How often does the price get lower than the ICO price when a new coin is listed on its first exchange house ?

How come there are coins that are worth like 0.0004 $, usually during an ICO one coin is sold in the range of 1$ or not ?

Do some "coins" skip the ICO stage ?

depending on how confident you are in the project,
If you have many advantages that can buy in ico, because usually the price of ICO is cheaper, daparida price off from ico, there is also gan otherwise, cheaper price runs ico, then it depends on our belief.

Now a hard time in ICO and the last good projects can be picked up on the exchange at a price equal to or greater than the price of ICO. However, if it is possible to go on a pre-sale with a good bonus to a good project, then without hesitation it is necessary to go

Reliable ICO is hard to find. However, ICO bonus campaigns are sometimes very advantageous. I need to evaluate it well. It is not easy to catch such opportunities.

I think that with the hot ico should buy at ico while ico has long time to sell to wait on the exchange.

Well most of the time that those newly listed coin in an exchange from ICO is lower than the ico price. Some investors are only making money with the ICO and dumped their coin right after it is being listed and also those bounty hunters. So i think its much better if i buy the coins right after being listed in exchange

In the presale with a 50% or more bonus, it usually good to buy, but from my observations it seems that lately it is much more profitable to buy on the exchange after the ICO. Bounty hunters want to sell their tokens very quickly and often do not even know their value, so they sell very cheap.
But can you blame them, they aren't invested in the projects generally themselves. Just because you get a big bonus or discount doesn't necessarily offset the difference between ICO price and exchange listing price. Because most ICOs do dip under their ICO price, for that reason alone it is hard for me to get involved in ICOs now.

For example Sether was sold on IDEX at 50% of the ICO price, so it depends...

if indeed the project in question will make a good coin and potentially in the future, I think it is better to buy the coins when ICO. because at the time the ICO is usually very cheap price, coupled with the discounts and bonuses.

ICOs are more profitable but you have to do your own research which seems unlikely for majority of people in crypto. You got to be careful who you trust with your money with so many scams around.

That right. But not all ICO provide more than 10%. Sometimes better take a part in ICO, sometimes better buy later. Before that you need to find out some information about project and make decision

If you truly believe in the project and the team then I would go straight in at the ICO stage, you will normally find you get some really worthwhile discounts. What are you looking at?

there are many benefit the first investors can receive when the second investors who buy in the exchange can not receive such as getting bonus and devidend. I think everything have both sides and you can consider to choose the most suitable thing for yourself.

No this is a question with a few variables. How well known is the project. Has it been well advertised and marketed. What industry are they joining? Are there any similar coins and how well do they match up to the one you are considering. If a coin gets overhyped it can be better to buy the dip after its release onto an exchange. On the other hand if this is a real solid project with good fundamentals in a decent sized market and the marketing hasn't been huge this could be a perfect time to get in before the masses at the ice stage

Depends on the project really. However, it may seem to be a good strategy because nowadays lots of projects go down right after the ICO - that's a bad tendency as for me - investors wouldn't be happy about that probably.

I think joining ico is better. You can buy it pre sale and get bonus so you would probably get more profit. And lots of people from the bounty campaigns sell their coins after ico ends.so it would be good for you if you can hold your tokens to sell higher prize.

Well in ICO you will get mostly presale bonus and that is sweet. Tongue But it is not unusual that some coins would have big dump after hitting exchange but on the other hands, some will never go lower than ICO prico, so it is hard to say in general.

The key is to buy in during the private or public sale stages when you get a large discount of bonus. 25%+ bonus or discount help mitigate the risk quite a bit.
