there's no one rules to say it will drop or not . maybe price hit 3x then you will regret not investing in ico . also,it may rise then dumB hard after hitting good target . it's free market .you can't just anticipate it .

Yes, now they are very cheap compared to their ICO prices, so people who find potential in ICO coins better to buy them in exchanges because they are getting them for low price.

For me, it depends on the coin. There are coins that are really the talk of the town even before they are offered in the market or opened to the public. There are, for example, certain coins that are selling out in their private or limited pre-sales in a matter of seconds or minutes. With ICOs like these, I better go for ICO rather than wait for them to come to the exchanges. There are also ICOs that are even hardly reaching their soft caps. I better wait for the exchanges to buy these coins rather than join their ICOs.

Everyone that researches icos on a daily basis got atleast a few of the top icos. I invested in lisk and neblio ico and got antshares early on before they rebranded to NEO.
There is no doubt that everyone should atleast invest a small portion of their portfolio in the top upcoming icos. (Always do your own research). ICO investments beat everything else by a huge margin for me.

Sure you can go with 50% or even 200% a year. Every traditional investor would kill for that return (thats why they need a cheap crypto market, to get in after sleeping for to long)
But everyone that got 5x 10x or greater returns will shake his head in disbelief, when people invest only in one or two top coins.

I doubled my money even before people get in icos and often times tripled it (not in this bear market), before the coin gets listed on coinmarketcap. Look at what ICON did. Anyone had the chance to get into their ICO. 100 USD turned into more than 9000 USD on top. YOU JUST NEED TO DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH.

Use research groups on telegram and ico spreadsheets, learn everything about ico investing you need to know on the internet and just start small. I've acquired freedom through crypto investment, just like many people i know. Just consider one thing: NEVER pay anyone to give you a learning course or anything, the informations are available for anyone for free (even though some udemy courses aren't that bad)

the depth of analysis on ICO is very influential in this regard, I'd rather buy tokens that have been listing in the market if not too sure with some projects that I analyze every day, but basically follow the ICO is a matter of courage to speculate further. because the coin will probably also fail / will not enter the market, or at least enter with the expected price.

The option to buy in the ICO or commercial stage is up to you to decide. If you invest in an ICO period, you will be able to buy at a lower price, but the project will cost you and you lose money. You like to buy at a good price, but if you buy during an ICO how do you determine what a good price is? Just an example, Consensus ICO was a good price but now the price is better, half of ICO price right out of the gate and that is a quality project.

This is a very good point that I have not thought about before, I was mainly thinking that bounty hunters are among these who sell everything the first day regardless of the price. Why would that not also be the case for discount hunters..

Usually I see the potential of the coin and whether there is bounty or not. bonus when ico is also very important in considering investment when ico or market. and also the allocation of bounty. because it could be later on the opening of the market and bounty already in the liquid can make a dump

For me this is the best time for investment buy some tokens and hold wait until the price will return the price dump now is normal i think they providing the return of investment of the investors.

Buy after ICO, on stock exchanges it will be cheaper, there will always be people who merge on EtnerDelta at a cheap price

1-Find an ICO with good team solid project and brilliant idea
2-Follow some big guy (maybe youtuber or maybe from twitter) to verify the project. This is important because many people will follow them
3- Join pre-ICO
4- Sell at the DEX (before the exchange)
5- Rebuy when the price is stable (and of course lower) from the exchange

Today is extremely good point to buy coins after the ICO - many of them strongly fall in price - it will be a great profit when market will grow.

I once suggested people to buy on exchanges since ico is of high risk and most projects are scam, but listed on exhcange is still of risk, for example CTR on binance today, its unbelievable

To go into the pre-ICO you need to have good information about this project and the team. If you believe only in promises, then it is better to just buy coins on stock exchange

I think it's a rear case of ICO with bright future.

ICO has never been given 100% guarantees, there have always been risks. Buying a token on the exchange is also risky. You just need to choose the right project and invest in it.

There are coins that are skipping the stage of ICO and for those investors that are investing only when that coin is listed on exchange but they held an ICO, pre-sale / public / private sale then you are missing big bonuses.
