Sunrisers Hyderabad's batting line-up has been inconsistent since the start of the season. And so they lost the first two matches. They won due to the responsible performance of the batsmen and bowlers in the third and fourth matches. And against Mumbai, the team probably lost the truck again. Hyderabad's top order did not perform well against Mumbai. They lost wickets very quickly. As Hyderabad's big target was 193, the team fell behind early in the innings due to a quick loss of wickets. Although Mayank Agarwal performed well, his batting was very slow. It seems unlikely that Sunrisers Hyderabad will climb the table. The team is not strong enough.

There is more to the game than just batting. Ishan Kishan is a good wk, we only recognize wicket keepers worth when you see one who is not good at it. He is having 33 avg runs per match so far with SR of 145 (source), that's good for t20 format. Tim David in last match took 4 catches and 1 run out, had those catches were dropped Mumbai might not have won.

Also, not everyone may perform excellent in every match, but in that one game that they do, they become the reason for the win.

Batting, bowling, captainship, fielding, economy rate, wicket keeping — all these combined make a good team. Team who full-fills most of these wins the trophy.

Sunrisers Hyderabad already lost this match when they let Mumbai Indians to score 192 runs. There was a time in the innings when they could have restricted them to under 170 runs. You can understand it better when you know that Sunrisers Hyderabad gave 89 runs in the last 6 overs which let MI make a gigantic total.

It was always difficult for them to chase this score against the bowling of Mumbai Indians and also the pressure of chasing overcome their batting ability.

Cameron Green's excellent performance helped Mumbai win. He batted responsibly. And played an excellent unbeaten inning of 64 off 40 balls. Also, Green's bowling performance was excellent. Although he bowled 4 overs, he picked up only one wicket. But he gave only 29 runs in 4 overs. I don't like the performance of any batsman except Heinrich of Hyderabad. Agarwal was able to collect 48 runs but his strike rate was only 117. Heinrich played an excellent inning of 36 runs off just 16 balls. Despite winning the last two matches, Sunrisers Hyderabad lost badly against Mumbai.

Sunrisers Hyderabad is in dire straits right now. They collected only 26 runs in 4 overs. But the important thing is that they lost the wickets of Harry Brook and Rahul Tripathi. Harry Brook who scored a century in the last match managed to collect only 9 runs today. Well, even though the Mumbai Indians went on a very slow run rate in the middle overs, they still end up 192 runs at the end of 20 overs. From Sunrisers Hyderabad Marco Jansen took 2 wickets but there were none of the bowlers who could seem to be devastating for Hyderabad.

Yeah, That's what I was talking about. You can't do much as a bowler on such Batting friendly pitch. So, You shouldn't blame bowlers for not performing well. IPL Pitches are made batting-friendly to attract crowds so they can enjoy high-scoring matches. Chennai Super Kings scores 53 runs from the first six overs and loses one wicket. But Royal Challengers Bangalore scores 75 Runs by losing two wickets in the first Six Overs. It was looking good for them.

Royal Challengers Bangalore could chase this runs easily if one of them (faf du plessis or Maxwell) were able to stuck around. Wayne Parnell wasted five balls which was enough for RCB to hit two boundaries to win the match. Anyways, Good luck to them. I hope they will come back stronger.

And on the other hand, CSK had some inexperienced bowlers, in the form of Akash Singh, Tushar Deshpande and Matheesha Pathirana. Without MSD, they would have lost the match yesterday.

For me Mahendra Singh Dhoni is GOAT of Indian cricket while he was playing for India his achievements are amazing with CSK is surely having one of the best captain ever and in near future we have no player with mindset like this in Indian cricket even now he is 40+ but still doing amazing job as captain and as batsman which is helping CSK for having good results just because of him now they are at 3rd spot in IPL league table which is not easy in presence of few toughest teams with quality players.

As they won last game now I am turning my views about them as top four spot is possible because they can handle pressure and this is important for the win in these matches, and they can bring positive results.

A few wickets here would have changed the outcome of the match. Again if the 7th and 8th no. players had been able to increase their strike rates they would have easily won the match.
