Sometimes bounty could fucked you up cuz scam, or sometimes it gives you a huge benefit and profit just for doing few things. Some airdrop using pump bot to pump the prices and bait the investor to invest to those coins. That's nice to see you are luck with your choice.
My best airdrop brought me 1 ether. It seems like it was a YELLOW token))). All the others brought no more than one ether. already a month 3 did not participate.
I would say you are a really very lucky person to be able to earn $3500 from one airdrop, most of the airdrops nowadays are giving out low amount of ERC 20 tokens due to the huge number of participants taking part in the free airdrop, so it is hard to find a airdrop that would reap so much profit.

airdrop that are legit are very rare nowadays. Not sure though if there's a way to find if it's real. I've joined polymath airdrop and I got 250 coins and it's costing $1.22 not bad right?

I participated in the first airdrop IOP (internet of people) and with 500 token iop I received 2200 hydra .. that I sold in the exchange on the discord and from which I got 450 IOP .... with a gain of over 90% doing nothing. Tonight, the second airdrop closes the second airdrop and tomorrow another part
what a lucky drop. it is true that there is money over trashes. i once own tron 500 from an airdrop and sold it at its peak and guess what? i have money for trading. that is why i love recieving airdop tokens.

I never truly made more than $5 from airdrops as most of them don't even pay single dime : D But I think market reaction to airdrops is very nice so, its great to make your wallet grow with filling it tokens given by airdrops...
All i've received from all the aidrops that i've applied for is 5 OCN ( worth 0.10$ ).So you're lucky that you have received even 5$ for an airdrop
Airdrop is like gambling because they are really unpredictable. you need to join more of them in order to make a real profit because if you only join a few , there are chances that you wont recieved your rewards or maybe the price of the coin is verry low. doing a quick research regarding on their projects can also help you identify the worth one but it takes time to do it. Therfor if your a lazy guy like me , much better if you can just join them all.
I would really prefer bounties rather than airdrops. We can be sure that these will be steady source of income as long as we are hardworking enough to be able to participate and do all those tasks.

Ripple has jumped from penny value to a good highs which make many investors jumpr for joy because they HODL their XRP. HODL and if you see team are serious then you would know there is wealth in your HODLed coins.
So far earn nothing from airdrop, earn a lot of artisturba from their 5,000,000 coins distribution program, if it ever go up in price to $1 I am making $5K its looks likely will surpassed that because the crowdsale price is 1ETH per 2K Artis tokens so there is chance it will reach 1USD per token when it hit exchanger, but maybe keeping it for long time is better option because you can earn perpetual recurring revenue from the revenue sharing program they conducted, probably keeping it and earn the 50% revenue sharing would be much better
