Is there any crypto project that can transacts without the internet? I heard there was one two years ago I couldn't remember the name again but why isn't such project doing so well today? If the internet goes down in future this type of project will be useful don't you think?

Right now there is none but there is a way to transact Bitcoin without an internet connection and that is through high-frequency radio you can also use this on other coins for transactions without the use of the internet go check out the article and see how they do it.

If the world didn't have internet this would be really bad it's almost like the end of the world everything will become primitive the world will no longer be connected and all will be isolated. At the same time, it is also the time when cryptocurrencies will go into oblivion and we will start using fiat currencies again. But I think at that time people will start living in their darkest days so if the internet disappears it will come with a lot of problems and with it cryptocurrencies will also disappear.
How is it the end of the world if internet is no more? There was a time where we don't have access to the internet and everything was better at the time, humans can adapt to anything even a world without internet connection
Humans even ate raw meat by killing animals in the past so can we adapt such system now to reduce global warming and save natural non renewable sources?

Also there was a time when we don't have vehicles but still we travelled the world by the walk itself!

Lol, didn't expect that. The internet is so important to the world. In theory, the internet may not work, but in practice it will be very difficult to disrupt the internet infrastructure system on a large scale. I think there would be no blockchain that meets today's needs without the internet. Off-grid Cryptocurrency Trading - Tested a few years ago with a smartphone and several goTennas. Everything is a man's idea but to secure property, it has to be more practical.

I don't think that there has been any crypto project that actually operates without the use of internet, though it is possible and it will only depend on what the project is, I did not do my research so I am unsure with the possibility of it but innovators may have thought of it or even planned something like that already.

When the internet goes down, we have other options, one option may be through mobile data, if the internet ever goes down, we can use our mobile data as an alternative, 5G connections are almost everywhere now depending on what country you live in, just imagine on how solidified our internet and mobile data connection will be in the future, I doubt that a worldwide internet breakdown would occur because of how advanced technology is by now.

XRP can be transacted now without internet. The Chinese YUAN can too.
How to send them without internet? I doubt it, I think the only way to transfer coins is through internet. Even if it can be done without internet, I am not sure it will be as easy as with internet. So, we still have a big problem if there will be no internet. We also don't have a live crypto market (exchanges) if there will be no longer internet in the world.

He might talk about becoming fiat or paper note/bond since those two were centralized af in crypto so the owner behind it can try something like start to print their own money and use it without the internet. Basically, if the internet goes down, we have to back to the old ways, trade, and barter, using notes and papers.

I don't think that the internet will be disconnected in the future. Elon Musk launched thousands of Starlink devices into space so that we have internet anywhere. If the governments of the countries block the internet then you need to bypass the blockages and not be afraid of disconnecting internet.

The Internet has entered the life of every person in the world, thanks to computers, and now thanks to smartphones. Many people thanks to the Internet can quickly find the answer to their question and therefore it is very much in demand. The Internet cannot be turned off, and I don't think it will ever happen at all. And of course, the cryptocurrency market is entirely dependent on the Internet. I really hope that the quality of communication will also develop rapidly as the cryptocurrency market.

I also heard that project before maybe through SMS I think, I don't know how can we successfully transact through SMS but anyway this type of project is very useful if no internet on your mobile, this project will be trendy for sure.

I heard about a similar project that focuses on offline transaction but the project didn't do to well. The main issue I see here is that Internet is just so important for our everyday life. We only notice how important the constant connection to the Internet is if we lose it. Last year I had several outages and was days without the Internet, eventually I had to switch providers. Even though I still had my mobile phone and could access emails it was hard on me.
Projects without Internet are not so attractive because it is so unlikely to imagine a time without the Internet. It's just a matter of time until we reach global Internet coverage by satellites, than we have cable Internet, wireless and satellite Internet. So even if one of them is going to fail we will have some backup to rely upon. That everything fails is a black Swan event.

If we consider this idea in theory, then everything will stop, it’s not the crypto world that will collapse, but the entire financial world will collapse, how to trade shares of companies, print them on paper? but how to build logistics chains for the purchase and sale of goods. This is a direct movie The Day the Earth Stood Still.

Collapse will happen in all venues of businesses, not only for crypto but with all those places where internet is really important.
But if we will focus on our discussions with crypto, it surely does that the industry will collapse once internet runs out, there's no way
for any transactions to process.

Internet is a big part of crypto industry. Blockchain needs the service to run smoothly without any problem.

With these times that internet is a part of people's daily life, i think there is no such projects that can handle and progress without the use of internet, all projects now need internet to make it fame and known to every investors, traders and crypto enthusiasts. Even for transactions such us transfers of funds surely cannot be done or impossible without the usage of internet.

Internet is a very useful tool in today's life. It helps to know how many people have more knowledge, have more opportunities in study, career and life. And it's not just for this sector that the whole thing that is powered by the Internet will not be able to function or develop, in other words, an evolutionary setback. So this impossibility, we don't have to think about it.

I have not really heard of such project, but if truly such a project exists, it will be massive to know how it's mode of transaction would look like. Blockchain, Smart Contract, Tron chain and every other network in the crypto world deals with the use of internet for transaction around the world, so how will this project meet the demands of people around the world without the internet? Huh
For me, this will be a big challenge in the industry, but if it becomes a success, there will be a new trend in the crypto world within a very short period of time, and at that time, bitcoin and Etherium might lose the interest of its supporters.

If the internet goes down in future this type of project will be useful don't you think?

It will be very useful, not only in the crypto world but all round life, as it will be a trend for a new direction. The world governments and military/security, health sectors will adopt this idea. But one thing is, if the internet goes down, the world is more like going back to the stone age, and the term of technology is dead. Man's life is now being tagged to the internet, in which most people are alive today because of the presences of internet. Imagine the death rate that'll occured if such should take place. Ideas are infinite, but this one is going to be rare.

I am unaware of that project. Most project that I knew requires transaction in the internet. I'm kinda curious now how does the team plan to make their project into operation. Yes we all know its useful but I'm thinking hard if it is really possible. On the other hand, knowing rechnolgy kept improving I think internet will never goes down also. It is already a part of it.
As far as I know there is none, and crypto market originated thru internet and we can't transact without it and yes this is already part of our lives and many people can't live without it anymore.

Internet might only be dead if there's a world war and that's the only time for fiat money to be more useful than crypto because of panicking. Well, anything can happen and living without internet is really hard nowadays.

There is none because cryptocurrency works thru internet and I don’t think internet will be dead not in the next 50 years because there are so many transactions that needs the internet not unless your country restrict you from using internet just like in some country like North Korea or even China. But crypto without internet is a dead market already.

As I know, Bitcoin can be accessible without the internet. One year ago, a company named Blockstream transferred Bitcoin to a satellite connection. This way it became accessible even for people without Internet connection. But actually, you need at least 1200$ for the equipment and it is out of stock. Satellites give you an opportunity to receive data without an internet connection, but you can’t use them to send. One more solution is radio, but actually, it also requires a lot of equipment and it is not so secure.

The only thing I can think of are "paper wallets", which might be the most likely basis of a possible solution to this challenge.
Quote
That method is kind old now, so I am not sure if people are still storing them these days.

But wouldn't it be interesting to reconsider this possibility? Maybe the paper wallet concept can be updated to fit todays needs.

What about a banknote, which is a paperwallet at the same time, so if you give it to someone, he can chose if to store the value on the blockchain or leave it on the note?

Or better, integrate a smart contract on the note, which verifies the value of the note and transfers ownership.

With contonious development of technology in where internet is widely use, it's hard to see that this system will be down
in the future, everything is more focus in upgrading this venue and continue the use, In terms of crypto that will work without
the help of internet it would be tough or not possible in the long run. Every transaction still needs online service to transfer
the token between wallets.

The internet today is indeed vital for its existence just like electricity. without internet everything will die and will not work properly I will give a little example some time ago in my country there was a problem for companies controlled by mark zuckerberg namely FB, Insta and Whatsapp. a few days ago when this huge social media crashed within a few hours and cost Mark a loss of US$ 6 billion.
it's just because it crashes it can't be opened. imagine when the internet cannot be accessed, there will definitely be a lot of victims and losses for all parties, including crypto itself because it is still necessary to have internet assistance.

Dang. I forgot to share this when it happened.
Imagine how many critical meetings or messages were not done nor delivered at that moment. Not that I expect a lot of people to use Facebook for professional stuffs, but I am pretty sure that Facebook has its own Job platform and I couldn't imagine how it went really bad in their end at that moment.
Everything is dependent to the internet right now.
