Hope he know about bitcoin already before you will hand over the gift to him, so that he won’t lose the bitcoin to scammers. Also now that he is facing challenges in school, don’t you think it will be better if you just gift him money so that he will use it to take care of his academic, if you gift him the bitcoin, do you think he won’t sell it when he is in need of money in school?

Is Bitcoin a perfect birthday present for a 25 years old college student? I want to surprise a friend, he is facing a lot of challenges due to his studies and he likes Bitcoin but can't afford investing money because of his studies since he is sponsoring himself, we've been together since 2011 and his birthday is on 27th of this month, do you think 0.03BTC is a cool present 🎁 for a birthday.

Would you love to accept Bitcoin as a Birthday Gift?
I see that question as rhetorical question. From the story and the question, you contradicted yourself. Your said, your friend is a bitcoin lover and you are still asking if you should give him bitcoin as a birthday gift, on your own how did you think, is it that you just like to create the thread. I didn't see any reason of the question again since your friend is a pro bitcoin, then it is your duty to give him the bitcoin you want to give to know if he will reject it or not. If he rejects it then you come here and tell us that you presented bitcoin as a gift to your friend on his birthday and he rejected it. But you have not done anything and here asking if we will accept bitcoin as a birthday gift.
This is a direct question and there is always YES and NO. If it is yes what will you do to it, will you send the coin in the person birthday?

I think Bitcoin is just a wonderful gift. Especially for a person who understands its value.

I would be overjoyed if someone would give me such a gift.

Since it is impossible to predict which currency will be on the bull list, all cryptocurrencies are crucial. Giving a close buddy bitcoin for his birthday is a wonderful gesture that any trader or investor would appreciate, especially because he is familiar with the currency and is aware of its significance in the market. owning one because he pays for his own education and I am aware of how demanding and challenging school can be for a student who is continuing their education without finding a substitute employment.

getting bitcoins as a birthday present is definitely quite fun because the price of bitcoins is quite high right now, but I think if he is a student and has financial problems of course giving him bitcoins is no different from giving him money for studies, I am sure if you give him bitcoins then maybe he will only hold it for 1 month or more because the pressure of tuition will certainly force him to sell the bitcoin, in my opinion it is better for you to teach him to trade or even invite him to join forums so he can make his own money or bitcoin, because the saying goes : if you want to help someone, don't give him fish but give him a hook or net for him to get his own fish.

if your friend enjoys Bitcoin, that would be the best choice. Giving your friend Bitcoin instead of something else will, in my opinion, make them very happy. how you want to surprise your friend will still be a factor. Yet, it would still be a fantastic surprise for me if someone gave me Bitcoin when I was trying Earn more of it. Bitcoin is the most valuable cryptocurrency and gifting someone something of that value will surely make them happy.

Probably a good idea, but I think it depends on the person and his financial situation. If he doesn’t have enough money and he can’t save and buy bitcoins, then he may have to sell these bitcoins to solve his financial problems.

On the other hand, if a person invests in bitcoin and is given money for his birthday, then it will not be a problem for him to buy bitcoins for this money.

But your idea is interesting, maybe if you give your friend bitcoins, he will hold them and try not to spend, because this is a gift from a friend, this way it can be a long-term investment for him.

Buying Bitcoin is a desire of many people. But buying Bitcoin is not for everyone. There is no doubt that people often use valuables to give gifts to each other. But gifting of digital currencies and  then Bitcoin will be something very new and unique gift. Many people still have very little information about digital currency and about Bitcoin. But they were surprised to hear that Bitcoin is currently the king of the digital currency world. The value of which is more than gold and silver. And those who know about Bitcoin will be extremely happy to receive Bitcoin as a gift.Because they know how much Bitcoin is worth right now and where the price and value of Bitcoin can go in the future. If someone gives me Bitcoin as a gift, it will be a great pleasure for me because I know that Bitcoin is the most valuable of all cryptocurrencies and can be a life changer for me.And it will be the best gift ever given to me.

According to what OP said, his friend already knows about bitcoin and is interested in it, but because of his life circumstances, he cannot invest in bitcoin, both of them already know about bitcoin's potential and profitability. Moreover, it was a birthday present, I don't think he will sell it as soon as he gets that bitcoin, he has been able to support himself all these years, and there is no reason for him to be in trouble without those bitcoins. As a self-made person, I believe he understands the preciousness and meaning of the gift he received.
but we never knew mate , because as long as he is In need and there is an available amount? the chance of taking it out is there specially when the price of bitcoin increase at least double? then there will be a desire to be used.
but let us see what will happen , I hope that OP had already sent His friend the amount and now started holding and watching market from time to time like what we are doing now.
It's really a questionable thing when you need the money, but then you have to wait for it to double. If I can cash out my coins today right now, then I would do that and it would not be an issue for me at all, I will end up doing that as much as I can and sell so that my life can get better. What's the point of having bitcoin investment if I am living a miserable life? If bitcoin could help me get my life back in order then I will do that and I will not care about the rest.
actually many people keep saying they will keep holding because they never come to the same situation but once you run out of food in table? trust me they will sell even in the lowest value.

Some people would rather live a miserable life now, and then be rich later on, but I do not have patience like that, I do not want to live a miserable life and because of that I end up with cashing out when I face adversity.
\Like what i said , it is easy said than done waiting for time to double when you badly needed money? that is impossible to manage .

Lol, 0.03BTC is a very expensive gift we usually don't give our friends. It's the cost of a decent desktop computer or smartphone. I have some doubts OP is talking for real, as it would seem more reasonable if he were talking about surprising his friend with a sum of 0.001BTC or something like that, that is the cost of an interesting shirt which is the most common price range and kind of gift between friends.

If they really are close friends and the economy of OP is stable, then it isn't a big amount, maybe for us, it is a big amount, but for some people, it is nothing. I have seen birthday gifts with Iphone 13promax or thousands of dollars worth of watches, those are really luxurious gifts for friends. But when they're close friends or work together, that's normal.

For someone, who is passionate about investing in bitcoin but because of the situation cannot invest, and if they receive a gift of bitcoin, it can be said to be the most meaningful gift they have ever received.

It’s past the D-day and we haven’t heard from OP. I was hoping we would get feedback from OP on the 27th or 28th on how his friend reacted to the bitcoin gift, if there were any challenges or things worth mentioning e.t.c But it seems OP has forgotten about this thread and moved on to other things. Anyway it was kind of him to help a friend in need. I still don’t think his friend would keep the bitcoins, he probably has already converted it to fiat by now.

That's very kind of you my friend! I didn't know that you open a thread here and asking this to everyone here. Yeah I'm struggling in my studies recently, and I like bitcoin! Now it's already March but not sure where is my gift.

Lol lucky him having you as his friend. Hope you gave him a cool gift, and yeah, if it's me I'll accept bitcoin as the gift. But to make it more valuable and attractive, physical bitcoin items would be a better choice for birthday present where you can load bitcoin in it. For reference you could visit this Collectibles section.

we as bitcoin users certainly really hope that someone wants to give a gift in the form of bitcoin for us on that very special day, because bitcoin is a very special gift and only certain people want to give the gift, then the idea you are currently running is certainly very good to give a surprise to your friend, Although he doesn't like bitcoin but when he knows that bitcoin is very valuable for now of course he will accept it wholeheartedly.

Since your friend is a crypto or bitcoin enthusiast, I say, go for it. It will fit in with the list of things that are most important to them. Additionally, it will be easy for them to understand how volatile the asset is and how its price and value fluctuate, so when the chips are down, they wouldn't say that they didn't know. On the other hand, I wouldn't gift bitcoin to a friend who isn't a bitcoin enthusiast, and isn't interested in the topic of bitcoin, I would send another perfect gift that matches their interests would be perfectly fine. That way, I would have saved Myself and them a lot of heartache.

Bitcoin defiantly would be some present. I say this as it is in one instance, gifting your friend, some currency or an asset. Now, your friend has got some really liberty to exercise over his gift by either using it as a currency, which could have some immediate use should he chose to utilise it in solving some of his immediate challenges or perhaps, let it serve its asset purpose by holding and letting it appreciate in value.
Its definitely something to do but, you've got to ensure to teach your friend or engage him in some way to realise what has been given to him. It's better his not ignorant of what he's got less he looses it all.

Since you mentioned that your friend likes Bitcoin but cannot afford to invest due to his studies, giving him 0.03BTC as a birthday gift could be a thoughtful and generous gesture. It could also potentially provide him with a valuable asset that he can hold onto for the future.
i also want if someone give me bitcoin as a present.
Lol as you say it sounds funny, if a person is going to give away btc they must accept it, no matter how much it is because it is a great gesture. nobody gives btc like this for a birthday or for any occasion. Instead of that person, I kept the btc for many years, I would not touch that investment because it is the best thing to do, it would ensure a future and the rest would be doing something else so as not to touch that money Having a friend who gives you btc is a great friend, not because he gives you btc but because he is possibly giving you a great fortune.

The fact that you said your friend knows about bitcoin and he is interested, I know it will be a great surprise and gift for him although I wish he will take it seriously and invest in it wisely.
