Yes, ICO is definitely good tool to increase your returns from cryptomarket, especially in bear market as now. Just be careful with your choice. Look for the projects with real products and background. If theirs idea is not clear for you and you can not imagine how it will work in the future - stay away. Good luck!

I'm sure that most of forum members will advice you to invest your 5 ETH in several ICOs to decrease risks of loosing all you money. But I would say that that 5 ETH is not so big deposit to divide it into parts. Imagine that you invested 1 ETH in ICO and got 3x in return. So you profit in only 2 ETH. It's obvious that the more you invest the more profit you can get. So just be very careful when selecting an ICOs, choose only the best and take your profit!

Perhaps you can see the ICO movement on ICObench, there are many projects that might make you interested in investment. I personally also see the development of ICO sales from Enlte there and enlte website. Maybe you can start looking at the project you want. Just hold your coins for this month because ethereum coins is currently down $500 dollars and in order for you not to lose a huge amount of investments then the best thing to do is just hold your coins and wait for its price to increase again.

I can risk only 20% of my ethereums in a ICO project. The rest should be staying as ethereum or bitcoin so that you will be allright in a scam situation. You can't 100% trust an ICO. Some portion of your money should be okay.

I would advise that you do not invest all 5 ETH in one ICO. Its better to hold some ETH and spend the rest on a few good ICOs. My ICO recommendation would be DIW Token.
