You can't get loss untill you sell your altcoin. If you are still holding these coins than don't be worried. I I am also in big loss but I will not sell my altcoins. Hope they will recover in this year. I will hold untill I get Profit.

No body knows will it recover this year or not. But we are still far above last year price. I hope we are not entering long bearish market mode. If we did, then you will get those $8k for 2-3 years ( 2024). Yesterday crash is realy give big impact to market.

Well, the choice is to stay calm and hold back or sell it for now. there is no certainty that the price will recover this year again.

Did you sell any of your coins? If you haven't, then why are you worried? You haven't made any loss. You are still holding the same amount of coins. Why didn't you sell it when the price was high? No one knows if its going to recover this year or not. It might recover next month, or maybe after several years. Just keep holding and zone out. And you didn't lose anything. You said you broke even.
Because the market goes down, your possible profits are temporary gone but if you still able to hold it you will regain your profit soon if the market will goes up again.
The current condition makes you think that your profits was gone, but understanding the situation, you still have the same numbers of yourholding, once the market bounce back you'll see the value is there again.

Losing $8,000 is no joke at all. There are only 2 options that you need to think and that is to sell or hold. If you sell it now, you may save some but if you just hold, still not sure of the outcomes.
This gonna be a break-even, it is really hard to predict but if you have faith and trust in these coins, then holding might be good. But don't get mad as the recovery will take time.

If you are holding these coins in spot, then you don't need to worry. They will recover but you cannot say that this is not fair. This is a free trading marketplace where you can gain money and also lose money. If you are at a loss , then don't blame anyone , rather try to learn from your mistakes and avoid those in the future.
