No, I think the demand for ICO is increasing because the IEO fee on the exchanges is getting more expensive and good projects but there is no capital required to implement ICO.
that's why recently ICO projects have been noticed by many investors. But the number is not significant, I still prefer STO.

I don't think so, ICO isn't increasing rapidly in my opinion. On the other hand its totally wrong that people's starting trust on ICO. Only few greedy people's trust on ICO and they are losing their fund. So average there is no any demand for ICO. The main reason is too much scammer around market and most of ICO isn't potential enough. I can't see any future with ICO. I see just lose and lose.

ICO had it peak in the year 2017 when the market experienced the incredible all time bull run. The reported issues on scam ICOs and the long bear market of 2018 made lots of investors lost interest in ICOs. Now, IEO is becoming more popular due to its uniqueness in sales.

Well, in fairness the ico this year was better than 2018, though I'm not saying most of the ico now are getting successful in the end.
One more thing, I don't know how did you know that people in this industry get trusted again on ICO? where did you get this information

More and more investors have low trust on ICO, only few ICO with strong and dedicated team and having a good project plan manage to survive these days due to years of trusting ICO with a lot of fund and nothing to proof for it. They have now metamorphose into IEO, they are same just a nomenclature.

because i don't see any ICO project reach their hard cap,,
i knew few of them reach the soft cap but not the Hard cap mate
now the trends change from ICO and STO to IEO Wink

I think it's too naive to say that, I don't see any improvement from Ico right now. I think the new project prefers the IEO rather than the ICO Roll Eyes

ICO is currently less in demand, i think you have done the wrong research. look at the present situation ICO has lost many investors, now most investors have switched to IEO. it's likely that ICO will die, but i still hope that doesn't happen.

i think you should keep abreast of developments, don't let you lag behind.

I think even though ICO growth is very fast and a lot of ICOs are created but not all ICOs can be successful, only a few ICOs can succeed and develop into bigger ones.

Because ferrum's ICO has harcap very low. Only about 300k USD and they market very well. Also they were listed at Bitmax after the ICO ended. I believe this project will be great and its price will increase many times after being listed

Nevertheless, Ferrum did their ICO today and it finished within 1hour, I think if ICOs can be properly managed there might be a chance of them coming back gradually; Ferrum just paved the way today. But at the same time carefulness and due diligence should be adopted because scammers will still look for ways to get at investors if ICOs starts coming up again. I wish Ferrum the best..

People are just getting tired of IEOs and there are some reasons why. Firstly, you need to have at least 1-2k of exchange tokens to be eligible for the lottery and if you win a ticket, you can take part in a token sale. This process is costly and not available for everyone, so people are switching to ICOs, to get tokens, because they know that something big is coming.

Last year was a year of ICO boom and now it's quantity is decreasing. Much projects were perfectly covered schemes, other projects just couldn't make it. I hope the mistakes of the past would help this relatively young market to grow stronger and for those smart people trying to startup their own projects just to learn from the mistakes of the past.

The low price is after an exchange listing because investors that get big discounts are selling their tokens plus some bounty hunters and airdrop participants that got these tokens for free.

I guess this year, ICO has decreased, and it replaces by IEO because many ICO has already scammed many people. The investor moves their money from ICO into IEO because they see the chance to make a profit from the IEO. But perhaps, some investor still stays in the ICO project, and they still search on the right ICO to invest. Since the last year, ICO is not giving much profit for many investors, and that makes them afraid to invest in any project because they don't want to get the same experience.

I don't know what OP sees to say ICO are increasing, that is not happening now, most of the projects are now dealing with IEO because they don't see that ICO is anymore feasible. That high scam rate is probably the reason why it's down now.

yes, maybe op just doesn't know the IEO when making this thread. however, currently the ICO decline is very visible, which is proven by many projects that use the IEO for their sales. besides, investor also prefers the IEO compared to ICO for now. well, the IEO system offers good enough to avoid the risk of scam.

Exchange can't scam people, or else they are done.

I think this will be the trend in the long run as it's easier for people to invest although not everyone who are willing are lucky to invest.
As the IEO is getting more popular, we need more exchange to gain trust from investors so they could also run a successful IEO.
For now, it has been Binance that are dominating and it's not good since a coin could be hype which is bad for long term.
