard for us to look for foods that we need. After the pandemic, I've never seen food shortages anymore. I agree that the reason might be poverty. Foods are actually present everywhere, it's just that some people lack money to sustain their necessities including primary goods.
However, the possibility of experiencing food shortages might still happen in the future so it is better if we know how to look for alternatives like planting from our backyards, storing non-perishable goods, and more. We still need to be prepared for the possible challenges that might come our way.

if we talk about this globally, then the shortage of food staples is very difficult for us to overcome, because it is the government's business to deal with imports and exports. however, there are some countries where the agricultural land is very good, or the sea has a very large source of fish or sea creatures. because it is a government matter of import and export. what we need to do is improve the finances we have so we can buy it.
If you are thinking of increasing your food sources personally, or in your area. then you need to improve your agricultural knowledge, or waters. I've seen several people who make their own food sources, they learn farming, animal husbandry, hydroponics, learn things about fish farming, and others. in fact, I've seen several people who started raising laying hens when the pandemic occurred. it is a smart way to produce food sources every day.
The food problem will continue to get worse. Scientists talk about this, and clairvoyants predict. This is facilitated by rapid climate change, which everyone has already felt. Moreover, the process accelerates and becomes irreversible. In part, it will be necessary to restructure agriculture for growing vegetables and fruits that are not characteristic of the regions, and in part the soil will become unsuitable for this. In both cases, the losses will be significant.
If the population of the planet continues to grow, then the problem of food will affect us all.

To be honest, those who can afford to create personal food sources are the ones who can actually afford to buy food, and those who can't even afford to buy food can never be able to create food sources themselves because that can't be done for free and you need to at least invest some money in it to be able to produce something useful that you can use on a daily basis, you need to have enough space, land, and all the resources to be able to achieve that.

Inflation affects the lower side of the economy very badly, those who barely earn a minimum wage come to the verge of death because of hunger and lack of food and resources, and governments barely do anything for them, even if they do, it's not a continuous effort and is done only for a while to catch attention for themselves.

Food shortage has become one of the problems in the world today. Many farmers have stopped farming due to climate change and rising prices of all agricultural inputs, resulting in a global food shortage. Irrigation system is very important in agricultural work, but due to the increase in electricity and fuel prices, agricultural production is disrupted, resulting in less food production than the amount of food needed in the world, as a result of which many people are living without food. The government is giving a lot of importance to the agriculture sector to meet the food shortage. I believe that if the agriculture sector is given adequate facilities then the food shortage will be greatly reduced.
The agricultural sector must be a priority and get more attention from the government. Because currently the number of farmers may indeed decrease drastically. Some of my friends that I know who are farmers today have even stopped farming. What they tell me is that costs for agriculture such as fertilizer have increased tremendously. Meanwhile, the selling price did not increase significantly. Which makes maintenance costs and selling prices unbalanced and of course the farmers cannot get the maximum benefit from this condition. it is natural that many farmers stop and switch professions.

While reading your post, I have remembered Will chatgpt really destroy the job market? topic. People who might lose their jobs due to ChatGPT can switch to being farmers. What are the main farming problems? Increased cost of fertilizers and climate change (global warming). I am dramatizing and being silly, but all those IT guys could at least take umbrellas and hide crops from sun (hope you can get my idea in general). They can work to decrease fertilizing costs. They can be the working force to help agriculture.

Food shortages have being a big problems in the global world today where tremedious things are happening people finds it difficult to buy food especially,
If you talk about food and climate of course it is a natural phenomenon that can make humanity starve and die, water is one of the sources of human life, without water what is on this earth can be destroyed, there is no way to do something to survive.

However, if you are talking about food shortages, of course it can still be overcome, because in that situation it still rains and other countries still have rice stocks etc., if that happens you can still take other alternatives, such as planting sweet potatoes, cassava, potatoes, because it's a plant that needs little water, for that you can still sell to other countries and produce an economy to buy rice, that's one way you can survive from a food shortage disaster.
You're touching the core of our species' inventiveness and adaptability. A food crisis doesn't mean a death knell, for our instinct to survive and the strides in technology can engineer solutions. Yet, your view is localized. Imagine a global scenario of food and water shortage? Frightening, yes, but not improbable with accelerating climate change.

In such circumstances, we need to delve into more than just alternatives like cassava. Our pondering should extend to vertical farming, hydroponics, lab-grown meat. Radical dietary shifts like consuming insects, a protein-rich and eco-friendly source, might be needed.

The thought of food scarcity is daunting, but our human nature is to evolve, invent, and endure. We've shown repeatedly that we can.

Well said, we humans learn from our mistakes and always find a way or solution to our problems for our own convenient. We've already reached this far where there's already existing technology which gives a high convenient to anyone. For sure we already have some other way to survive this kind of situation, and we're already aware of what we call "food shortage". So as you've given examples are some examples to survive this kind of situation as we can't control the climate change. There's already indoors farm that could actually grow plants which is edible.

Climate change is caused by nature, but if the problem of food increases, the government can handle it, which is obliged to improve the welfare of farmers so that they can produce abundant food and there is no shortage of food in an area.
There are a number of areas that are still able to produce large yields, some farmers are still continuing to produce, even though the price will rise slightly, considering that the staple goods that farmers need also increase, but I think the current government always has a plan for that and they will also definitely maintain that the sources natural resources remain abundant.

There is no food shortage. It is only a manipulation of the price to make it higher. Because if many people believe that shortage is true maybe because of calamity, wildfire, temperature, FUD news, and more. This causes fear to the consumers to buy at a higher price, because what? Food is out of supply? No. There is enough supply. It just happened that many food traders are taking advantage both the hard working farmers and consumers.

Food shortages can be a challegning situation to navigate, but there are several strategies that can help ensure survival. Stockpile non perishable foods; Canned goods, dried beans, rice and other non perishable foods can be stored for long periods and provide reliable source of sustenance during shortages. Grow your own food. If possible, consider starting garden to grown your own fruits and vegetables. This can provide a sustainable source of food and reduce reliance on grocery stores. Reduce food waste. Make an effort to use all parts of the food you have and avoid throwing away edible portions. It is important to stay calm and prepared during times of food shortages. By taking proactive steps to secure food sources and reduce waste, you can increase your chances of survival.

Food shortages have being a big problems in the global world today where tremedious things are happening people finds it difficult to buy food especially, rice products, climate change has devastated  the whole global world where crops can no longer do well in the farming system, believe with this new information about the crypto space can  our climate change system be put together where there will be high rate of food shortages in the global world as a new beginner I want to know we can fix this things I mentioned.

I know this was posted a few months ago.

There Hasn't been a food shortage that wasn't political in nature since the great depression

Crops are doing better then ever.   So no idea where to got that information.  If it was the news then you should immediately stop listening to anything they have to say.

As a example we produce 2/3s more food now on 1/4 of the land as we did only 50 years ago.   so,  yah,  no such thing as a food shortage that Isn't political motivated.   And, this number is set to go up even higher.

Climate change is a political story btw.  The claim that cO2 is a disaster is easily dis-proven since co2 is plant food is measured in parts per million (ppm). It  doesn't even make the top 3 greenhouse gases.  Water vapor is primary,  not by a little bit buy by a rather stunningly large margin.  65-85% is water vapor.  Co2 is 0.004 ish  of that 0.004 about 3% is human.  Which translates to 0.00012 ish co2 belongs to human production.

So I applaud the concern but the source of information you are getting this from are probably lying to you even if they don't know they are lying.

This question is like saying that my math grades are not good, and I don't have a high degree of education. I am indeed a very good sniper. Bitcoin is only a breakthrough in the establishment of a new order in the financial industry. I personally think it is a breakthrough in de-dollarization.

Many farmers today complain about increasingly severe weather changes, and now global warming is increasing, many people fail to design something they want to fulfill, especially the problem of food that cannot produce optimally, so now we have to find new space to deal with all this for example investing in the crypto world and other businesses that we can run without any problems with the current weather conditions, At this time, we have to release new ideas because they are needed.

Weather changes are negatively impacting some regions, but at the same time they are having positive impact on some other regions. Countries such as Pakistan, Australia and China were severely impacted by droughts in 2022. India and Bangladesh witnessed large-scale flooding. The same time, wheat output in Russia reached record highs. As a result of climate change, rainfall is increasing in some regions, and decreasing in some others. And rains have become more unseasonal, making it very difficult for farmers to plan for sowing and harvesting of their crops.

Imagine that as already the problem of the farmers for the shortage in the foods but here in my country there's also a problem when it comes to payments or salary of a regular farmer which is literally minimum that couldn't support for your needs. My thoughts about this if government give concern to the farmers and also to the issues from the farm itself then it might have a good impact to the agriculture and food industry. Since we're already in the era of new technologies introduced to us then maybe we could invent something for the convenience of the farmers.
