indeed that it true my friend but you have to know it still remains a risk i still can not forget how i missed up with eidoo bounty when i had changed my signature before the distribution of the coins, what a waste a month of posting gone in few seconds.
Approximately 99% of them. And I think it will get even worse in 2018, coz more and more people become aware of crypto, so they decided to give their money to some sh***y projects ( which promises they will become ''people' who bought btc in 2010'' in a few years).
There have been a number of shady ICOs, which is a shame, because there are certainly ICOs that have solid projects, products and teams behind them.
I do not know why! I only think that Ico project is a more modern Ponzi method right now.

NO , every ico not ponzi, but ico can be used for ponzi, ico itself is a token have a benefit with 1000% profit possibilities, be careful in ico investment, and minimize with ico scams or not legit.

It is not a free earn system but most of the ICO is not a real so if any one want to get a free income it is not possible via ICO but if you invest with ICO program you can get a more money with your small investment. Hope you understand What is ICO system.
And the funny thing is that the best ICO projects need no advertising (bounty campaign or paid ads on the internet)...

I think yes but not all ico are good so that you must be ware about it. But ico is for signature campaign but airdrop easy to get free coin.

The answer is no. There are 2 ways to earn money with ICO. The first, you have already a budget and you invest in ICO tokens to get profit. The second way, if you dont have fund, you can work for bounty campaign and get tokens. Both of ways are not free.
I think you misunderstand the main question here, indeed the title is a bit confusing because the title sounds like a statement that we can earn free money from ICO. In fact, it is a question for us about what do you think about ICO these days? Is it like a ponzi scheme where the dev may earn free money from the investors?
I mostly agree about ponzi. Not only ICOs but the crypto in general become a little bit ponzi. New money are flowing in while it's possible to make a big profit!
If you really research your way into every ICO that you are interested in, then you can pretty much never be scammed. You should know every details that the company can offer you before putting anything into the line. You can feel the risk to be less if you know what you are doing or where you are putting your investments into.

For viable project you cannot call it a ponzi scheme,the modern ponzi are the ico lending project,all things been equal,it worth investing in ICO it pays off at the long run

The project teams are acting very smart to get money from the world. They collect millions of dollars and they don't do nothing. I know many projects raised over than 50k-100k ETH in their token sale and they didn't provide anyhing so far.
There are lots of SCAM projects because this field is not regulated, however, there are some really promising ones. If you want to invest, you need to choose wisely.

later to sell them and have some "free money", or it is better to say high profit
without huge work.
