KKR bowlers were also in bad shape just S Sharma done better job but all others having punishment from the batting line up. KKR needs to work on their bowling unit if they want to keep their hopes alive for the better-end of this season because their batting is good, but their bowling is not helpful as how it needs to be against big teams.

Interestingly, Arjun Tendulkar was also having his debut on this match with two overs conceding 17 runs but got no chance for batting, still decent start for a player who is having place in this team just because of nepotism Tongue

Samson's 60 runs off just 32 balls and Hetmyre's 56 runs off just 26 balls were the two innings that defeated the Gujarat Titans team. Rajasthan is performing well this season. They have won 4 out of 5 matches. The Rajasthan team is able to perform very well in every match. This team is very strong both in batting and bowling. The players are in a very good rhythm.

Playing against 177 runs, Rajasthan Royals were under a lot of pressure. Rajasthan Royals managed to score 26 runs for the loss of just 2 wickets in the power play. Supporters of Rajasthan Royals were quite disappointed. After the next 12 overs their collection was 66 for the loss of 4 wickets. But a surprising thing is that they were so aggressive from the 12th over. Their collection stood at 155 for the loss of 5 wickets in 18 overs and they finally reached their target in 19.2 overs.

Sanju Samson played an incredible innings taking on Rashid Khan scoring 3 sixes in a row and he got out at the worst moment for the team but Shimron Hetmyer played the crucial innings by staying till the end and scoring the winning runs and on top of that Dhruv Jurel and Ravichandran Ashwin
scored useful runs during crucial moment which helped RR and yet another thriller which went to the last over.

There are many instances in the IPL where victory can be achieved even with less runs if the bowling line-up is strong. According to the match condition Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai definitely batting pitch and with this condition it is difficult to expect a win if you don't give a big target. One thing to note is that when Mumbai were batting at a target of 185 runs they completed that target with in 17.4 overs. Even if Kolkata scored 200 runs, they were inevitable win in this match.

Yes, I also noticed that as the tournament is progressing, teams are easily chasing targets under 200. The only way a team batting first can feel safe; is to score above 200 runs and then hope the opposition would not chase that score.

Kolkata Knight Riders scored 185 runs which was good on someday but today the Mumbai Indians were in complete control while chasing this score. There was not a moment in the match where Kolkata Knight Riders looked like they could protect this score.

One interesting thing in this match was that Venkatesh Iyer from Kolkata Knight Riders was declared man of the match although KKR lost the match. Venkatesh Iyer scored 104 runs in 51 balls and it was a treat to watch his innings.

Since the team management is satisfied with Rahmanullah's performance, it should be okay.

In Today's match, Rahmanullah failed to perform again. He scored 8 runs from 12 balls. Venkatesh Iyer showed an awesome batting performance today. But, look like it's not enough to win the match. Mumbai Indians need 61 runs from 51 balls and they have eight wickets in hand. Look like it's going to be an easy win for them.

Kolkata Knight riders managed to collect good runs by batting first they are on 159 runs in 17 overs , credit goes to Venkatesh Iyer whose century helped in reaching a good target . Other than that no player scored any runs , kkr cam give target of 180 with this pace and runrate .
