You need to buy a little more cryptocurrency at a lower price. Then you will be able to close their positions with profit.

If you become an investor then you will have to go through and you will either lose all your money or earn. Have to wait for one of the two options.

I think this has been experienced by everyone who joined the crypto, even professional traders even experienced it, but they do not panic and still use the analysis well

Yes, FOMO pushed many people to action at the most inopportune moment. So the market is arranged. Those who succumbed to feelings, paid dearly for it. Money does not like impulsive actions. Only a cold estimation.
I just think people are focusing too much on the negative with all the exciting stuff that is actually pushing this market forward. If you believe in your investments, then it just turns into a waiting game.

It must be gutting losing half your money in crypto. I try not to log into my crypto saving accounts to often as the more I do the more exposed I feel. The world is full or hackers and scammers and the best you can do is take every precaution possible. If you bounce back from a hard loss, then all credit to your - that's the true mark of a kryptonite.

So I basically got fomoed. Towards the end of 2017 I saw how high bitcoin skyrocketed and decided to invest in ripple as a test. Less than one week it went up 3x. This made me more ballsy and I put in 11k total in various other alt coins like ripple, ethos, tron, and cardano. After the crash I lost about half of my value just like that. I am frustrated with the experience and wish I would have just put in 1k or something. I wish I could just not invested and went into what I was doing earlier which was just investing the boring and traditional way. Should I wait and hodl or pull out and do something else?

No, don't be so rush it can't help you to make your money back. If me is in your situation i should wait than panicking
Trust crypto, you already trsut crypto in the beggining you should need to trust again then you money will be back soon. Market now is going up again so be patient.

Chalk it up as an expensive lesson learned & move on. Focus on investing in strong projects & avoid buying at all time highs. If you don't fomo & you're able to hold long-term, you should see a healthy return in profits.

someone can't see the highest rise of bitcoin you just have to hold till you made your profit, for you that lost 50 percent don't give up time is coming that you make 100 percent gain

I think that the Baunists can not lose profit, because they did not invest their money in projects. so the bounty I think is 100% profit. the truth is that people always want to earn more than they have now.

You have described the events of a classical inexperienced investor. Many people who have entered this sector without experiencing or getting the opinions of a real expert are having serious problems with this problem. I hope you will close your losses in a very short time and you will be happy to see that your investment has been appreciated.

You and about a hundred thousand other people did basically the exact same thing and are going through similar pains.

There's a reason why the market shot up so much last december, it was because people like you joined the fomo train and pumped tons of money into the market.

But, I do have good news:

You actually haven't lost any money at all!

It seems like you haven't sold yet so you literally haven't lost anything.

There's even more good news!

The market is far from over! BTC will definitely reach 19k again and go beyond that.
So just hold for now, it's the safest thing to do.
Or, take the time to study the market, why it went down, what will cause it to go up again etc.
You can also research future project and alts to set yourself up to make crazy profit during the next bull run.
And it should be happening pretty soon.
Most are predicting middle to late may while others say June.
Whatever the case it definitely is coming.

Iam the same situation but i just relax and wait the market change to up trend, if you have skill and some strategy, you can trade it so the amount of money can be increasing with buy and sell many times , but if you dont have times for that and your purpose use that money for long term investment, so just hold it in minimum 1 year. In the end of 2018 the market will be growing again.

For a start, not to worry. After a sharp collapse of the market, prices began to rise last month. Just be patient and wait. I hope that by the end of 2018, you will be able to return all your money and even increase it.

Thats why you never FOMO but daily cost average. Going all in into cryptos is foolish and one should always DCA no matter how much he is hyped or FOMO'd. If you had done DCA than you would have averaged out your purchase price to something below the current price levels and would had been in the green now.

I also lost my money. At the end of last year, I did not sell the coins in my hand. Now I only have one tenth of the value. So I am worse than you. But I don't worry because I still hold them and I still have the opportunity and the future.

if you are stuck on fluctuations of coins that have no potential to return to the original price, then you should think of options to move focus to other coins and sell your coins, no need to think about losses because all decisions are dynamic and recoverable. I have a similar experience and try to become more varied again.

i invested in altcoin but it seems like the coin i pick is non moving currency... today i still hold the coin in my wallet let me wait until it moves to the top... we could do nothing here but to wait if we convert it today we will loss our money. waiting well be the best move we can do...

in my investment, its almost a month now but it seems like no happening to the coin if i will convert it back i will loss surely. so i decided to wait until the end. if it will go upward that would be great if not. thats still OK... there only two way in this kind of game... winning and lossing".

You ought to move on. you have learned from your mistakes. You have more experience now and i am sure you know what you need to do before investing in any of these shitcoins.Personally i spend a lot of time  reading whitepapers, check the background of the people behind each coins and putting those information into my database to that i could easily recall which one of these thousands of coins are the shit projects so i can avoid them in the market
