Global warming and climate change can't be avoided anymore since we don't really care about it, especially the Government that only wants power and developing things that's just gonna destroy the world.

Here in my country, farmers are producing lots of food like rice, vegetables, even fruits but they never get the support from our government, so their harvest are mostly ended up in the side of the road rotting because the government didn't want to buy it in a fair price so the farmer's have no choice but to give it away or leave it there. If we really want to solve the poverty, food shortages, the Government is the one who should make the first move.

If they don't want to, then we're on our own to survive this kind of problem, lucky for those living in provinces since they can easily raise crops and animals.

Climate change has been a problem for a long time. To be honest, it has been talked about for decades. I was in high school 30 years ago, and it was a problem that was really being talked about. Now, when it comes to food shortages, in those kinds of situations, I can really say that it's good to live in the provinces because even if you don't have money, you can easily survive.

Because when you are in the city, you will have a really hard time surviving because all actions and movements require you to have money. If you don't have money, you will definitely be hungry, and your stomach will growl. So what other people do is plant the empty lot they have in their yards with food such as vegetables, fruits, and so on, just in case they somehow have a source of food, and at the same time they also save expenses.

This has been the major problem affecting the under developing countries and people at large, and it has lead to lost of life of many.
To me I can say, when the level of food supply is not up to the demand of food it causes shortage of food.
It can also be put in another way as inadequate production of food.
Life has made us understand that food is one of the basic need of man and without it man can not grow properly.
There factors that causes food shortages.

There is always a risk involved in doing something that will reduce or prevent food shortages, as you say that will have a direct impact on nature. However, if you compare the opening of new land for more beneficial interests with land clearing for commercial purposes, the comparison is clearly very different. But it also doesn't mean we don't have to pay attention to this, for example by opening new land to save food, it must be managed properly. Don't let it become a failed project, or in the sense that they only do land clearing but in action it's big 0.

Poor countries will always have food shortage, but the problem will not in food availability, but because they peoples income is low and they cant afford food. Under "food shortage" I understand situation, when shops are empty and we need to search or fight for food. Like in post apocalyptic movies. So far, within 100m of availability, I have shops, cafés and restaurants full with food.

When there is any form of insecurity in the land, there can never be any growth nor development that could take place. A full blown war is far worse as we've all seen it destabilize the food production going on in the country.
I too have fears that the war in Ukraine is coming to an end any time soon and the war between both parties has shaken the rest of the world. Both countries before the beginning of the war, provide either goods and services that was very vital to a lot of countries and now, those goods and services provided have either been cut drastically or stopped in its entirety and that has felt a big blow to economies of different countries.

We would need peace in order for growth and development. For the world to be connected, we may need a whole lot more than peace.

That is true food shortages have been a global problem today. With that shortages the cost of food became so expensive because of the situation globally. Climate change, economic downturns, natural disaster, pandemic and the likes are among the cause of food shortages. For us to be able to overcome or to survive food shortages we need to plan of other option to be able to survive. We can start to grown our own vegetables if you have a vacant lot and we can grow different kinds of vegetables that we can consume later on and we can save funds instead of buying to the groceries. We can also preserve some food that can last for a long period of time. Stock up some food like canned goods, rice pasta etc that we can eat in times of food shortages.
