It depends what long term investment mean to you because if you are looking to hold a coin more than 5 years you definetly must check TimeBox project and see what they want to develop in the next coming years. if to invest long-term, you should choose bitcoin and eth. if for short term you can choose altcoin. or you can invest in ico, although it has big risks, but ico can make your profits bigger.
