I suggest that you invest in several mainstream projects. EOS, WAVES, NXT and XmR are all good choices, so long as you can hold them for a long time, you will surely be able to make profits.
For long term i would go with neo wich is backed buy China so it wont ever fail for sure and with libry coin,lbc should be the new you tube on blockchain without any current limitation from yt that is growing bigger every day.They seem to have a good team and also a working project wich is rare in crypto world

No one can predict who will be the 2nd best coin in the future. No one also thought that Ethereum will be one of the TOP. Their will always be a new coin that will emerge from the bottom. Focus on the idea of the coin and what help can it do for the crypto owners.

If you want to hold a coin for a long time, my recommendation is that Ethereum, IOTA, NEO, EOS, these are coins that I think have long-term investment value.
In addition, you can play bitcoin long term with altcoin like the ethereum, dash or neo. The third altcoin this has a future. Hopefully you immediately get a huge profit, hopefully can help.
If you prefer to be engage in a long term period I can advise that it is good to start with ethereum and bitcoin because these two has a good and bright future.

I think you can buy altcoin that is not good growth because many people are holding altcoin and holding their altcoin until altcoin prices stabilize again and that way you can get altcoin that can withstand long-term and can get a good profit

if you want an altcoin to be hold for long such a long term, then go for ethereum, it is the most valuable altcoin as of today, and it is the most known altcoin in the market. many people see a big potential on it.
My sleeper hit for the best altcoin long term invest ist the WAVES coin. Its almost like ethereum, but much easy to handle for the developers and the users. So if you would buy some now, you will make good gains in future with them. I think one of the altcoins with the most potential. And if you want to inest longterm, then you dont have to check the charts all day, or you will get in panic and make some mistakes with selling to early!
