Of course you can earn a large amount of money, but the risk of losing money is much greater, especially now. Now there are a lot of scammers in the ICO.  Undecided

I do not know why! I only think that Ico project is a more modern Ponzi method right now.  Huh
How about you, YES OR NOR ?   Huh

I don't think that ICOs are ponzi because the real aim of ICO is to help raise funds for startups business. However there might be few scammers here and there but we can't classify it as ponzi.

Yeah some project after crowdfund ICO end didn't progress according to the original plan listed on the roadmap.
So it was like the project is scam from the dev party doesn't run the project again even though it has gained capital from ICO.

All right! It is not exactly "free money", but it is all about your choice and what do you concider a good ICO! Taking in concideration your money or your effort put to get a bounty reward..

So if it is a bad ico with no value, then yea it is free money. If it is a promising one, then it deserves the investment. CyberTrust is one of those solid projects. And I'm with their bounty supporters already.

It depends on whether you really understand your participation in the ICO project, to understand his team and the future development of the ICO project and so on.

Many times YES, it is a new way to get money. But, I am also wondering why do they spent bitcoin to fund a campaign here then just scam people.

Unlike traditional equity investments, carefully selecting investors in an ICO can have serious product growth consequences. While some ICO investors are high-net-worth individuals or institutions and are just buying to return capital, many other tokens are purchased by potential users of a product who are excited to see its development and launch. It's like “Kickstarter model” of raising capital.

ICO capital can create real growth. If the ICO process itself drives adoption for a product, a startup might find that the first 1,000 or even first 100,000 user problem has largely vanished during the fundraise process itself.

So there're quite a lot of advantages. But you should never forget about the risks

You're partly right, you're partly wrong too. You are right that it's a way of modern ponzi but that only applies to ICO that's a scam by nature. But there are still ICOs today that is really legit and are giving you real profit that made your thoughts wrong.
In order for us to not fall on their hands, we must be very careful and do what needs to do just to be sure whether the ICO smells fishy or not before engaging on them. Because once you hand them your money, it's good as you lose.

Through the ICO, new altcoys are produced that have various improvements and are applied to the narrow spheres of our activity. In principle, this is a very useful activity. However, it needs to be regulated in order to avoid risks of fraud for investors. This has already begun to be done in the US, making claims and charges against dishonest individuals who use this project only to raise money. If the ICO becomes reasonably regulated, it will work well and benefit the Crypto and people.

It's not a free money. Must better to know where you want put your money. ICO is a risk, not all of them is a successful. I saw many ICOs that have so much promises but meant to be broken or the progress is to slow..
Yes correct not all ico it runs in accordance with our expectations agan failed there is also the occasional hanging with his team and the German Manager whether he executed very well what otherwise. Fortunately fortunately success when windfall may not just dazed

The ICO project is a good way to improve the crypto currency with the involvement of all interested persons. However, as elsewhere, there are always such persons who wish to earn money only on the issue of initial coins. Due to the fact that this process is mostly decentralized, there are always people who abuse this right and use it for their profit. Therefore, now investing in ICO is associated with the risk of losing their money if the project is fraudulent. However, in any case, this is not a Ponzi scheme, but the necessary activity to improve altcoyins.

Not exactly, it depends. If you are participating in the bounty of that ICO or the ICO would be having an airdrop yes you would be getting free money. But it is not actually free because you consume time and effort for the campaign of the ICO
Oh so the like that gan if we will get the coin in garatis with the US should join the kampaye, but how's that for calculation coinya if that participated a lot and who participated from the beginning and who are new to join later if same coinyang will be

YES, I also think that because most of the ICO has no real value at the moment, it looks more like a hoax, but it can still be invested because there is still a bubble,
Therefore, we must be more carefully again because it is now many ico that the end result that does not correspond to our expectations of many that result is empty so we should be more detail to choose or want to invest

some ICO only sell appointments and news to make investors participate in it such as bounty campaign with prizes up to 1000 ETH but in fact the participation of bounty hunter as we only get 500 ETH. that's why they sell the issue of token price estimation but do not sell their real product
