Last week, I found an airdrop project in Telegram called Marco Protocol, the airdrop looked decent at the first stage, I earned 200 MAPC tokens and that was instant! But you only can withdraw from your MAP wallet when Airdrop program will end, that's good, I am okay with it. Their airdrop tweet got 8K retweet and 9K likes, so, you can understand how hype it had!
But yesterday, they announced they are going to sell Bitcoin at a 50% discount to celebrate the halving. Can you imagine? 1 Bitcoin price is 8600 USD, people can buy by 4300$! I believe This is absolutely scam but many newbies already have fallen for that! As they saw MAPC has huge support in twitter, and they listed on CMC too.

50% off announcement: https://t.me/MAP_POB_channel/87

Honestly I have stopped doing airdrop now . No good projects do airdrop and even if some legitimate projects do it is for pennies . Well about the half price discount how can they fall for such a scam ? People expect to make free money . They must understand that if something is too good then it probably is fake

There are still valid airdrops but their value is always penny, I hunt airdrops that are trading on exchanges only because many are crap tokens, airdrop websites like airdropalert, airdroprating and airdropbob are reliable

Common give me a break! this trick is not new at all, But I'm pity of those newbies that easily fall with those cheap tricks, scammers are repeatedly using the same method to scam people and yet still many will bite it without caution those 50% discount of bitcoin price is already shady, But if that offer was made on a legitimate exchange just to celebrate will that was considerable offer, but when the unknown platform was offering it its no doubt it was a trick and don't fall for it.

Wow...that was a nice offer for a fool and greedy person. I appreciate how they attract noobs to become their victim but I think it never works now knowing that noobs have also knowledge about this kind of scammy artwork.

And if they are inviting you to follow and give support for them, I suggest ignoring them and keeping in a distance coz it never gives you an opportunity gain but gives you some temptations to go along with them and be a part of their game.

Last week, I found an airdrop project in Telegram called Macro Protocol......................
I just checked on the telegram and browsed about Macro Protocol, but couldn't find the information. Am I missing something? The channel or website? If there is clear information, maybe we can analyze the project first before deciding that it is a scam or not. But, if there is a very lack of information, it seems strange and probably belongs to "scam".
Marcopolo Protocol is right. And the airdrop program has been running for a long time.
I found Bitcoin Launchpad news on Marcopay local channel, it's a strategy, we don't know the end, let's see.

Found them on Bitcoin launchpad news has nothing to show that they are legit going about their offers of 50% discount. Even looking at their social media accounts seem they're trying to get more likes to achieve their hidden agenda. Any project  that's truly trustworthy in this industry will not buy fakes likes on their social medias. Although am not against the project but the approach to make it hype, as hype in this industry will always lead a project to be called a scam project.

It's a dubious offer when somebody says that they will be selling bitcoin at 50% discount. I think there are actual offers like this but it doesn't go at that much rate because it's too cheap.
Apply the too good to be true belief and don't believe everything when it's doubtful.

I don't think that there would really be someone who would fall for this trick.
8K retweet and 9K likes doesn't really seem's big if you'll ask me there are so many fake accounts so this could easily be done by them.
And for newbie's I don't really think that they would easily be tricked by that who would even believe it?

Believed me, many have already fallen into this net set by these scammers to the look of things. I saw their airdrop but never participated in the airdrop because I looked into their social medias handles and fond they are inactive then, but currently  their social medias handles have been boosted by these same newbies. Their are obvious projects out there which are very clear that they are potential scam projects but yet investors still fall for their scam project. Though, fallen today for these scammers are lessons against tomorrow.

It still proves that there are so many people that are still interested in the airdrop. Well, it is so hyped and this what should make us more careful when participating in the airdrop. I'm curious about what kind of project it is (was).

they announced they are going to sell Bitcoin at a 50% discount to celebrate the halving.
No comment about this, just want to laugh  Grin
It seems very suspicious and strange offering a super duper teasing and tantalizing program. Of course, their target is "newbies" and greedy people who want to get the maximum profit with the smallest capital.

Be careful of any kind of scams. Now, many scammers use new methods to deceive the victims to be. It is important not to believe easily in that kind of program. Doing more research and gaining more information is very important to avoid the scam.

Buying bitcoin at half of the current's price is very suspicious. People should know that such kind of promo is almost non existent as you can't find that kind of deal if the deal is really legit. I hope people will do some digging before buying this too-good-to-be-true promo for bitcoin. Are they going desperate why they are offering that kind of discount?
