Well, it is horrible if you really lost a lot of money, but you got the experience, and probably it is gonna help you in the future, dealing with crypto currency.
But not all ICOs like that. There is still a legitimate ICO and ended with success. If you are still hesitant to invest in ICO, you should become a bounty participant.
I do not know why you chose these projects, I earned several thousand dollars on the ICO for the last half year. You just invest in the wrong projects.
I'd like to say if you find a coin that has high potential in results with the popularity and newly found cryptocurrency it really will not surprise me to achieve a very high price. and maybe to become a millionaire with only a few hundred dollars if you find a good coin.
I dont believe like you almost all of the ico but sometimes there is good icos like quarkchain or sparkster, team advisor project averything is perfect and there is big hype, so I like this projects and icos.
I simply read the whitepapers more attentively and understand the potential of the project. I think you have entered into without in-depth study WPs, teams and roadmaps
It is difficult to predict ico that will do well. because we just remembered about the bonus given by the ico. if you want to follow ico, just find out about their profile, the mission behind the project and also references from world famous bitcoin info figures. now more and more new ico emerging, and this is what we should be aware and note to see the project whether successful or not. hopefully you get a good profit
This is one aspect about crypto. Decisions are highly personalized because the activities are so many. It could be that you were unlucky and you joined those ICOs, but to be true with you there are people who have made extremely huge profits out of ICOs, perhaps possibly due to the fact that their luck always shine
I think the fault is not on the ICO will but from the people who are behind the ICO. Of course, before you join the ICO, you should perform a check against the ICO project. I think you lack the ICO to do research so you are stuck in a project ICO scam and I hope you don't give up.
Don't blame ICO for this. There are many people which serious to run their project also there are many project which can be success in the future.
The problem of choosing the right one for investment is the most important problem for any investor. If you invest money in an asset that has no potential, then no matter how much you wait, you will never get a profit.
There is too much ICOs projects handle by teams of members that is very unprofessional, they always seems to avoid answering the investors questions whenever there is some issues with tokens distribution and the manager in charge of the telegram could just easily remove and block you from their telegram chat, I would advise investors to take extra precaution when they are planning to invest into ICOs projects.
99% of ICO's are scam. I got,involved in few and the only one i got a so so profit is $CS, everything else was crap. Be careful of coin shillers on YT and twitter, they are all rats.
I think you have chosen the wrong time to invest in ICO. Bitcoin and Ethereum are not affected by this problem, it is a cyclical market. If you want to invest in ico next, I think it is a good time to start, as the market has started recovering, the ico on the floor will appreciate.
I think that this ICO you invested in was not good enough, at least I wouldn't invest in any of them. Of course now there are a lot of ICO, and a lot of them are scam. It is very difficult for any investor to understand which of them are really promising.
Investing in ICO is more risky than investing in altcoins, but ICO gives your more profit if they are successful, if you don't believe in ICO's then you should invest in altcoins.

I am not surprised that the author of this thread is disappointed by faults of ICO projects. Nothing strange. We all know yet that startup projects are risky but startup projects in cryptocurrencies are much more risky.
Instead of stereotyping the entire ICO market, I think you should question your buying choices. The coins you mentioned were not even worth investing and a price drop was going to come sooner or later. So, you didn't use your judgement correctly
there are so many ICO now,which ico good and which ico bad,which ICO can grow up with good team and which ICO can't grow up because the team only make ICO to collect your money and don't want develop project,if you invest good project,each month they send mail with update and the group has admin support for you and everyone,i think this is good project and they don;t want abadon investor,you should wait t end roadmaps,the roadmaps need time to complete the system
All project here has their own ICO like airdrop and bounty how could you say that you cannot trust anymore in the whole ICOs here? Not all Ico are both not profitable, there are some good ICO and some are not successful for many reason, that is why those ICO are not profitable to those participants and investors.
