I think you are good in holding in bitcoin or you are good in trading. You get high profits buy trading in bitcoin. Why you dont trade in other coins so you more profit too.  But dont get all of your bitcoin just get only, I think 1brc for trading in other coins, then that 1btc can get more profits too. I think you can get a good bussiness too you can achieve your dreams by spending some of your bitcoin too.

i suggest you to invest only 2 bitcoins(it's a large amount) and hold 10 bitcoins.

and don't forget: spend only what you can afford to lose.

1. You should teach us how to do it, because you profitability is higher than most of us here!
2. If I were you, I will keep some BTC aside, and use the rest to continue to speculate, and to get higher return;
3. Cash out some to enjoy life!

I think if you have 12 bitcoin. You must invest all of your bitcoin to buy bitcoin again and make your bitcoin double ( if you can make from 12 bitcoin to 24 bitcoin) with trading or mining.   if you can do it .i swear you can got rich and you can invest your bitcoin to whatever do you want.

I think you must invest 75% to bitcoin and hold it. And then 35% invest in altcoin who you believe make you profit a lot. It just my opinion

Spread it on promising altcoins, I don't think the next 5 - 10 for btc will be good.
Then hold the altcoins until they reach their potential.

I have 12 Bitcoins. I am not a whale. I started about 6 months ago with 0.01 Bitcoins and $1000. I turned it into 12 Bitcoins so far and am pretty proud to say the least.

My question is, what do I do now?

As far as I can see, I have 4 options;

1) Hold the Bitcoin

2) Invest in altcoins and leave a little in Bitcoin

3) Fund a project and start my own cryptocurrency that solves a problem that current currencies face (scalability, Tx fees etc.). With the funds, I would be able to assemble a team, start a marketing campaign, get listed on exchanges etc. I am also a programmer which helps.

4) Convert it to fiat (probably the dumbest idea)

Edit: I should also add, I dropped out of school and have all the time in the world so can fully commit to any idea.
I would say its better to maintain on the thing that you did on last 6 months. Imaging starting out with less money and make it grow to 12 BTC  isnt a joke even an average person cant really make up that high.Im sure on that even investors would struggle to reach out 12 btc within 6 months with just that capital.If i were you better to continue on what you are doing. If you dont mind, whats the thing you are actually doing? Grin
Hi i should invest in altcoins half,and half stay in btc...but u can withdraw some btc if u need,but if u want to invest in longterm i wait on ur place for gla come on exchange and buy it 100% profit...and invest in ethereum,ethereum classic.

Invest in a handful of Maser Nodes.  Just need one of them to blow up to make back the profit spent.  Set up then do nothing.  EZ money.

If i have that amount brother i would go for option number 2 as that the strategy that makes you rich. By the way, seems like you are an expert or experienced guy already in this game that you are able to grow your investment. Congratulations.

I would say let's do what makes you happy but I think you want to go far from stereotypes, so best options:

2) Invest 50% altcoins and leave 50% in Bitcoin

Continue to invest in altcoins (if all you wrote is true) because it seems you know how to interpretate te market very well

3) Fund a project and start my own cryptocurrency that solves a problem that current currencies face (scalability, Tx fees etc.). With the funds, I would be able to assemble a team, start a marketing campaign, get listed on exchanges etc. I am also a programmer which helps.

Aion is an example, I love this project!

But beware, you can trade alone and you can do it great, but staring a project with other people is very different, you have to be a leader and also you have to find very good sponsors and collaborator to succeed!

good luck!

The most important rule is that money should make money. Bitcoin is already a good coin for long-term storage. But I would spend part of the amount on investing in various ICO projects. It's risky, but you can make a good income

You can divide your fund into 2 parts, a half of your fund can spend to invest in altcoins and the rest Bitcoin will keep holding. You can consider to invest good altcoin such as Ethereum, Stratis, Waves, Ripple

Buy some altcoins to back your savings. HODL in bitcoin at least 20% of the whole portfolio. And NEVER invest in ICOs that's too risky. And congrats, anyway you're rich)

I suggest that some of the bitcoin you have invested in altcoin and ICO, to get a lot of profit, and the rest of the bitcoin in the hold just until the price increases again.

It's the best you diversify your crypto holding portfolio, and keep at least 20-50% in Bitcoin regardless how many other altcoins you have included in your portfolio.
