Look at Dragon (DRG) coin, they are in casino area. Their price right now about 1$=1, they claim in whitepaper in 1 year time it will cost 30$=1 and in 5 years time 90$=1. I also look in to CashBet coin, the ICO Public Sale right now at 0.50$, it is also casino area and they are going big. What I really like about them, they work since 2012 and I am investing in them! Bitcoin is the best choice for long term invest, you can munimum the risk when invest in bitcoin, but the profit might not too high. For better profit, you have to choose some new coins, tokens that just finish their ico or just lunch product but the price still low.
In my opinion BTC, ETH, NEO, XLM, ADA is best to chooce. These crypto has potential to grow, now all of them the price in the bottom so its good times to buy and hold it. In fundamental all these coins is strong because has big community that support it.

For long-term investment. BTC and ETH would be your best choice because of its potential, security, and sustainability. Although BTC is unstable you will earn a lot of profit on it if you know how to market works. Having patience is your key to success in long-term investment, why? because if you see the market is falling down and immediately sold your token (panic sell) and suddenly it pumps way up its a big loss for you. Buy tokens at dips and hold until it reaches the highest value.

In my opinion, all of the altcoins have a great potential to rise in a near future, with the bitcoin. Maybe you should think about ethereum and bitcoin for a short term, because the prices are still good for buying.
Ether is a good long term hold, its value is increasing day by day. It would have chance to be the 1st coin in crytocurrencies.

In terms of potential and sustainability, ETH would be a good choice and its cheap right now. ETH would take the place of bitcoin sooner or later as the no.1 coin in the market. Take the chance to invest now before it reaches the highest value. According to other experienced traders, ETH will hit more or less 2500$ this 2018. I hope this helps.
