You probably will become millionare in the next for or five years. People who can get million profit in crypto is only holder and they never see their portofolio before 3 or 4 years. They are investor not flipper. I also did the same thing buy token on ico or buy existing coin which i believe it have a good potential increasing price then i forget it by putting it in my cold / off line wallet ( trezor / ledger nano )

I agree with you. We have the same principle. I do not even check what the bitcoin or altcoin price because the market price of cryptos doesn't matter to me. The reason is because what matter most is its price in the future. I planned to keep my bitcoins and altcoin for a long period of time. Its price now is merely became part of the history after 2 or 3 years and I believe that by time, the bitcoin and altcoin price is much higher compared to its value today.

I also believe that bitcoin is the future of currency so, why should I worry? There is nothing to worry about because I am very optimistic about bitcoin future.

A skill that only few have, I'll even say that I personally can't even do this. It's tough to just forgot about all of the money that you've thrown at something and let time do it's course, but if you want to make it in the world of crypto (or any investment) you're going to have to let time to just that.

Don't let FUD and news stories sway you, just let it ride folks. Plus, you shouldn't be investing with any money that you can't lose. So whatever you put into crypto should be accounted as being lost already.

So what you are ultimately trying to tell ,are you shocked on seeing the price of ETH coming down by half in the past weeks or you are telling that you were here from the beginning and so you are holding plenty of coins at a cheap price and you wish to hold for the long term,but i do have a funny thought from your thread here,if you really do not bother about the current market why would you brag about it here,just to inform others you have a big portfolio . I do watch the prices daily because I do alot of trading. If you are a long term holder, there is no reason to constantly check the prices. you will only be stressing yourself out. Never panic, crypto is here to stay and can't be stopped. the total market will be trillions in due time.

The price of ETH has taken a big dive in the past few weeks and with the correction in the entire market it is a good opportunity to invest for the long term,there are good tokens which could give you a good reap in the near future and i really think that this is the best period to invest,i am not asking anyone to invest all your money now,the market will go up and down till the regulations talks are finalized and during these periods is the best period if you wanted to make a portfolio of the best tokens.

Im already coming to a point on where i have deleted already my app blockfolio on checking out prices since there are really coins which are really worth to hold on for long term and seeing them actively specially on reds will really tempt you out to sell out to cut loss.I know the feeling that you are really persevered but you cant avoid the times that you are too worried deep inside.

I liked your question. I will try to answer it.

First, I wouldn't say its faith. I believe in the fundamentals.

I think there are 3 things that makes me feel comfortable now, even in a bearish market:

90% of my cryptocurrency portfolio is Bitcoin and Ethereum. Those are the market leaders. They cover the most promissory technology, the best teams, over 70% os market share. They are something like the blue-chips.
I didn't buy some smallcap coins to pump 1000% in 2 months and now holding bags and praying.
I only invested what I can afford to lose. I don't wanna lose it, but I am not over-invested. This is very important. I was over-invested once, and could barely sleep. Even believing in the fundamentals, this market volatility is too high and everyone has a limit. I am not in my limit, so I can live with this volatility.
Long-term objective.
In whatever market you are investing, even on a stock market, if you are on the accumulation phase, or if you are in for the long run, the best thing you can wish for is a bear market.
But if you want to swing trade, if your goal is short-term, that's a different story. I am not a good trader, so I just hodl.

Indeed, many people invest in crypto for the sake of profit, not to the technology they own. And with a long term investment in crypto I'm sure you will not fail. I think crypto is the essential technology of the future.

I found it funny when you shares your thought about of how you're going to handle your investment even if the odds are against it. I guess it will help you to get your pace back while practicing your patience to hold more longer, despite of this bearish type of market. Goodluck on that investment in a year!

It is a good thing that you are thinking positively about your investments in the cryptocurrency market, however you are wrong. You must care about the prices right now as even though you are looking to cash out your investments in the future you can still take advantage of the prices right now. And what I mean about that is you can do buy and sell, where you sell at its highest price and buy it again at a lower price. The effect is you are increasing your position as you are adding more and more quantities of cryptocurrencies in the process.

This is how we should teach for the new investors mentally/emotionally at this trying days and they should learn the strategy that profiteers is doing the right way.. We have the same thinking in terms of cryptocurrency. I also don’t look on the present price because I choose to hold my portfolio for the long term. Right now is the best time for buying more crypto because of low price. As of the moment trading is the most difficult task to do due to volatility. And because of this I will not suggest to do trading.
