The apps with Dapp idea and new blockchain technologies (e.g. quark) have a positive feedback. In general, this is a normal situation. The world's changing, and such new markets are changing 3 times faster. It's a necessity, which protects them against death and decline. It's the only way to survive, everything will be harder if more interesting next!
Fully agree with your opinion. Many investors believe that the crypto market itself had a negative impact on crypto projects, but I believe that a very small number were good crypto projects.
Some ICO are even struggling to get their token listed on decent exchange, how can the price grow if like that
I see no point in investing in ICO whatever bonus they gave .. when entering the stock exchange, you can buy 5-10 times cheaper than on ICO
Yes! That is true because most of ICO during 2017 are not scam while most ICO in 2018 are scam and most of investors do ICO to generate profit to their own interest.
In 2018, not only the ICO is not similar, but the cryptocurrency market has become quite different. The prolonged fall of the market introduces new rules of the game. Most projects delay the end of the ICO, because they are afraid of a sharp drop in the price of the token.
2018 was not good for cryptos and alot of people lost alot of investment because of this year and a few newbies lost the trust in cryptos. But still it won't matter, if the guys who have invested in will get their rewards for Hodling because i believe that the cryptos will make their way back with much more strong bullish run then 2017.
It is quite normal to expect the ICO tokens to have a dip in price during the first few months of their launch. It is because of the bounty participants that the price fall because there are many people who work in bointy programs to promote the ICOs and then when the tokens/coins are launched in the exchanges, the people dump it to get BTC in return for it. This is how the cycle had been working until today.
Last year, almost all the projects after entering the stock exchange gave at least a couple of X, today there is no such thing anymore, and I think there will be no more
we have to invest in those ICO which have a high potential in the future the product of them also contain some value if the product is better then the price of it will go higher. If you will invest in high potential coins and ICO then you will get a good profit.
The gold times of 2017 with easy x10-20 in just few weeks after the ICO are over. Now we must be much more careful. Still, finance and gambling ICO's are showing great ROI.

I have found that all the ICOs i have invested in have launched at almost the ICO price but in a few days dipped below the ICO prices by half or 5X for some.
With this i have discovered its better not to invest in an ICO but wait for the launch and the DIP to buy it at the corrected prices made by market forces.
Its just too hard to tell the real or recommended value of a token in an ICO these days.

Cryptocurrency is not ponzi, where everything is fixed and then an eventual total crash. It is an investment that involves supply and demand, which i would also call a form of market place. Whereas, a normal market does not also have fixed or continuous increase in price, you should expect the same with crypto. Any investor who has spent a considerable amount of time chasing ICOs and trading Cryptocurrencies knows this a sound strategy to follow, neglecting those few projects that their prices never dipped. But the question/problem that arises if everyone was to wait for the launch and the DIP to buy at corrected prices, then who will buy during the ICO?
The ICO market crashed this year. All coins were issued and hit the stock exchange, fell dozens of times. The people’s interest was gone and they don’t want to buy even at such low prices coins on the stock exchanges.
Now there are fewer scam projects on the market but at the same time there are a lot of projects that do not begin to move, do not cope with the current situation on the market and simply go away leaving their investors with nothing

Yes, nowadays there are less perspective project than in 2017, but you can buy stable altcoins that will make you a profit after accepting ETF
