ICO is one good thing to invest in but sometimes it is not. Why? Because most of the ICO today are scam and it is really hard to figure out who and what is real. That is the reasons why investors afraid to invest in ICO.
According to this, If you have good knowledge and understanding of cryptocurrency and marketing strategies, you will be able to identify potential ICOs otherwise you can easily lose your investment. But that would be a very bad idea for someone who has no serious experience to put a large amount of money into ICO.
It of course depens on a particular ICO, some of them are legit, but most are just cash grabs. So If you are able to differentiate those 2 kinds of ICOs you can get rich by investing in the right ICO.
Investing in ICO is one of my main ways of earning money, there was no such thing that I was wrong in the project.
Being the right investment is way too much to say and too less to not have thought off. It's always in two phases but to invest on an ICO needs thorough research, to know their plans and especially the possibility if its height in the future.
I really can say some ICOs have great plans and it can mean a great investment too to potential investors.

ICOs are great, if you do happen to invest in the proper startup you will get huge profits, the same than real life, see high risk venture funds, they invest high sums for high ROI's. Furthermore these can be great if you know what you are doing, also riskier than coins trading but i define them as good investments overall

my opinion about ICO is very positive. It is one of the best opportunities to make money. I think it's much better than simple trading, cause if you find a nice project, you can multiply your investments. there are lots of examples of such people who have made lots of money with the help of the ICO.
I agree with the people who write about making a research about a project and recommendations like this. But I would also advise you to trust yourself, trust your feelings about something. I have a friend, who finds great projects, but he misses lots of opportunities, cause he is not sure whether it's worth investing. If he listened to his intuition he would earn much more money...
but this is only my humble opinion))
I think that the majority of people who invest their money in new projects - get losses. Earn only those who are able at an early stage to invest in a good project.
investment in ICO, you must understand about ICO project. read their whitepapers, see investor support, and use future projects. I think 30% ICO can give you success. but 70% will lead you to disappointment. because when it releases on the market, the token price falls between 2-10x from the ICO price. and it's very difficult to get prices up again.
it depends on the quality of the ICO and their project if you choose the right ICO , then Its a good investment . study the project at first of all
Ico's are a good investment just ensure that you do your research or else you might be scammed.
In many own opinions ICO ain't really a good investments if your investment is for a short term but for a long time about 6 months or months ICO is good... Cause 90% of ICO falls below ICO price after first listing and pick maybe a month or two later
how many looked at the coins that came to the stock exchange after the fundraising all somehow fell off when entering the stock exchange bypassing the price lower than at ico
Now investing in ICO is very risky, because now there are a lot of scam projects. I advise you to be careful.
Hey, i personally think it is always good to be part of an ICO, there qre incredible ideas out there! HOWEVER you need to do some investigation before doing so, as you might know, many ICOs are scams... so you could invest, but as i said stay safe.
Investing in ICO is the worst idea to date, I think. A lot of scams have come to the crypto industry, and now it is much easier to lose money in the ICO, than earn on this.
If you waste your time and find a good company, then there is a chance that you will be able to make good money.
I would not recommend investing in ICO. This is very risky and you can lose all the money. It is better to invest in coins.
If it were 2017 the the answer would be yes but with the market this year ico's are a risky adventure. I've gone into ico's this year and picked mostly good ones and a couple of duds. so far max 3x on most of them at best but I'm hoping that may change. If you are careful and research a lot then Ico's can still be good but the gains of 2017 just don't seem to be there this year (so far)
Some Icos were really profitable last year,such as Icon,Aion,Eos,Nebulas and others.But this year I dont see any perspective Icos,everything seems suspicious.,I would avoid investing now.
