Cryptocurrency will not die, people are always use it without meaningful problem. Its decentralized and anonimous. Probably government can influence bitcoin's price and reduce the user of bitcoin but it will not makes bitcoin die. If bitcoin die, probably ETH will replace bitcoin but if this happen, someday ETH will die too.
I don't think so, something will die if there's no demand on it. When Bitcoin die, people who already had faith in bitcoin will cash out all their money. It'll be hard to build people's faith on another altcoin when they already saw bitcoin's collapse

Yes, this is a good question , i think the percents that altcoin will die is higher than not. Because for now, altcoins are trading with Bitcoin's amount. It mean 1 altcoin = xxx Bitcoin. So they all are dependent on Bitcoin, Bitcoin dies = Altcoins die.

If the problem is between bitcoin and the government, definitely altcoins will die together with bitcoin. But if the problem of bitcoin is just to itself or because of some other coins stood up and ruled over it, altcoins will still live.

Bitcoin is a very popular crypto coin today, we know that Bitcoin will be very expensive in the future but I imagine if Bitcoin die, whether there will be hope for the future of altcoin? because most altcoin exchanges are to bitcoins
your opinion is highly appreciated. Smiley

I don't think so. Alt coins would actually flourish if bitcoins die because many would transfer to much better and feasible coins to invest on. There are many more coins there that could could beat bitcoins out of the competition. It's just that bitcoins today are just very popular. It neglects alt coins because of this.

Bitcoin die wont lead to the result altcoins die, altcoins are born to be better than bitcoin at many ways, so if bitcoin died the world will be very shock, and may be the whole cryptocurrency will be effected badly by bitcoin dead.

The question is non-sense itself...bitcoin is something "never dies" as long as there's a single computer in the universe running as a bitcoin node.

I don't think so. But maybe it will go this way, if Bitcoin dies altcoin will rise. Since the demand is being divided into alts and Bitcoin. It is just that Bitcoin is having a larger community and market value. So if Bitcoin will be gone, all the demand that it is getting and its community will go or be moved to altcoin that will make altcoin something to look forward with if this thing will happen.

Will the bitcoin die? On that I think it depends on the market, if market conditions are still a lot of interest in bitcoin then it will not happen, but for the impact of bitcoin death on altcoin precisely I assume inverted that if bitcoin die then altcoin will be victorious because of the experience that already exists today when bitcoin prices in the market are experiencing a decline in the fact that altcoin prices are inversely proportional to bitcoin.

Possibly yes. There is a wide possibility that if ever bitcoin cryptocurrency will die, altcoin (alternative cryptocurrency) will die too because we can observe that bitcoin is on its peak right now so if bitcoin will die, it merely implies that cryptocurrency will not be on the high demand so altcoins will be affected on this scenario that can also result for those altcoins to die like bitcoin.

If BTC dies, which it won't, then yes altcoins die as well. I don't know why people think altcoins are not somehow tied to BTC. They think because they created them via an ERC20 toekn on the Ethereum network that they can just exist individually. The thing is that all these other cryptocurrencies are tied to the value of BTC. BTC is the ruler bceause it is sound money that functions on an immutable settlement network.

Bitcoin is just one of the many blockchain projects out there and if bitcoin were to die today, I do not see a reason why other altcoins should follow it, and for the record bitcoin cryptos of today are now third generation which are nolonger based on being an alternate payment option.

most altcoin exchanges are for bitcoin. but that does not mean altcoin fate is determined by bitcoin.
i think if Bitcoin dies, maybe one of the altcoins will be made king, because investors still need criptocurrenccy as an investment asset

I consider bitcoin as the root of a large tree, and altcoin is a branch of a tree. what will happen to the branch when the roots die? Then the twigs will slowly begin to dry and eventually die as well. Bitcoin is now a necessity. Altcoin could have died but bitcoin will still exist, and meet the needs of its users, bitcoin will die if the market dies.
Yes i agree on that i bleieve that if bitcoin die all its branches will goin to die also even if we have notice that if bitcoin fall altcoin will rise but this all  simple thing only turning into the big world or maybe field in cryptocurrency and thier really going to die if bitcoin well die.maybe on this tine arround we can search for another kind of coin for good .however i really do believe that bitcoin will really rise for a decade even if it will not takes forever the important here is the learnings.

It might depend on the reason why Bitcoin can die. In case when the death is due to total ban of Bitcoin as done by all governments or regimes then there is a possibility that Bitcoin death can also mean the death of altcoins. Now, if the reason can be other than that or it is within Bitcoin like losing the appeal from the market then there is a possibility that another coin can rise up to take the vacuum of leadership.

Yes, i agree with you it depends on the reason.
Suppose an exploit was revealed about bitcoin publically and with the same exploit you can rip alt coins also then there's a chance altcoin will be gone but i doubt anything like that will ever happen Grin

In my opinion, no. People, that are not that much into crypo currencies, are mostly or solely only into bitcoin, paying almost no attention to alt-coin. So, if bitcoin dies by some case, that might open up the path to bigger alt-coins like ETH or LTC for example and people may start implementing various alt-coins depending on the business. Like when the big loaded up heavy truck is going slowly on the road creating a large strip of cars behind him, suddenly when the truck takes a turn, cars just zoom past him.
