I've never seen such ICO. If even WhitePaper not present, then what is there? Only a website and wallet address for collecting money? And how then does the project explain why they need money?

An ICO might promise whitepaper on a later date that is specify on their road map. So even no white paper concept, team and a good road map can start up a project. Some ICOs later don't follow their whitepaper

Pay attention to other points. Team, project experience, fees. What does the bounty manager and the development team say? Did you ask them a question? It seems to me very suspicious that there is no technical description. How then is the team going to promote their project? Be careful, everything is in your hands.

I wouldn't trust an ico if they don't have white paper. I believe that white paper helps to better know the project and if there are no documents means the developers are hiding something.

I don't think that's true. I participated in very promising ICO projects. Some projects did not have white paper at once. But I believed in the development team and the idea of the project. After a while, white paper appeared. I believe that it is better to watch and study the development team.

It would be somewhat uncalled for to call it a trick since you don't have a white paper, however must be exceptionally cautious, how might you know their objectives, standards, and plans without the white paper? Other than the advancements included and how they will function? they may discharge the abundance ahead of schedule to raise supports speedier, however an undertaking so snappy to discharge the abundance without a white paper is exceptionally suspicious.

Personally , I don't think there should be an ICO without whitepaper. The whitepaper bridges the gap between an investor and a company. Can we say a ICO without a whitepaper is a scam? Or what can you say about an ICO without whitepaper

I am also not agree with ICO that has no whitepaper. Whitepaper is the base of the project. But I am now hearing a new coin that has no whitepaper and this is pluotos coin (for more information go to this thread : https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.42168788) We do not know where it came from. I am just hoping that there are no other project be like this.

An ICO without a  good white paper is a no go area for me, as some companies just have a drafted document labelled white paper without nothing of value really in it, for a serious crypto investor i advise you spend ample time going through the whitepaper, as some of this documents are filled with poorly writtern English and have no ideology behind them.

I think it would be weird for now if ico does not have white paper, basically white paper to make it easier for investors to be more interested in the concept of ico developers. so say you should review it so as not to get stuck on ico scam

There is no way that a good ICO will not have a whitepaper, if it does not have one then it is most definitely a scam coin. The whitepaper is what tells you what kind of project it is and what kind of processes that will be taken to make sure that the project will turn out to be a success. If you ever find an ICO without a whitepaper then you should stay away from it, it is a scam.

if an ICO does not have a white paper, how can the project attract investors to invest? but you have to be very careful, how do you know their goals, ideals, and plans without white paper? Besides the technology involved and how will they work? I might say that it is a project that just collects money and runs away.

I agree with you 100%. ICOs should have a whitepaper and be used as a main criteria in ICO investing. But not so fast mate, there scam ICOs that have their own whitepaper as marketing tool to fool investors. One should verify if all of the info detailed in whitepaper are correct and not misleading. Some are plagiarized and using fake names and photos of dev team. DYOR is the key.

ICO without a whitepaper is just a pure scam. Just like this post that has no common sense at all. Who would even ever invest in something that you don't know or at least have a little bit of information? No one in their right mind would do that.

The whitepaper is the heart of the ico because it contains all the informations about the ico and about the project .

If there is an ICO  without whitepaper will be presume a scam, since Platform and purpose and other information of the project will be  written in a white paper, so just be a vigilant anytime, maybe this is the best way stopping this kind of human behavior .

i think investors really scare to invest in ICOs without any informations about the project in the whitepaper, an ICO with no informations can hardly get attentions from communities and most likely the ICO are scam, moreover, investors will not know what to do without a roadmap or the developer team to put their money in the project then surely they will not invest in that ICO.
