Don't hate your self because the value of coins was not stable and not only you who bought when the value was high even me i dissapointed but i all understand when my friend explain to me the proper and it is normal and i continue to search and read and i understand so im not worrying and i know soon it will rise again.
You’re same as like me. I’m trying to make a little investment, but I bought when my alt coins in the higher price. I have decided to hold them until I’m get profit from my investment. I’m just think to buy again now when the market is still low but I have no money for that

But unfortunately, I don't think prices will come near 20.000$ anytime soon.Unpredicatble? Yes. But that doesn't mean the price will be back at 20K or even close in the coming months. Almost zero chance. I mean, we had a 70% crash, usually (historically) such things are followed by a major bear market, or a sideways movement, which would be the most optimistic scenario. Yes, this is crypto, but wake up and smell the coffee, guys, the bull market is OVER. Not trying to FUD, as I also bought a couple of coins near ATHs, and my plan for the nearest future is to just hodl.

Well you have two choices, which is to be very patient for the market to recover (it always does). Or you can cut your losses buy buying right now at the bottom of the market and guarantee a profit. Don't bother with checking the price every few minutes, even days. Just relax and wait for better times.
There was a spike and big drop right after, it happened many times before so I think it is absolutely possible for it to happen once more.
Don't panic and take it as a lesson for the future. I'm sure there are plenty of people like you, that's why we see this huge "sale"

Well it at some time like that but not to everyone because one need to be extraordinary careful when it come to investment. Ad i usually advise some of my friends about investment in crypto currency that they should only invest what they can afford to lose in some case's because investing all your life savings in a single investment opportunities maybe dangerous if the market move against you. I don't know why you pay premium for the coins but to be sincere nobody is sure where the top price is, but don't let that discourage you, those that bought BTC when the price was $1000 and later went to $200 would have be concerned the way you are now, I hope you didn't invest all your money into this, because there are alot of great buy in the market currently
Some high prices are making people stressful because they buy on ATH and then they wonder when the price will recover. This is the main reason why they're this much worried about the loss.

I think you just need to be patient and you should know that there are also a lot of people bought all time high like you. You just need to keep holding and wait until the huge dump over and the whole market rise back again. Maybe the price that you bought will become the lowest price all the time of the coin you bought. LOL.
That has never happened to me, thankfully! So I can feel your pain. Then again, minus December 2017 so far, if anyone bought Bitcoin at ATH they would be very happy. So the same when ETH and LTC made their ATHs. If you have half a belief in crypto, then you should just hold for the ones that you like (as in project), cut losses on the ones you don't and put the proceeds into a basket of some you think will have strength in 1 or 2 years. Then forget about trading and hold.
These last ATHs will look very low later this year so do not sweat it! Buy more at these low prices if
you have spare cash.

Trust me, you are not the only one, that is what made it an ATH!!! Now you have to HODL, and wait for the next ATH, which there will be. Just remember that any coin you buy should have a long term future. If you are buying for day trading, then the rule is always buy low and sell high, but for long term holds, you just have to wait for the price to pick back up.
