I've been late to sell all the coins that I've so until now all I can do is hold all the coins and wait for market to grow again because if I sell now it's same as suicide
I've held all through 2017 and I'm in profit, but that's one of the few cryptos that actually has risen this year(and is on top 100).

I believe this is not a form of jest? Those who have decided to hold, only did that to avoid selling at loss. I personally believe that inasmuch as I am still holding my coin, even if it plummets in the market and I do not sell at that lower price, then it means I have not lost. Then every holder should try as much as possible to trade, so that your loses can be covered through your gains in trading.
I keep all the coins and did not sell anything. It is already too late to do this, it is better to just postpone everything for a couple of months and not remember. Return as soon as growth begins
I am a holder because I believe in a long term investment. since December 2017 I have been holding my coins although I sometimes feel bad about the whole thing but will still hold for better days.
it is not known when these better days will come. so you need to look for a strategy through which you can earn even on such days

I think I can be considered a hodler. I am not keeping ALL my money in crypto in there but I try to earn as much as I can from crypto and keep some of it there and some of it I cash out because you know... I need to eat? So I can still be considered a hodler since I don't cash out all of my coins.
I think not cashing out is a big part of bitcoin community, we need to make sure bitcoins always stay in our wallets and only used to buy stuff and not trade for fiat. I do not understand people who trade for fiat and so forth without a need, if you need the money yeah it makes sense but if you are doing it just for profit then it makes no sense since bitcoin is itself money like dollar is and I would rather see a world where I can spend bitcoin wherever I go instead of a world bitcoin worth a lot.

I must say I am one of them. May I know your plans if you want to buy back any time soon? I hope you did not sell everything yet as prices starts to give good signs. But i think there are other hodlers, who can be adamant and full of courage.

I definitely trust holding our investment for long term investment because from last few years I'm getting profit from holding so after some years your investment today will be more profitable so I will definitely support holding the currency for long time is good for us.

I am a hodler but only for short term because I need funds for my own and family's needs. I can't wait for too long as I I am a less fortunate individual that needs money but if I am a wealthy person I think I am able to hodl for long term purposes for a much better result in the future. Supporting a coin is sometimes risky since we have different strategies and beliefs depending on what coins we had.
It's not really hodling for that long, for some reason, it is for the love of the project, and on another note, it is as a result of trying to recoop losses made in the bearish trend.
I am pretty sure that there are still a lot of Hodlers on the market, because many people believe in coins that support projects!

I hold some of my coins because of it has no value and some of it still not a good time to sell, so I choose to hold all of them at the moment and waiting for the right time to sell when market recovers.
I think a lot of investors are still holding their coins, waiting for another price rally to come. I only started holding bitcoin and some altcoins in the second quarter of last year but I decided to trade some of my coins because it is more profitable than holding. I choose daytrading this time because some coins re going up even the price of the bitcoin is in downtrend.
Throughout 2018 the price of coins declined but you did not sell the coins you bought in 2017. And what you did was a mistake because until now the price of coins has dropped significantly. Of course, if you sell coins now you will lose more money. But you must still be sure whether someday the price of the coin will soar again.

Don't think just hodling the coin ( am not sure what coin you are talking about as you posted it in alcoin discussion section) is helpful that much in supporting a coin : it'd be better using them , spreading awareness about them, encouraging their adoption and make a daily use of them in real life would do a better job.
It base of the price you bought the coins before, for me, if I bought it in the highest price, when the market is dropped, I need to make the decision cut loss or hold it, if I bought it in the lowest price, I don't care the price is drop or rise and take it for my long term investment.

Few holders left, no one yet understands what will happen to this or that coin in the future. Therefore, it is easier to buy it cheaper at the start of the rise than to wait more than five years and possible profits.
To become a holder from 2017 to present needs so much faith and courage and if you're one, you're truly brave. But I don't settle on just waiting and waiting. I am a holder but at the same time, I see to it that I still have profits while waiting for the right time, so I day-trade some of my coins.
