How can you offer a project without a plan. How do you want to communicate with your investors anyway and let them know the potential within your project. well if you ask me i would not participate in any initial coin offering for any project which does not have a whitepaper. It will definitely turn out to be a scam projects.
I would not participate in such an ico,where there is no white paper, or there is no road map... This is one of the first criteria for choosing an ico
If they have only started their project and don't plan any ICO in the near future, then it's not the biggest problem. But if they ask people to send them money and don't have any whitepaper, then for me it's 100% scam.
Whitepaper is the most important element of any ICO.For knowing more explanation,we need to read the whitepaper carefully.Actually,it's a part of ICO.
Whitepapper is a very important document. It contains all the information about the project, which is necessary for investors. I believe that such a project will not survive
Its simply a team without knowledge of what are they doing in the project. Maybe they are just there for scamming people around. It is very important to have a whitepaper to let your investors know you have a working model and details of everything about your project.
I haven’t met ICO projects without whitepaper yet but I think it could exist really. It is necessary to understand that instead of whitepaper some another document should be available.
Never joined and invest your money on ico without have whitepaper, you will loss your money if keep joined an ico project without have whitepaper. By reading on whitepaper we know what the opportunity of their ico project, we will more learning about how their ico will work and their roadmap about ico sale
This is not a scam, but it repels many investors. Because people do not want to invest in a project that they know nothing about it
ICO without whitepaper means that they don't have any project & road map and if there is no project it can be scam in future because road map is the mirror of the company.

ICO without whitepapers is like walking without direction, at least investors can understand what details will be the main objectives of the project, what steps to its success, project advantages, marketing strategy, excellent products, team, etc. all of which can reassure investors from all walks of life.ICO without whitepaper is also not necessarily a scam / fraud, why? ... because some projects there are more summarized as roadmap.

Yep, for me, the lack of white paper is a disturbing factor. In that case, I will not take part in that ico or bounty campaign, because it's very risky.
I agree with that 100%. Whitepaper is a necessary document to have. All ICO need to have the whitepaper. My advise is never joined or invest your money on ICO without have whitepaper, you will loss your money..
An ico project need a great whitepaper because this will bring more investor to come in their project to invest and in whitepaper you can see the goal of the project if its legit or not, for long term or short run only, so I suggest dont invest to any ico project that has no whitepaper to provide or else you want to scam.
It certainly sounds funny, but unfortunately this is the reality today. There are unscrupulous ICO. They were too lazy to even copy someone else's white paper. Those who invest here money likely will lose their.

We know that every project start with the whitepaper. Whitepaper is very important to determine the goal of that project and everything. So how would sell your product if there is no label? Not that easy. Without whitepaper we can't tell if that is 100% scam maybe we should look for their development before investing. Remember most of the Scam ICO has a whitepaper. With or without it will never give us the assurance we want.
The white paper is on the road map for the future, development. I think projects without white paper are doomed to failure.
Whitepaper is an important document and an integral part of an ICO especially as it concerns requesting people to invest their hard earned money. I'll hardly invest in any project that has no whitepaper as it's tough to know the team, solution they're proffering, roadmap, token matrix, amongst other things.
