Not all ico's are scam nor legit.Based in my experienced. The best idea or tips when invested. You should know the project, the team, and their purpose itself why they have made the project.Research the team behind of the ico and read more articles and observe the dev if they are active and attentive. Then if you feel comportable then invest the amount you can afford to lose.Always diversify your money.

There are a lot of legit ICO out there and just be careful when you try to invest in them. Try for a small amount and learn by experiencing the process from reading and then waiting until the project gives you return.

Not all ICOs are scam, but MANY ICOS ARE SCAM!
There is almost no way to identify whether it's scam or not because scammer is  smarter today. My advice for you guys who want to invest in ICO, make sure that the project idea is unique and not just a copycat. The team clearly have experience in that field. The project transparent and give attention to the investors' feedback.

Hi Guys,

Im pretty keen to understand more about ICOs and intend to invest in some.
ANY recommended ICOs and any advise how you guys determine whether is it a legit or Scam?

Thanks in advance.

Honestly, it is hard to identify an ICO that are legit.  But in my own opinion before i will going to invest i should see to it that i already have an idea and done some research about the project, I prefer to have an pexisting and already visible infrastructure, the product and services they offer is very unique and useful that can be helpful to their target market, actively visible in any social media sites and ann thread.

Study the site, the team, whitepaper. Read telegram chat and thread on bitcointalk. That would be very helpful.

Today, the ICO process is probably one of the most vague processes. In some countries, crypto-currencies are completely banned, I think that you understand why, in others, crypto-currencies are completely resolved, so you need to clarify which country you are talking about.

ICOs are not scam, they are like a conventional company looking for a start up through selling of shares to stakeholders. However, it's highly recommended that you do your own research thoroughly before buying from any ICO.

Investing in ICO's is very much like investing into anything, research and doing your homework is what is needed.  Most of them just poor projects but there are really game changer ICO 's. Though it may sound not a 100% true, but most of the ICOs managed by reputable campaign managers are legit and become successful. Most of these campaign managers study first the project before accepting it. But again, this is not the proper way how to determine which one is a scam and not, but in some ways, it also matters. Try to ask in some forums so you will know more about that ICO. Visit their website in order to know information regarding the project. Then in the bounty thread, the bounty manager must be a high rank position and have at least Legendary rank and no negative trust. There are also some projects that look legit but after money grab, nothing big happens for a long time and team only give more and more promises. But do not let these negative sides get it on to you, because  with some of the projects you can make more money than a boring job with jsut a easy hand work.

Now it is very difficult to determine! It is necessary to get acquainted with the project! With the team Manager. To study in detail the white paper! Especially carefully study the road map!

They are legitimate, not fraud. I think it's one of the most potential markets I've ever met.

It's really difficult to say exactly whether it is scam or not because good % of all ICOs are pure scam...the situation went worse last year.

If the ICO has a team that is very active in loving know about the development of ICO they are undergoing, it is likely ICO is not a scam and the future can be very promising.

There are legit ICO'S as well as scam ICO'S. The only thing is to be careful if investing in ICO'S because nowadays, there are lots of scam ICO'S pretending to be genuine.

I can tell you that due to it's increase in popularity there's a lot of scam ICOs out there, probably like 90 percent. You have to be careful and research a lot to find the right one.

There are lots of ICO and risk to find a SCAM Now it is very high. I get to know that several Banty which I carried out turned out a SCAM, and those which I couldn’t even imagine. So chances to find SCAM 50 on 50 %, even if you analyzed this project by many criteria.

The main problem is that the ICO has no unambiguous status at the level of legislation. Many countries are waiting or ignoring it. Because yes, ICO even for the purpose of fraud can work quietly and collect money.

Of course divided into two types. There is a legit ICO and ICO are a scam. even that comparison is almost the same. While this is increasingly difficult to find a legit ICO project. Since most precisely the scam, or not produce. This situation is quite alarming.
