Hmm I think almost all of the ICOs have gone through that phase. Dips can happen if there are those bounty or airdrop users selling without checking the orderbook.

Yes, I agree. Because it seems like bounty hunters when recieving their tokens are always dumping the price significantly

Uniquely the scope of ISO projects will be different from 2017! In many villages, laws restricting citizens' opportunities for investment have been introduced. As practice shows, from 2016 every year there is a decrease in the number of successful ICO and the percentage of those projects that could not raise money...

This is a world turnaround. Like a wheel spin. The phase changes from one condition to another. The condition as you are experiencing (ICO is not well developed) is one of the impacts of the current major cryptocurrency conditions. If he is stable then they will be stable.

yes really the same as my thinking, but I often experience like this when listing on the ICO Exchange coin market is down right and to ride it is waiting a long time.

unless the coin is listing again on the infamous Exchange such as Bittrex, Binance, Kucoin and Poloniex, and ordinary if such likes to rise its price.

this is my own opinion but it may help others.

I have found that all the ICOs i have invested in have launched at almost the ICO price but in a few days dipped below the ICO prices by half or 5X for some.

With this i have discovered its better not to invest in an ICO but wait for the launch and the DIP to buy it at the corrected prices made by market forces.
Its just too hard to tell the real or recommended value of a token in an ICO these days.

Hope this helps to the new investors thinking of ICOs

You are right! One of the ICO that I know which took everything seriously was REMME.

REMME had their successful ICO with 14 millions raised in the funds for the project development.

They are more successful today because they had everything arranged perfectly. They followed the roadmaps and they kept their promises with their customers. Thus it tells me that ICO who are working hard and according to their roadmap tend to become more successful than those who dont!

It is because of the instability of Bitcoin price, then ico after distribution will drop along with Bitcoin price. Not to mention because of the dumper of bounty hunters.
In the past year, almost all ico success because Bitcoin experienced a tremendous increase. It benefits developers and investors.

I agree with you, with the one correction that Ethereum is affecting the movement of tokens. Well Ethereum is affeced by Bitcoin, so in the end Bitcoin is affecting everything.
Last year Ethereum was a lot more stable and the market was somehow better. This year investors are more careful and ICOs don't raise so mush funds and this is making it hard for them.

Absolutely agree your opinion. The world CrytoCurrentcy right now less true investor everyday but the specs are larger everyday and victim also in this market.
But this market is young and it's need improve in future. I believe in future it's will be good and noise than other market for sure.

I think 2017 is the peak of ICO. Many crooks and shit coins have landed. But in 2018, under the bear market, the ICO lecture becomes a shit. Few projects can stand out from the ICO. So I did not choose to invest in ICO this year.
indeed in the year 2017 ico very easy to achieve success,
because the market is very good and stable, but for this year a lot of ico with strict regulations

which I know is so because in 2017 and 2018 now it's different because ICO is currently a lot of fraud and do not get much profit because I know a lot of people who invest in ICO do not get a profit because with this I know too hurry and do not see if the project is in good follow or not

We are in a corrective market and most market tends to be down at times like this.

But if you are considering for an ICO to just wait to hit the market before buying, then that makes a lot of sense right now considering you will even be having a sweet deal more than you would have had when you bought during the ICO and a lot of investors are beginning to get worried with that anyway which makes it totally unreasonable with the idea of having an ICO in the first place.

Most of the new tokens listed on the exchange really first in the first time fall in price. Such a study has already been conducted and it shows that tokens in the early days tend to fall in price and recover in about six to eight months. Of course, specific figures depend on the project itself. In the first half of the year, moreover, the general stagnant state of the crypto-currency market also contributes to this decline. If the market had a general upward trend, the situation would be a little better.

Much of the current dip in price of tokens soon after listing on exchange can be attributed to the bearish market position. When the market is bullish, even shit coins gets positive price movements.2017 was a great year for ICOs investors.

Maybe ICO will dead soon. It because many investor doesn't trust again with ICO especially with many SCAM ICO. I think in 2019 ICO are impossible to be success again.

ICOs in 2017 were quite smooth as compared to 2018, yeah, that is the point. This is because of the governmental regulations on ICOs took effect this year, 2018, and this caused a lot of panic in the system. Lot of investors back off - the reason for the bear market early this year. However, most ICOs are adopting to the system and gaining their grounds again.

I agree it had a point, last year 2017 most of the ICO are really profitable and legit but this year most of the ICO's  are scams.
It's definitely different ICO's in 2018 than 2017 the ICO, value and community development.
Most of the profit happened in the 2nd half of the year, we are still in the first half so expect the next half would be nice for ICO.
Now, only few ICO can reach their hard cap, but that is alright because as long as they continue to develop the project people will see and invest it once market starts to rise.
