Do you continue hodling or sell? A lot of people say to hold no matter what happens and I'm not advocating daytrading but I think in a situation like this, it'd be advantageous to sell.

Thoughts? What would you do?
The best thing to do is to sell it. We all know that a huge pump will followed by a dump. We can took this opportunity to get profit and buy back once the coin decline it's price. Holding is necessary if the coin is slowly climbing which means there is an organic growth on the coin that you bought.

If price overnight has made 50%-100% you should sell.  You never know when the coin might drop again.

I think 100% will sell immediately. If it is the top three coins, then I think most people will continue to hold. But small tokens will definitely be sold in large quantities. This is a very simple logic. What do you think?

As I said earlier, 50%-50% and you're all set.
All of us mostly hodl big coins but those alts out of top20 are very unstable and it's a risk to hold them if they rise up too much. So keep one half and sell the other half.

Nothing at moment because 40%-200% wouldn't equate a significant enough impact on my life. If I had more money invested say 20-30k then yeah I'd sell in an instant but I'm around the 1k mark so not going to buy me any holidays or house improvements from that!

im very sure will sell it fast when it jump high and buy back when it drop again cause lot of market are like that always. no need to hold it very tight when it already make a big profit right. just sell it rite away and wait for it to drop again and buy back.

Yes, smart decision, we should sell at the right price, no need to hold tight as long as you satisfied the price, and if the price drop, then you buy it and hold until the next price goes up.

What kind of coin do you mean? I would first evaluate the potential of this cryptocurrency, if it has great prospects in the future, then it is not worth selling. If this crypto currency has only temporary popularity, then it would most likely sell.

If any token demonstrates a giant growth during one trading day (200 and more percent), then this event is a serious reason for me to sale it, in order to fix the profit. Because crypto-currencies are so unpredictable and volatile that it will be better to use every opportunity and not be greedy, expecting a more significant price.

if my coin increased 40% - 200% in value over night, I will sell it as soon at that moment.

That's safer to do, I'll give you that.
But I always leave at least half because maybe it'll continue to grow and you'll regret it later.

With such an aggressive growth, it is better to sell and enjoy a profit or just sell and place an order below.

I would look at the chart. But most likely I would sell. You can not be greedy, otherwise you can lose it.
But unfortunately I have not had such a case yet

It depends on the reason of increasing. If they have good news, I dont sell generally. But if nothing happened, i sell it after %40. Beacuse the big possible it is pump

I will sell only the coin when it price reached that particular lever, I have my own decision to hold the coin and I only sell at that price because this is crypto world nobody know the price will go again 500% up so I will only hold the coin again if the rice hike 40% to 200%. My option if you are a long term invest in crypto currency this 200% is nothing, look at many coins are reached above 15x profit,so think better to keep the coin up to reached your target

50/50% is my motto.
I convert 50% to BTC and hodl the rest.

depends on the situation. If it has huge potential and you got it real cheap, you can hold it as it wont drop much further.

However if you need the profit to dump to another project, just do it

In this case, it would be possible to sell 5% for new investments, and the second 50% to keep!

I will probably sell it as it is a gain no matter how you see it; profit is profit. If perhaps the coin pumped beyond 200% and I have sold, I will certainly regret selling but it also just means that I haven't maximized my earnings.
