I am with you on this. Even if you make money with day trading, it still sucks. Big time. Or may be it's just me, because I may have ADHD.

Even though much profit can be made. And i did a bit. But truth is... i dont like it. It gives me a weird unpleasant feeling. Because to me its just swapping air if all u buy and sell for is money. I love crypto and to me it feels like daytrading is raping it. Ur not really standing behind the idea and product anymore. Im not hating on daytraders or anything. Just doesnt seem my thing. I allways had the same in poker, taking lunchmoney and the game is what its about to me. Whenever i played higher stakes it just didnt felt right and even when i won a nice bit it even depressed me.
I think day trading can make you super emotional at first because you are preying on the highs and lows and really upset if you don't hit your target. Obviously, the goal is to let go of emotions, so weekly/monthly/HODLs makes that a lot easier. I tried day trading and I sucked, I was better off holding from the lower range I bought at :/

Really, ive been taking profits. Shifting positions. Forking. Ive gained, but still... its trading air really and my OP still holds truth.... im just gonna leave it as it is now really. I dont care anymore if the price drops. Or trying to time the market. I converted into eth sunday and bagged it to coinbase ready to cash out and that is that. While doing so eth gained quite some as well. So all good, but i just gonna hodl. U cant ride every train.
in my opinion, daily trading is just suitable with people who has much technical skill and huntting news skill. Therefore, you should shift to invest in good coin in long term such as ETH, Bitcoin, Litecoin...

I think you want to have pride in what you do. Daytrading is like pump and dump and it's something you can't be proud on yourself. That's a good decision because we need people like you that are the real supporters of cryptocurrencies.

I think you want to have pride in what you do. Daytrading is like pump and dump and it's something you can't be proud on yourself. That's a good decision because we need people like you that are the real supporters of cryptocurrencies.
Same like me, I dont like day trade because need full time, good skill in technical analysis and good psikologis. For trader does not have all that thing much better doing swing trading, buy now and hold a few month and choosed coin that has strong in fundamental. This way can be promising big profit and less time to do it.
Well dude i strongly agree with you, day trading is need to be full time in trading need electricity consumption and highly risk earning way.
And also need technical skills and strategies to be a good trader. However still i don't want in day trader it cause a lot of time, effort and also emotional intense.
Why should i make busy my life with day trading there's other way to earned by investing less risk and time consumed.
It will definitely double up your profits and cover all the loses you will make in the trade. Selling the bitcoin is not at all advisable until it has fulfilled your target.

If you don't like it just leave it and try to find the best for you, simple. Don't push too hard it will kill you slowly and make you loss your profit. We can say many reason about day trading but I believe most people living from that strategy. They like because not only from profit because they really understand what is it. Hope you change your strategy because crypto world still profitable, good luck to you.
Day trading only for trader that have full time to analysis the market and the charting, can be 12 hours aday, because we doing buy and sell many time in aweek. And also day trading only for people who can control the emotion and not greedy person. If can not doing this all thing for the better just hold Bitcoin and Ethereum for longterm investment.

I now also do not like trading for short periods. Why did I do this in December? You could buy the top any top 15 coins and then sell each with a profit x2-x8. And instead I traded and got 20-50% from deals. Has spent a lot of nerves, forces and time. But, who knew that there would be such a pump.but for people who only depend on trading to earn money and he has a good skill in trading, he will do day trading and I am sure he can make a profit. I can say this because some of my friends do this and he tells although sometimes it is difficult, he can find a good target of coin to trade and he can earn some profit. I don't know how he can do that but he really makes it a day trading and until now he can earn the profit.

i totally agree with the op.
there seems to be a massive focus on trading crypto and less on the actual technology.
it looks like some people dont really care about crypto instead its about what they can get out of it.

If someone has $3000 in their stock brokerage account, there is no way they will make any decent money by holding stocks long term.
Even if they buy a stock that ends up doubling in a year, they will only make $3000 profit and need to wait a year.
When you day trade you take 1-2% everyday and your account grows daily. Its stressful but its the only way to make decent money.

daily trading must have a high skill to analyze the market situation and analyze the existing charts, if there is no stock it will be required trading is actually very risky.
