Another rain delay! This match is very crucial for Pakistan than Srilanka. If the match gets abandoned due to the rain, Srilanka will then quality for the final. The reason being they have currently a better NRR than Pakistan. I hope the delay is not that long and both team are able to play the complete 50 overs. Pakistan are favourite to win in this game, they have always outperrformed the odds. They might not have the complete bowling attack, they still have very good batters. Out of the Srilankan bowling attack only Wellalage and desilva can create issues for the Pakistani batters. If they can handle these two guys it will be easy for them to win today.

In today's match due to rain any untoward incident may happen especially the toss is getting delayed due to rain. The entire stadium is covered and has not been tossed so far. Today is a very important match in the Asia Cup where the equation is to win. The winning team will play India in the final. Like we saw in Spain against Sri Lanka, we might see spin-aided wickets against Pakistan. Pakistan are dependent on their fast bowlers but they definitely need quality spinners to win against Sri Lanka. Shadab Khan is a good quality spinner but he is not doing well in this Asia Cup.

I think you are underestimating a quality all rounder like shadab no doubt he has bad performance against India but you can't ignore his previous best performance for behalf of single match performance, most of the time he took important wickets for Pakistan and show his class and I am sure that he will comback stronger and will shut mouth of all haters, it's true every player has bad time but it has limit and soon it will over and he will again shine like a star

I see no need to focus on Nrr in the match today. Because both Sri Lanka and Pakistan teams played 2 matches of Super Four and won 1 each. Both teams have 2 points, the team that wins today will have a total of 4 points. The team that wins the match today will directly play in the final. If Pakistan's Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf are missing in today's match then it will be difficult for Pakistan to win the match. Today's match is a do or die match for both teams. I can understand what you are saying about Wellalage, but Shadab Khan? He is the primary reason why Pakistan lost to India. Pakistani spinners were completely out of sorts and the Indian batsmen treated them like club bowlers. I don't understand why it is so hard for Pakistan to find quality spinners from their domestic setup. This is the same country that once produced legendary spinners like Saqlain Mushtaq, Mushtaq Ahmed and Danish Kaneria. Even Shoaib Malik and Yasir Shah were good, but now they have ordinary spinners like Shadab Khan.

I have a different opinion on this. I would rather say that a potential injury to Bumrah will not be much damaging for India's prospects. Bumrah can be replaced with Shami. He may not be as quick as Bumrah, but he is also a wicket taker. And if multiple bowlers get injured, then there is a good backup strength in the form of Arshdeep Singh, Mukesh Kumar and Avesh Khan. Right now, India should not be bothered about some of their players getting injured and becoming unavailable to play. The team balance is looking really good at this point.

Absolutely Right at Start of Asia Cup and first win against Nepal Pakistan is favourite to win this Asia cup but after A big defeat against India by 228 runs India is favourite to win this Asia Cup. No doubt Pakistan has best pace attack in the world but after two main fast bowlers injured Naseem Shah ruled out of Asia Cup 2023 and Haris Rouf ruled out match against Sirlinka. I think Zaman Khan will replaces Naseem Shah in playing 11 against Sirlinka. The tomorrow match between Sirlanka and Pakistan is Semi final winner team will qualify for Final and face India in Final of Asia Cup.

I imagine this is a particularly good time for India as their batting and bowling can be said to be incredibly dangerous. The match against Sri Lanka was a puzzle for everyone and i took a personal gamble with my friends in this match where i won. You see India batting side is very good but they also have the best spin bowlers. I know that everyone is so sure in this Asia Cup that any team of India and Pakistan can win this Asia Cup but only the final match is waiting. Also personally i bet india that they can win asia cup.

India was able to defend a total of 214, which means they are the favorite to win the cup, never expected to defend a total like that but then it is not the spinners that changed the match, fast bowling by Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj in the opening spell and then later on Hardik Pandya bowled a wonderful spell when Sri Lanka was building a partnership. The only disappointment was Axar Patel, if it was Ashwin in his place, he would have made a difference.
