I hope that no one will believe in this crazy idea of selling bitcoin 2 times cheaper than its price. most likely it can end very badly and many people will lose their money. warn all your friends not to believe such announcements.

This isn't something new because I've seen something similar before. A popular exchange, Binance, once organized something like this early this year. Trade & Share to Win a Chance to Buy BTC at a 50% Discount!. But in Marco pay's condition, they didn't share much info like terms and conditions because I don't seem to to find it.

No single person is going to fall for that trick, belief me, if I were you, once they bring this up I won't bother with such project again, it's likely to be 100% scam

Yes, no one gonna fall for this sureshot scam, I believe crypto people are not that fool anymore to fall in this scam. But yet there are many newbie people came for the halving hype, they can fall in this scam too as I saw some streaming scams worked in scammers favor. I really wondered by seeing the scammer's unique plans for scamming. Maybe we need to spread more words to make awareness in the crypto space.
Newbies can still fall for this kind of scam, since they are not aware of it since they are an easy target,

as you have said those people came because of the hype of halving, it is true. That is also the reason why they always fell for scam, they just go with the trend and believe every unrealistic promises they encounter, even if we spread more awareness or warnings about this kind of scam, if they just skipped all those warnings, it will be pointless.

It is just inevitable to find some people fall into traps like this. Sometimes I just try to imagine:
Who does that?
Who gives out such a huge amount for a giveaway?

We just need to think before taking some steps, else there will continue to be more victims.
Scammers can do anything to see people fall prey of their shady deals. They would have found a way to ensure that their projects are well hyped so that people can be more convinced.
I thought we would all have known of all these, but it seems so some people are still learning.

Last week, I found an airdrop project in Telegram called Marco Protocol, the airdrop looked decent at the first stage, I earned 200 MAPC tokens and that was instant! But you only can withdraw from your MAP wallet when Airdrop program will end, that's good, I am okay with it. Their airdrop tweet got 8K retweet and 9K likes, so, you can understand how hype it had!
But yesterday, they announced they are going to sell Bitcoin at a 50% discount to celebrate the halving. Can you imagine? 1 Bitcoin price is 8600 USD, people can buy by 4300$! I believe This is absolutely scam but many newbies already have fallen for that! As they saw MAPC has huge support in twitter, and they listed on CMC too.

9k likes and 8k retweets can be generated easily. So you must not believe this kind of thing. Always check the information of the airdrop manager if he or she is a legitimate or not. You can basically tell it depends on their background. Analyze every situation before doing such things like this one. Be careful because there are a lot of scammers as of now.

As for you, what are your favorites, talking about current progress and plans? Mine is Get protocol for setting new standards on ticketing industry and blockchain. In few words, GET Protocol offers a blockchain-based smart ticketing solution that can be used by anybody who wants to sell tickets in an honest and transparent way. And just imagine how large market is and how solution can help here. Also, for example, GET team announced that they are moving into the Korean market. On top of that, GET Protocol will be the first BApp in the ticketing vertical to partner with Klaytn, the blockchain subsidiary of Kakao (look that name up if you don't know it..). And around 300k tickets are sold already via GET. This is the amazing example of real solution that brings real benefits. And I also recommend you to have a closer look at their website to have a better understanding

If someone falls for this kind of stupid scams, then I am sorry to say, they deserve to get scammed. At least they won't be greedy or quick to jump into a fishy offer in the future. They will think twice before claiming such offers.
It may sound stupid for us who are already in this space long enough, but not for newbies because a 50% discount is typical to celebrate holidays for various goods and services. That said, these scammers are criminals who prevent cryptocurrencies from being widely used by everyday people. There is a strong probability that the victims wouldn't touch crypto anymore, and they could spread negative things about cryptocurrencies. This situation is terrible for everyone except for the scumbags.
Lots of bitcoin users are spreading awareness to provide newbies with information of what promotions they should avoid. It is stupid enough to fall for this kind of scam that everyone keeps on spreading, they should also realize that having a huge discount or if the promotion is far from reality is one way to confirm if it is a scam or not.

It is quite strange when they make a project to make money, but they themselves give a big discount on the price of bitcoin. however, if they are tempted by this, they will buy it. however, I think this is very strange, selling bitcoin at a 50% discount to celebrate halving. LOL, almost everyone holds bitcoin to celebrate halving. he is definitely one of the richest people in the world  Roll Eyes

There's probably a guy named marco sitting alone in his room and making all these announcements and acting like he's the head dev, admin, social media promoter, front end programmer, he's all of it. I saw projects like that where 1 or 2 guys do it all and pose as a "team of crypto enthusiasts backed by angel investors" Cheesy

Nobody will give you anyuthing of value for free. If they're saying you can buy BTC 50% cheaper from them it's a scam. Later they'll probably say that the bitcoin was 50% cheaper compared to halving so after halving it's going to be at 17 thousand USD so now they'll sell you at 8.5 - and you got it for half the price. What I would say, the thing that makes sense is prospects and value of every solution. For example, talking about me, I am impressed with what ThreeFold is offering. Threefold network is the biggest decentralized grid of self-managing Internet capacity in the world that is being built collectively by an inclusive ecosystem and owned by everyone. The mission is to expand the current Internet to all areas of the world and to allow everyone to use this Internet at a fraction of its current price

I've also seen this one, in fact, a friend of mine told me about this airdrop, but I didn't do the task they are requiring for everyone before they send the airdrop.

Their airdrop tweet got 8K retweet and 9K likes, so, you can understand how hype it had!

This is not surprising at all, since we all wanted "free" money from shitcoins, that is why many people do the required task just to receive the airdrop. But it is still too early to suspect them, they seems legit, but who knows until they show their true colors.

But yesterday, they announced they are going to sell Bitcoin at a 50% discount to celebrate the halving. Can you imagine? 1 Bitcoin price is 8600 USD, people can buy by 4300$! This is the part where it is so fishy, I mean, selling bitcoin with a 50% discount is too much generosity of them, no, let me take that back, we all know that that is too good to be true. It is like they are burning profits for what? fame? I don't think so. I don't see any reasons at all that the mere hype would bring them to the summit of success.

we should not be lured by a big enough discount, what else is discounted by BTC up to 50%, to Retweet 8K and like 9K they could use bots to get it. we should not be tempted by the discounts they provide, it is better before investing we should look for information about the project.

Lmao, this is really sad. Do you really think they will be selling bitcoin at 50% rate? They would just end up crashing the market. The offer already sounds too good to be true. That's too good to be true, who does that? No such thing as free money, you gotta work for it, once I see such offer I walk away without thinking about it, this is new year, scammers will do their best to fool us
Exactly, fraudsters will consistently look for other ways to deceive people. The problem is people do not analyze the result of their actions, that is why they end up falling into scam. They think that it was a great opportunity, but they don't realize that it can be one of the approaches by the fraudster to exploit their funds. It is the reason why we should be cautious because some offers are made to delude us. We must check everything especially when money is involved, so we can avoid getting victimized by scammers.

You should never let yourself easily be trick by these kind of scammers because most of the time scammers always promotes this kind of promises that are too good to be true just to get some attention from beginners, that is why sometimes we should help some newbies about this kind of scheme for them not to fall for this.
