There have been too many ICOs in this 2018 more than 2017. People are now even confused on which project to invest. In fact, most of the projects are just similar and nothing to differentiate them. It is not the scams alone that have scared people away.

The gold times of 2017 with easy x10-20 in just few weeks after the ICO are over. Now we must be much more careful. Still, finance and gambling ICO's are showing great ROI.
I think people are more conscious of 2018 ICO. The 2017 Where bought out zeal of making money quickly. Scam in 2018 were more exposed before sales starts.
ICOs in 2017 were exceptionally smooth when diverged from 2018, most likely, that is the point. Its because you invested in lousy projects, dont get scammed by the WP of ICO, do your research before investing. Too many $hit projects out there they dont need millions to launch their projects but they still priced their tokens super high which will definitely fall below ICO price.
On some coins, the price flies up several times, then falls to the price of the sale of ICO and in a few months exceeds the surge after the release of coins to the market.
It is a fact that in 2018 most of the ICO are unprofitable but investing in a legitimate and trusted ICO will really make us gain a double gain. we must invest too cautiously because too many projects look good changed in fraudulent projects. I also experience that, some coins promise the first time the coin gets into the trading site will be the price of ico.
Of course the are not the same. Market is totally different as well, many can't collect even soft cap, people don't have big interest for ICOs now, that's a very difficult period.

Despite this, the level of investment in ICO projects remains very high. If you analyze the Coinmarketcap, you can see that the number of new tokens has increased several times compared with 2017.
Most coin falls when listed and you won't know if it will recover same as coins that doesn't fall because you won't know either if it's going to fall after listed that's why there's Bonuses so you can support the project and make it better coin
It is quite normal to expect the ICO tokens to have a dip in price during the first few months of their launch. It is because of the bounty participants that the price fall because there are many people who work in bointy programs to promote the ICOs and then when the tokens/coins are launched in the exchanges, the people dump it to get BTC in return for it. This is how the cycle had been working until today.
It is definitely due to the market behavior of last year and this year which made the difference when it comes on the outcome of the projects. Last year, the market is dominated by green marks which positively affected the profit of the investors from ICOs which is the total opposite of this year wherein the msrket itself is fillled with red marks influencing the projects, negatively as well as investors.
Yeah, the differences between ICOs on 2017 with 2018 are quite much. The ICOs now potentially below ICO price when it is launched, moreover it will be failed project. Now you have to think twice before joinin any ICOs. But not all of ICOs will have the same ending, you just need to be smarter and do a deeper research by your analysis skill.
I agree! The ICO in 2018 has more fraud and a stronger discount than in 2017 ... Therefore, there should be more careful selection in 2018.
Any investor who has spent a considerable amount of time chasing ICOs and trading Cryptocurrencies knows this a sound strategy to follow, neglecting those few projects that their prices never dipped. But the question/problem that arises if everyone was to wait for the launch and the DIP to buy at corrected prices, then who will buy during the ICO?
I as noticed to crypto ico i see every year there is a lot of ICO scam or failed because they did not have any plan to become successful their project.
With the sittuation market recently, the ICO price when be listed in market usually lower than the price when sell ICO. So, choose to buy token when it is listed is a wise choice at this time
It is not useful to beginners First we should study the white paper and road map of the new project then it is satisfy our expectation we can invest ICO. But two to three times analyse the project and ask suggestion for some experts then we can invest the ICO.
yeah it is correct. crypto market in 2018 is not as good as it was in 2017. it is because of volumes and cap of the market. i think this market was not ready for such a huge growth yet. but i think next time it will achieve to stay in high levels.
