For me this year is a learning experience for all of us, transparency is one big issue in the ICO industry, investors should have a way to know if the project is really attainable and the ICO is gaining support from investors and community, even good and legit ICO suffers this year.

I really appreciate your height of smartness rather than trusting others we need to research on our own. But you can get lot of information here about the technology, status of cryptocurrencies,thoughts, regards to ICO. It's like sharing is caring.

I basically invest in the idea and technology rather than believing it to go moon in couple of years. If the team is good, and they can deliver the roadmap in the timeline and it has real use case, it'll boom for sure. It's just about realizing the potential and the reach of the project in long term.

My predictions for IO in odd years or 2019 will be the same as 2017 where IOI was very successful. I hope I will return to success and success for all .. this year I was very bad because many scams were not responsible for what was done

Alot of people bought ether at those low prices. There's a lot of shit coins for sure but ether is not going anywhere. Failing ICOs dumped ETH, but that seems to be over...for now.

lol of course ico will always exist and wont die easily as long as there are still cryptocurrency . even without cryptos i think ico's will still alive because ico's are not really tied up to cryptos . ico do issue thier own coins and people or investors can use fiat or other payment methods just to invest on them . however i do agree on some points that you mentioned above . i agree that ico will run more difficult on 2019 and potential investors will also lessen .

I think and believe that ICO projects will be continued and investors will also invest their money in 2019. But it is hard to predict by every one of us about whether the market's overall condition will be good or bad. We see that the current market situation is not as good as we expected in the early months of this year. Unfortunately, this year has no good sign for the crypto market than last year.

Keep in mind that, Most projects have become a scam because of their lack of experience and greedy tend. On the other hands, Many good projects have gained their targeted investment and also going to drive in the market successfully. So, everyone needs to analyze deeply before choosing a project to invest.

Hope so icos still alive in the year 2019 and i still believe itheir an icos project gives better profits from the investors and the devs are give fair profits share for the investors and all token and coin came from icos are become valuable in the coinmarketcap if the bitcoin stay good their price value.

In 2019 investors at ICO will be smarter, and they will be more selective in choosing ICO. and ico will still exist in 2019, and maybe the scam will be slightly reduced. more and more people will invest in ico but they are not foolish people who are easily fooled.

You know in 2018 ICOs are gathering a good amount of money, some of them gather easily 10 million dollars + , so in 2018 ICOs are going way up, for example in 2017 only few ICOs gather good amout. Mostly there was 1 million +. Just statistics Cheesy

I guess in 2019 they will gather even more.

In my opinion the next year is going to be as bad as this one, altcoins and icos in particular depends heavily on the price of bitcoin and the price of bitcoin is not going to recover in this year and it's not going to recover in the next year either, I really do not think that we are going to see a full recovery until 2020, so I really expect that a great deal of the icos that we're seeing right now are going to fail.

There are plenty of good ICO right now but most of it might not meet their softcap specially for hype tokens !Thats why i carefully check for the project backgrounds to prevent this good developers are good indicator and open source code in Github ! Well I think yes, ICO also have a projects that has a useful product that could be a useful tools in cryptocurrency. All we need to do is still trust ICO since its trust rate has lowered alot.
