If you can hold for the long term I would suggest you invest in few good altcoins for long-term and forgot it. I am sure like this you will make a good amount of money...

I will say only one thing is necessary to keep them at any cost. Soon, perhaps at the turn of the 18 months BITCOIN will be worth 75-100 thousand dollars. So keep them and become a millionaire. You can of course now investing a bunch of money into promising altcoins. 10 but now you must train to keep. Market alcaino too addicted, he can at any moment fall into the abyss and then recover for several years.
Better you about these 3 bitcoin to forget for 24 months and then remove them I get $ 1.5 million

You must be very good at trading sir. I would suggest that hold 80% of your bitcoin and then split the rest into half to buy a promising coin in an ICO and the other half to buy altcoins that are dirt cheap right now.

Safe investor strategy 50% in BTC 30% in Altcoins 10% fix profit in fiat like USD (not USDT) 10% for manipulation on exchange. Just use it and watch for your PROFIT! Good luck!
I also agree the safest step emang is 50% of BTC strategy 30% Altcoins 10% improve profit in fiat as USD (not USDT) 10% for manipulation on the Exchange. is a good way for investors

buy and buy Smiley bitcoin does not happen much, in addition, they promise correction, but it's better to buy the air, the most promising coin.

I have 12 Bitcoins. I am not a whale. I started about 6 months ago with 0.01 Bitcoins and $1000. I turned it into 12 Bitcoins so far and am pretty proud to say the least.

My question is, what do I do now?

As far as I can see, I have 4 options;

1) Hold the Bitcoin

2) Invest in altcoins and leave a little in Bitcoin

3) Fund a project and start my own cryptocurrency that solves a problem that current currencies face (scalability, Tx fees etc.). With the funds, I would be able to assemble a team, start a marketing campaign, get listed on exchanges etc. I am also a programmer which helps.

4) Convert it to fiat (probably the dumbest idea)

Edit: I should also add, I dropped out of school and have all the time in the world so can fully commit to any idea. I will earn my living of cryptocurrencies.

A few people have asked how I made my money so, if you are interested, here is a short summary:

Initially, I put it all into Bitcoin during the massive FUD of the fork around June when Bitcoin dipped to $1,900. Then I put half my money into NEO before all of the hype at around $12 and cashed out at $40. Then I invested in a couple ICO's and turned a pretty good profit of off the hype. After that, I got back in on NEO as soon as China announced the regulations regarding ICO's and rode the wave back from around $20 to $40 (I can't quite remember). Then, I rode the hype of Ethereum Dark, eBitcoin and a few other airdrop scams. Finally, I got in on Wincoin before it got to coinmarketcap and turned a 20x profit.

Ok here what I would do.

1.Discover all free forks you already obtained like BCH or BCG and sell them (with 12 btc you have plenty of extra money if you didnt know)
2.Invest 10 of them in most promising alts
3.Leave 2 of them for hodl , and DO NOT even think about fiat.

buy lambo. [joking]

I think it is reasonable to keep some percent in ETH cause it will be much bigger than BTC.

HODL

Buy low sell high - this is how you can get back to 12 BTC after investing in ETH without any losses.

try to convert 50% of it to some altcoin like ethereum,
because i can sense that mid december BTC will fall.
then when btc falls try to buy it again using the 50% that you converted
into Eth.

so you will gain good profit from it.

I would say to put something like 33% on good alt-coins, such as Ether (the top ones).

This way, even if a flippening occurs, you'll not be scared to lose value.

And put around ~17% on promising project, but be extremely careful while chosing these : take your time, even if it takes months to select these, remember how much value you have on your portfolio  Tongue

Anyway currently, don't sell anything in fiat, even if a big correction could happen in the next months, I'm thinking this general uptrend could still last for years...

I suggest you hold your bitcoins because as you can see bitcoins value now is about 11k$. In you 12 bitcoin you must be one of the richest people. Of you want to invest just leave your bitcoin half of it so that if something bad happen with your decisions by selling some of your bitcoin, at least you still have one.

Well there's a really big risk if your holding that 12 bitcoin, but i think you're really good in trading that you made it that big just starting with a small amount how about you try to continue what you're doing since you're really good at it, the project seems good too since you're a programmer but i think it is a much bigger risk i mean if you make your own there's a 50/50 chance that it will succeed or not so better hold some of it and save some of it just in case.
