What you can do is to hold for now, there really is nothing else to do unless you are willing to sell at a loss and cut your losses and then reinvest into the market at better prices than you did before. This is why people are told to never invest more than what they can afford to lose at a time because the market is unpredictable.

I myself have made similar mistakes of FOMO and it just seems like everyone does, like it is an oath to becoming a good trader. So you have made the cardinal mistake of FOMOing (dw we all have) now you are in a spot of hodl or sell I would hodl myself because I don't like selling at losses. Also you have to look at whether those coins or not have a chance of getting out of the red and as far as I know those are okay coins and you should be able to creep out of losses. Lastly, know that I am still bag holding a couple of alts from last year some of which I have had for 10 months now (and don't know when I can get rid of but will wait it out).

I should have just went with bitcoin or ethereum. Cause if they go up then the other alt coins go up. They are the leaders of the pack it seems like. I will hodl since I don't want to sell at a loss. But you think they will go back up by the end of the year?
This is the right decision, and you will not lose your money until you sell your coins cheaper than you bought them.

I also lost almost half of my deposit in bitcoin. need to wait. in the worst case, you will return your dollars, and in the best you increase the deposit in BTC

I lost more than 60% of my portfolio during this dip as it taught me a lesson to be more prudent next time and learn to lock in profits no matter what.

Losing money has a way of opening your inner brain to be more cautious next time.

The most important thing is not to be greedy and only invest that you can afford to lose. Also FOMO is a common mistake because we don't know the future. You should hold your coins until they recover again. Just do first a lot of research before investing. An you need more patience in crypto world. Don't sell at a loss if you don't have to.
exactly when you see that you might be loss for when you decide to sell it make a an analysis and think properly what are the good thing to do for beside on selling this.

I also experienced the incident, my friend. I try to relax and not panic until waiting for everything will come back as before, you will not really lose it until you sell it

Well do not worry there is still enough room for you to recover your money. Just be patience and wait for the next wave of the crypto market price movement. As for now the crypto market falls down and it is nature. Meanwhile if you will just hold it then I guess in just few months when the cryptomarket price goes high then definitely you will be able to recover your loss and that is how cryptocurrency works. Just be patient because that is the key to a successful crypto investment.

this should be a lesson for you to have a risk management. also, study what is overbought and oversold coins. never buy overbought coins and buy oversold coins never use your emotion when buying have you heard about FOMO? don't be regretful but take the lesson from the past. emotions like being regretful will not help you make a proper decision.

You should hold the crypto you still have and wait until its price increase. Do not sell it while the market is still red because you will have regrets. Just hold it until the price recovered so you can get back what you lost.

So I basically got fomoed. Towards the end of 2017 I saw how high bitcoin skyrocketed and decided to invest in ripple as a test. Less than one week it went up 3x. This made me more ballsy and I put in 11k total in various other alt coins like ripple, ethos, tron, and cardano. After the crash I lost about half of my value just like that. I am frustrated with the experience and wish I would have just put in 1k or something. I wish I could just not invested and went into what I was doing earlier which was just investing the boring and traditional way. Should I wait and hodl or pull out and do something else?

There’s nothing you can do to reverse your situation. You two options:

Option number 1 is to accept that you have already lost the 50% and at this moment you will cut your loss. This option is radical one because the amount you have invested is gone already. But the good thing in here is you learn that trading is not an easy task and next time you will respect that trading is not have always good endings. Also based on experience in order for you to recover your loss you need to hold your portfolio for 5 years. But this doesn’t guarantee you that it will reverse.

Option Number 2 is to hold your portfolio and wait to recover your investment. Patience is the key to success in this alternative. 5 years of waiting to be exact with no guarantee that it will reverse.

I prefer option number 1. Now the choice is yours amigo.

Selling is the worst decision to make for it will not bring back what you have lost. Hold onto it and do not mind the market. Many have regrets of selling coins because they panicked. Do not be like them. Learn from others mistake. Be patient and soon you will be rewarded for it.

What's most important in this space, is recognizing your mistakes. Now you've been able to identify it was FOMO that led to your losses, restrategize your approach to be FOMO free and solely dependent on market strategies. You will win back your loss in no distance time.

Almost all users lose more than 50% of the money because the bitcoin price and all the coins down, I also experience so, but I do not panic and convinced that the price of all coins immediately rose, because if we sell now then we will lose and regret.

Its part of growing up, if you lost half of your crypto coin its okay, but dont do it again, learn from your mistakes, most of investors fail 10x you do, so dont be down or discourag. You will not become professional if you didnt commit some mistake. Learn from it.

All holders of crypto currency are now in the same position because almost all the coins have now fallen very much in value. However, to consider that we all have already suffered losses, it is not necessary. Until we began to sell our coins at a low price, we still have not lost anything.

I think that you should handle your emotions. This market is very volatile, so you should make the worst plans before investing. I hope you can continue to hold your tokens. I believe that the currency price will increase.

you do not need to panic. Now almost all the holders of the crypto currency are in about the same position, as the crypto-currency market has completely fallen in price.

You can't just look at the good side of investing in this market. You need to consider the worst intentions before investing so that even if you suffer losses, you can maintain a good attitude to judge the market and profit from it.

If you think what you hold is good coin, better hold it for more months. Sometimes cryptocurrency can give high profits but sometimes crypto can lossing our capital. Its risky market and have high fluctuation movement
