I dont get the point why everyone is obsessed with the internet shutting down - seriously speaking, if that would happen, then every service being provided that depends on a working internet will also shut down - there will be total chaos in a country and in such a war like situation, crypto is not the primary concern, but people's lives are. Are you all daft that you dont realize this?

And would a government really want such things to happen? Think logically and rationally. There is a difference between being skeptical and being delusional.

How was it operated then? Is this even possible? I don't think so. If there's any such project, I think it will be one of those with real world offices. Maybe they could be able to develop a blockchain that is operated without internet, just like bank ATMs.
I think anyone that would be creative enough to develop such cryptocurrency would have its coin competing with BTC in the couple of years to come.

If the internet will be down in the future, the crypto industry will undoubtedly stop as well. Any transaction and the mere existence of cryptocurrencies heavily depend on the internet. So if in the future the internet will be down, I do not think that crypto industry will still thrive. Yet, I doubt that internet won’t be part of the future being that "it is the future", especially in the following modern generations.

seems like the trend of coins without internet can't last in the past. but maybe this trend in the future could happen with the development of large and modern technology that will make it easier for humans to innovate. but I'm still optimistic in the future internet connection will still be required for most crypto tokens

The world of crypto transactions today were very dependable on the internet and if in case it happen that there will be a one day without internet then it will be a nightmare for every one crypto trader and investors. So far, I haven't heard any transactions made thru offline and it will be breakthrough to crypto platform if one day transactions offline will be available before the any internet disruption occur. However, if it happen then it is not only the crypto platform the very affected because almost all transactions of the worlds system today mainly depend through internet.

Today's world is very dependent on the internet, almost all fields need the internet so that if one day the internet goes down there will be a lot of losses to big problems that will occur, without the internet of course we cannot use cryptocurrencies so dependence on the internet sometimes becomes a serious problem.

This is never will possible, without internet we are offline, we can't do any online work without internet, then how we can transact without internet system.

Making transactions without using the Internet will be a breakthrough towards an even brighter future of the cryptocurrency market.
In the meantime, we depend on the Internet like the entire cryptocurrency world.
But this does not prevent transactions in cryptocurrencies, since the Internet can now be found in the most remote parts of the earth and there are no problems connecting to it.

when this happens of course we have to look at the reasons why this can happen.
for an area of the internet that is totally dead it might be due to a network error or something else. but globally it will be very difficult to accept because indeed things like this the possibility will be very small considering the sophistication that is happening today and with the advancement of existing civilizations.
it would be very difficult to think of us living without the internet but it would also be difficult to think of the internet dying globally at the same time.

Back then the Temtum project also mentioned something similar, it was suppose to be part of the new feature the dev team was working and developing on the project, i know this because i was part of the community then, there was a demonstration of it posted on the temtum official telegram group by the ceo Richard Dennis then, but am not sure if it was successfully concluded and implemented, it would have been a game changer for the project had the team succeeded in it, so far i don't think i have heard of any project lately.

There seems to be no crypto project without the internet. We know for ourselves that Crypto is digital based which of course will require the internet to access it. If the internet didn't exist then there probably wouldn't be any crypto projects. This is a bad possibility but I think it is impossible in the future the internet will disappear, even though the technology is getting more sophisticated. Including crypto, which is getting better and better and is known to many people from various circles.

Honestly, it feels uncomfortable if you don't have internet but in reality there's still a lot of places that there are no internet connection, and guess what they also don't know what is cryptocurrency or even Bitcoin simply because Bitcoin works with the internet and if you don't have any access on internet, there's no way for you to use Bitcoin. Internet is one of the basic necessities nowadays, especially now that everything works online.

You are right that there are countries that don't have an access to the internet at all, but we are used to the internet, we have grown in this comfort so we can't live without it. The internet provides us with many useful functions that make our life easier, so I can't imagine our life without it. Bitcoin's transactions require an access to the Internet, so we would be deprived of Bitcoin.

The important indicators of the countries as well as the intrusion defense system are at the most advanced level to protect the economy as well as the territory, internet sources all have their own source code and space to become the foundation for other elements, not easily collapsing on a large scale.

I think this world has multiple prevention for this case already because i'm sure they already think this could happen and already prepared what they will be doing if this happen.
The world should be in chaos if this happen for a day or more because right now, most people are using cloud and no longer working on their personal computer storage. If people choose to use cloud instead of local computer, the internet might be already have prevention to turn it down.
