Sell 2 Bitcoins (about $ 20k atm) in order to buy strong altcoins. Hold the other 10 BTC in a hardware wallet and leave it there for at least 2 years. This would be the easiest way. You can also establish a crypto company/product, but this have to be unique. This way you have to work really hard.

Nice job for that.
You should continue what you have started or just double your effort if you want to double your bitcoin.
If you want to take a risk, why not try to invest and buy other coins?
You should partition your BTC when you are going to take a venture in order to avoid a great lost when something went wrong.

Hodl onto 4 BTC. Invest 6 BTC in XRP at $0.19-$0.21, LTC at $50-$75, ETH at under $350 and NEO/GAS.

The last 2 BTC invest and create a platform to teach people your way of turning your initial investment into 12 BTC in a short time frame of 6 months and charge for the service.

I think you should spend the profits you are collecting into something else, always better to diversify than to have all your eggs in one basket, for example bitcoin dropped 20%, it is still worth a lot but that 20% kick has to hurt.

Suggest you to trade with, maybe getting an automated bot for the current exchangers like Gunthar Bot.
Because if you don't have the right skills to became a good trader, you should get a robot that does the job for you.
Buying low and selling high seems the right way to earn more bitcoins with your current amount of BTC without investment.

If I were you, I will just hold on it. Now is not the best time to dump some of your bitcoin. If you have plans to dump a couple, you should have done it when bitcoin tops $11K, now the price is dropping very fast at $9K. So you have no choice but to continue and hold and just watch your profit grow as it touches above $10K. If you have plans though to dump it, at least dump at above $10K.

And when you dump a few, you can invest to altcoins such as ETH. I can also speak for ETH because that's the only altcoin I have, I have dump most of may shitcoins and take home the profit.

It's not the time to sell bitcoins. The price goes down. May be reached 8600 soon. No need to worry. This is how the crypto-currency market develops. After correction, there will definitely be a takeoff

That's what I'm trying to explained. There has been a dumping, so continue to hold. And we all know what will happen next after this dumping. Bitcoin will again go up and even higher as its previous highs.

Hold on to it. If you are ready to take some risks, then sell 1 or 2 and invest into some altcoins. Best of luck!

I have 12 Bitcoins. I am not a whale. I started about 6 months ago with 0.01 Bitcoins and $1000. I turned it into 12 Bitcoins so far and am pretty proud to say the least.

My question is, what do I do now?

Just keep doing the things what you did for the last six months because you made a huge profit from that small investment so you don't look for another idea. And just hold that bitcoin in your hardware wallet for some more years and it will give huge profits.

My question is, what do I do now?

As far as I can see, I have 4 options;

1) Hold the Bitcoin

2) Invest in altcoins and leave a little in Bitcoin

3) Fund a project and start my own cryptocurrency that solves a problem that current currencies face (scalability, Tx fees etc.). With the funds, I would be able to assemble a team, start a marketing campaign, get listed on exchanges etc. I am also a programmer which helps.

4) Convert it to fiat (probably the dumbest idea)

Edit: I should also add, I dropped out of school and have all the time in the world so can fully commit to any idea. I will earn my living of cryptocurrencies.

A few people have asked how I made my money so, if you are interested, here is a short summary:

Initially, I put it all into Bitcoin during the massive FUD of the fork around June when Bitcoin dipped to $1,900. Then I put half my money into NEO before all of the hype at around $12 and cashed out at $40. Then I invested in a couple ICO's and turned a pretty good profit of off the hype. After that, I got back in on NEO as soon as China announced the regulations regarding ICO's and rode the wave back from around $20 to $40 (I can't quite remember). Then, I rode the hype of Ethereum Dark, eBitcoin and a few other airdrop scams (after bribing a few of the devs, I got massive discounts in comparison to market prices and drove the volume up on their respective markets to get them listed on coinmarketcap which catapulted their price). Finally, I got in on Wincoin before it got to coinmarketcap and turned a 20x profit.

Wow you are a very lucky guy and a bery hardworking one. You are very smart person you are absolutely a millionaire today because the value of a bitcoin today is $10k dollars so if you do the math you have a 1.2 million dollars and you must share your knowledge and strategic ways on how you acquire that in just a short amount of time because people might look up to you as their inspiration and it depends to you actually what will you do about it of you are going to built your own business or just continue bitcoins.

So you have purposely influenced markets, made shady deals, and you managed to "pump" the market (manipulate it once again) to get it on coinmarketcap as part of your shady package deal.

Please do not make a coin ever, you're untrustworthy, and in the case of the airdrop coins you and that dev have just been "stealing" other people's money by portraying those markets like something they were not. You guys only didn't steal it directly, but you conned every one of those people into buying just to get better from it yourselves.

The current 12 bitcoin is a huge asset. In my opinion, you should divide your capital into several parts to have the best investment and reduce risk. You can sell a bitcoin in dollars to spend, the rest you can buy the discount altcoin, the rest you can refer to the ICO project.

You are already rich on that 12 bitcoin there are many possible ways to use that! you can hold some of that for long term goals and you can buy another altcoins to trade or to hold also! I can't say that you must hold it for a long time because we people are using money for our daily needs, just invest some and hold some of it.
