It all depends on the market cycles. When the market is up - it is more profitable to try to enter an ICO and to get certain bonuses for early birds. When the market is down - most coins and tokens upon listing on exchanges are traded far below their original ICO price, which makes it more profitable to pick them up on exchanges Roll Eyes

I think it all depend on the project, there are some project that one just need to enter into to it before it hit the exchanges because you can not get it less than that current value.
I have enter Nebula AI ico, orhers I will wait and see the price on exchanges.

If you are really trusting an ICO and authentication is not a problem, Token may benefit you from buying before you enter the stock market. Some projects that do not forget that there may be a serious decline in the token price by carrying out bulk sales when the ICO process exceeds the predicted level.

Participating in ICO is much more profitable than buying a coin on the exchange at a high price. I'm only talking about successful projects. If the project is weak, participation in ICO can bring you losses.

If you trust the project, it is definitely ICO. However, there is a very different market situation. Very robust projects can come at very low prices after ICO.

Buying coins before ICO is a risky thing but the benefits and profit is awesome if the project gets success. You need to do a thorough research before investing into it.

Buying coins post ICO is bit costly but the risk is bit reduced compared to buying before ICO but here also you need to do a thorough analysis.

Suggest you to invest in existing coins first if you are new to crypto market then try for ICO post or pre investment on a later stage.
As we all know the Higher the Risk the Higher the rewards we can able to generate on and this do happen into this scenario on where this decisions would really vary entirely on us. If you can embrace such risk then proceed if not then better to wait and buy on exchangers later on.You would really need to be keen or researcher if you do really like to benefit on pre-sales.Once you hit the right project then it would be an easy money for you.

How often does the price get lower than the ICO price when a new coin is listed on its first exchange house ?

How come there are coins that are worth like 0.0004 $, usually during an ICO one coin is sold in the range of 1$ or not ?

Do some "coins" skip the ICO stage ?

It depends on ICO bonus structure, lockups, and hype. Some ICOs token doesn't go down after listing on exchanges.

The next upcoming ICO is lccx.io - looks like promising exchange based in London.  Well developed white paper, experienced team, located in politically stable jurisdiction.

It is better to buy at the ICO and then sell after the start of trading on the exchange than wait until the price drops within months.

Over the last few weeks, I have been trying to buy into ICO's without any luck. I often have to set my alarm for the middle of the night and try to make impossible payments whilst half asleep.

I have missed out on some great sales, and possibly all time low prices for these tokens. I haven't yet been able to find an exchange that sells any of these tokens either... so I will buy later (If I can find the exchange)

usually, if it is a blockchain like EOS better buy at ico stage... else if it is a utility token better buy after listing in an exchange... This will help you avoid a ICO scam as well...

Buy coin when they are launching their ICO is better, you will get good price, cheap coin with many discount, bonus. As you know in a ICO period, token price will be increase after each stage, so sooner you buy, more tokens you get with a same price. But most important thing is that what ICO to invest in. Today there are many scam ICO, no value and even that can't be traded or listed on any exchanges. Before you decision to invest into some ICO, you must make yourself research. Is it worth to invest to that ICO? Finally, got your anwser, then make yourself decision. Good luck!

I prefer to invest on ICO stage in good project especially when join some pool to get better start bonus.

Because most of the price drops to half after being listed on the exchange that should give you a good chance to collect some coins. With the number of frauds that occur with ICO I would recommend to wait for them listed on the exchange.

buy ico can be used as a good buy and cheap because ico prices usually have a lower price than in the market. but we have to choose a good ico and potentially for the future can be used as a big profit.

In this matter it is necessary to understand. If ICO is fraudulent, then it can still grow well in the short term. There may be a good team and a prospective project, but the price on the exchange will be lower than at the ICO. Every project needs to be studied well. If this is well understood, then ICO will bring a good profit. Also much depends on the environment as a whole. For example, in the last 3 months, all the Cryptocurrency has fallen. Even prospective ICOs were unprofitable. Some of the ICO grew, but there were very few.

i prefer buying in ico because in ico you got some discount and freebies while in exchange you were buying to a person with high interest.

it's better to buy ico tokens in pre-sale mode only not on exchangers we get discounted tokens in pre-sale mode itself and we get discount it is a good volume of coins once listed we can sell in exchangers

discount in pre sale not enough to cover while it dumped hard at market.personally i am prefer to buy at market, waiting people sell their cheap token or coins.its more profitable than joining in ico.

Well it's bit tricky for example few tokens after ICO get pumped and dumped.. recent examples include carVertical and remme both are available below ICO price at the moment and on the other hand few tokens go x10- x20 after ico recent example include ontology and wanChain ..

Free WSPU2 Token or real dollars
April 19, 2018, 04:06:32 AM
I have a concret example with my WSPU2 token

ICO price is $0.001 and bonuses are offered during the ICO time(this means that ICO price is in reality under$0.001

And on the WSPU2 faucet the WSPO2pts is traded at $0.00125

In trade life nothing is real logic.
