I know it's still early to buy bitcoins as it is not still reaching what everyone is expecting like $3,000 or $5,000.

I'm going to invest that 500 bucks to ETH and will just wait for it to pump before selling it. And with the profit that I will get through ETH.

That will be converted to bitcoin and that's the start of my bitcoin holding.

Im prefer to chose BTC and ETH. but i see doge its good too but need long time investment to get a lot profit for doge.
And new altcoin with good reputation is good too. but choosing new altcoin is little bit risk cause maybe isnt popular and you willnt get profit.

Probably I'll be investing into bitcoin, because even $500 will surely get us a profit as the price seems to fluctuate often. Periodically we can earn good based on the difference in price happening between days. So right now bitcoin is good for regular buying and selling. If the investment is for a long term will prefer LTC and ETH.

Yeah, now i have already more than 500$ but i convert them into bitcoins. I also suggest you don't invest in other coins, only buy bitcoin with your $500 and see you have a chance to could double it only hold your bitcoin. I see in the end of 2017 bitcoin would be cross $3000, than it is great for you, and also for me to earn in $500.

I feel bitcoin has it its saturation. I would opt for XRP aka Ripple instead of any other currency. There are so many good things happening and just last month a big investment came in which skyrocketed the price. But its like penny stocks right now and should continue growing.

LTC is also another decent option.

But I am strongly suggesting to go 100% with bitcoins. It is highly expected altcoins may switch over to old trend of finding down fall against soaring bitcoin prices. LTC is one of the best and cheapest options right now considering how it was conceived and the level of legitimacy it has. I promise you that.

You wont find a better alternative to Bitcoin other than LTC, and besides Bitcoin miners were mining it from the get go if it wasn't good then why would they mine it?

And it's price isn't even %2 of Bitcoin's, frankly I bought some back then when price was moving around $4 and sold @25 which now I regret.

First of all I will investigate the better altcoin .Then j will think that how much I need to invest in a particular altcoin .
Here I will invest half of the money in the more stable alt coin and half of them in less popular altcoin .
So my first half investment will be in the ETH , DASH , DGB , ripple And rest of half will be invest in the Edr2 , Putin , creva , ripple , Montero , edr2, etc , adz , money .
In this way I invest and then leave it for the one month , because again and again to.look at the price is a totally stupid think , so it would be better that leave them.for the advance sell at which you want or expect that it will increase .

Invest in ICO's, look for ones with revolutionary ideas. Things like ETH, bitcoin etc have already pumped so while they may go higher in the next 1-2 years they won't go up 100x or 1000x like some of the promising ICO's will. For me in particular I like Aragon because they will revolutionize how companies operate in this globalized world.

OP, I have been asking that very same question for months now. If you read my posts from 3 months ago you will see that I mentioned of investing in my first altcoin. ETC. But sadly I was having second thoughts and now I am looking at it in pain because I let it slip away. My advice is to think about it but not too much.

Be careful if you are investing all in btc. BTC is already on all time high and there was no such big reason in past few days that btc price soared so high. So a fall in place means almost 500$ down will be easily. So ensure you can sustain a loss if it falls or else buy and sell in some profit itself.

if I saw this about 48 hours ago I would have said a little in bitcoin and the rest among a couple of altcoins. but today I will say all in bitcoin. the price took a dive and it is a very good chance to buy in if you have missed it before.
as I said in another topic you can buy in multiple steps.
for example you can deposit your $500 and then buy $200 now and wait a little to see which way it goes first. then if it dropped a little buy another $100 and another $100 if drop was little more. if the drop was big then buy the $300
or if price went up do the same. if it was a little rise buy another $100 and if it showed signs of another big rise then go in with the rest of $300 and enjoy the profit.

you can change the numbers to what you feel is safer. but the important part is the price you decide to buy at.

I will invest it to bitcoin, beside from being the top crypto currency the price is important to everyone to a hefty profit. The $500 is easy to get more profit in just a day or month. Compare to the other currency it has a big difference and advantages. And more investor used the bitcoin to get more profit and this will the reason why it is easy to pump and reach a high price. They only need is waiting the right time to sell their bitcoin and not being greedy in small profit.
